I know this isn't directed at me, but I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for all the Mudclaw debates that I seem to spark up on here. It's not your fault, trust me. This is an all too common thing that I'm just tired of at this point. Sometimes people will interpret things differently, and others just need to accept it and move on. Thanks, and that's true |

Onestar was the only horrible leader. Windstar was not that great either. Tallstar was great except he messed up hard with that irrational decision of his before his death. But Harestar is SUCH an awesome cat and leader...he is fair, kind, helpful, and logical, not the selfish cat Kate thinks he is for some reason. Okay, good, so Harestar hasn't been ruined?  I fear that it won't be long before he dies though sadly |

Harestar is far better than Onestar in terms of fairness, but he can also be a bit of a doormat sometimes.

I think so far right now though he's doing good, hopefully he'll stay that way going forward with the plot.

It's important to keep in mind that there are no perfect leaders. They are all individuals who make mistakes. It is entirely unfair to judge a character off of one action. Onestar was the only truly bad WindClan leader.

For the longest time I was wondering what Kate was smoking. Harestar turn evil? Really Kate? After the great reputation he has built up? And then SH came out. For the first time in his leadership, Harestar was not a saint. He threatened to take back TC's moorland because he was worried about starving in leafbare. Which is a perfectly legitimate concern, btw. They have very vulnerable young kits to worry about. I suspect that was what Kate was referring to. The guy's been a saint otherwise. And if anyone is skeptical about my conclusion, I present to you exhibit B: Quiet Rain. Before AFD came out, Kate told fans that Quiet Rain turns nasty. And sure enough, we see Quiet Rain snapping at everyone and condemning Clear Sky, while SHE IS SICK AND DYING. She was DYING Kate. Of course she's going to have less tact and patience, her mind was going. Honestly, I think Kate is part of why the fandom tends to overreact whenever a good character has a bad moment. Neither of these cats are bad, they just had a bad moment. Kate either can't or won't see that and judges them based off of this one incident, thereby influencing her young fans to do the same. |
