She's Cloudtail's sister, and after hearing stories about him from Princess, she wanted to get to know him, and she also wanted to see what was so interesting about clan life.

i'd just amp up the reason she canonically joined. the farm cat dude is ab*sive and goes after all the kits his mates have. to save herself and her kits, she moves to thunderclan and asks for their help. however, this causes the farm cat dude to go nuts and he goes after thunderclan, which ultimately gets him killed (either directly by someone or indirectly).

her reasoning was fine? most people object to the fact that she didn't integrate into the clan as a warrior, not that she joined in the first place
