What do the differences of these pelt colors look like to you?

red i guess i see as more vibrant, the other two just your average joe ginger cat. That makes sense, I was just curious, because on the allegiances, wiki, whatever, they seem to be different pelt colors. Stemleaf is described as orange, Eaglewing is described as ginger, I'm pretty sure some cat was described as red, but I can't remember who |

red is dark red, orange is regular orange tabby, ginger is more light but not quite light enough to be golden

red is dark red, orange is regular orange tabby, ginger is more light but not quite light enough to be golden That makes sense too |

It was tricky finding pictures that matched my mental images haha but I love looking at all the different shades of cats and their patterns, makes me want to do a mass post of images. Like normal grey, light grey, pale grey, Crowfeather grey, stone-grey (like Hawkheart), sandy grey (like Thrushpelt) ..geez there's so many greys lol |

Ginger is a bolder, darker orange.
Red is a dark red.
I never really see them as realistic cat fur colors tbh.

I didn’t know much about cats when I first read the books so these colors didn’t look unnatural in my head. I didn’t know that cats couldn’t have coats those colors. |

That's interesting, but it seems like they exist judging by the pictures below However, apparently Spiderleg's design is impossible I can def see Blossomfall's design as being impossible, not the tortoiseshell part, but the petal shaped white patches |

Orange is just....orange.
Ginger is a lighter shade of orange.
Red is a deeper shade of orange, but like....actually red?

it depends on which character im drawing, but to me, this is how it is in general:  tbh i associate that light ginger color with sandstorm, so thats sandstorms color in my mind. |
