Long story short, my cousin told me recently that she was reading the Warrior Cat series and I got hit with a serious wave of nostalgia. I was a huge fan of the series back when I was a kid and was quite at home on the art forum, although I did pop into the other forums from time to time. I remember how I would wait in anticipation for the end of the school day and run home to start up our clunky old pc. Ah, those were the days.
My life has been pretty busy lately, so I figured a dose of nostalgia would do me some good. Perhaps I'll be able to create some new memories here and get back into drawing. I used to have a lot of fun with art, but kind of lost that along the way. Maybe I'll even start re-reading the WC series over the holidays. Anyways, I look forward to being a part of the community and while I can't promise that I'll be as active as I was years ago, I'll definitely make sure to drop in from time to time.

Welcome to the forums, snowear! This place's always been a hit when it comes to nostalgia and I think that's mostly why new members return. I still remember the days of WCF from time to time, especially being able to visit the site once school was done. I don't miss my clunky PC though, that pc was good but also terrible.
Hopefully you'll get back into art & reading. Feel free to drop in whenever you've the time. We're a small community here but most of us have been here since the WCF days.

Thanks, Sand! It's nice to meet you. I have a lot of good memories here, so it feels good to be back. Since the holidays are coming up here pretty soon, I'll be making some art for sure. I'll try to post it when I do. ^u^
Ah, my old pc...( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)... May it rest in peace.

Oh god, that introduction was nostalgia too. I remember my clunky old PC. It was still working a year ago when we finally go rid of it. XD It was hilarious - it was always great with the Eve based forums, would crash on the other versions, but ProBoards it was fine with. So it got to start and end on the same layout. But that aside, welcome to the forums! I believe we've already started talking a bit, but I hope to see more of you!

Thank you very much! I'm enjoying being back and look forward to getting to know the community better. c:
I'm impressed, your pc lasted quite awhile. Mine has been gone for several years already. The one thing I miss about my pc was that it helped keep my room a little warmer in the winter, haha. It's weird to think about how the technology we use has changed even just in 10 or so years. I remember most people still had land lines and flip phones when I was kid. We also didn't get rid of our big, ol' cathode ray tv til' about... 2010, I think? It was a pretty exciting day when we bought our first "thin" tv. After we got it all set up, we watched "Journey to the Center of the Earth" and I was totally amazed how clear the picture was. I feel a bit spoiled now with how nice and quick our devices are. ^^'

I love getting to know the community. It's really fun. Yeah! I got it in 2009 I believe and it was the newest model then. Then it just somehow lasted until 2017-2018ish and lasted longer, but we just sold it because by then it was taking up space but it was still working. I think we gave it to someone to play older model PC games on it. Oh yes! Same, I remember that! We still have several flip-phones lying around and in working order, though we mostly just use them for playing the radio. Just wait another 20 years. All the phones will be in our glasses or contact lenses. Oh yeah! Our big TV didn't go until around 2017-2018 either! We seemed to finally come into the current century that year I guess. XD But it worked too, because all our family watch the old shows and that TV picked those up just fine.
