Shadow’s Random Writings and Prompts
About Me:
- Hello! My name is Shadow, however some of you have known me as Lynx, Chaos, or Lost. Just a little bit about me, I’m 18 and Female, and I’m usually pretty busy with school. I enjoy writing and academics, and my favorite colors include nightshade, lilac, indigo, sky blue, scarlet, and black. I’m asexual and aromantic as well, and I’m always willing to talk and listen if anyone would like to do so!
- My favorite fandoms: Miraculous, Warriors, Hunger Games, The Walking Dead, Stranger Things, and others. The ones I tend to write the most about? Hunger Games, and mostly made up worlds or characters I have, on some occasions I’ll write about Warriors, but not often.
- I’m totally willing to do requests. I ask that you leave me the liberty of characters and stuff, but it’s honestly up to you, so I don’t mind all that much. I will totally write with characters you suggest or request if you want, though. All I ask is you provide some information about the characters, and that you accept that I have creative liberty with said character. If it’s a prompt and you don’t care about the character, I may apply it to one of the many worlds myself and others have made, or use character from a real world application. I do have many fandoms I didn’t let, so if you want me to do something with a fandom, simply ask about that fandom! There’s a good chance I either am a fan, or will be after you mention it!
Commonly Used Worlds and Characters:
Hunger Games Alternate Universe:
- In this world, made up by ƤαƖƖαѕ ✧ , 𝐸𝓁𝑜𝓆𝓊𝑒𝓃𝓉𝒟𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓂𝑒𝓇 , Sparky , Leo , Hawkeyes258 , and myself, Katniss Everdeen died in the bloodbath of the 74th Hunger Games. This meant that Peeta eventually was killed off, and someone else had won the games. Thus, the second revolution never occured, and the games continued. In this world, we’ve explored two games. The 90th and 100th Games, both contain fun characters and sad characters arcs. We also made an alternate universe to the 90th Hunger Games, in which a revolution takes place during the games, freeing some tributes. I’ll explain all three bellow.
- 100th Hunger Games: The 4th Quarter Quell, the dramatic twist this year was that every tribute had a partner, one that wasn’t their District Partner, that they got to team up with. If both survived, they could both make it out of the games together. A girl by the name of Mallory won the games, but with many costs to her loved ones.
- 90th Hunger Games: 10 years prior to the 4th Quarter Quell, these games followed the winner, Burton Acton, and his many trials and hardships. These games made him into what he became, Catullus Acton, a stage puppet for President Louden in the years that followed.
The AU 90th Hunger Games: Same as the 90th Games, But with a series of changed events that caused major impacts. Starting with the death of Holly Alandria and the betrayed of Amadrya Darrow(2 girl’s who chose different paths in the games), a series of events leads to the arena opening after an arena event. Upon escaping, some of the 8 escapees are caught by Louden’s forces, and some join the budding Revolution. The series follows the 8 characters and their hardships. This is the universe most of the prompts will come from.
Clandestined:
- This World was created by me, but the characters belong to myself and those listed above(plus or minus a few). This world follows 10 individuals, some of which hold large secrets that border between life and death, and some are open books. A girl, Leonela, and her companion, a shapeshifter named Zelo, are caught in the middle of a crisis when the king and queen fall ill due to a mysterious poison that force the 10 oddballs together to find a cure. However, with a traitor in their midsts, and the many secrets they hold dear, the lines between trust and falling apart altogether are thin and fragile. If they can’t find the cure, then a prince with little experience will rule the kingdom, and the world of magic will once again die off.
OASIS:
- Created by Sparky, and joined by those listed above, plus or minus a few, OASIS follows a small group of friends who live on a spacecraft called the OASIS. When one of the friends goes missing, each of the others begins to experience odd powers, powers that come into being after an attack on the OASIS that sends the teens into a intergalactic war that they never should have been a part of. This story, like all the others, is ongoing. However, this one hasn’t made it far into the mysteries yet and most likely won’t be written about much.
Zodiac:
- Created by me, this world is still heavily in progress. Zodiac follows a fantasy world, in which magic is universally outlawed and magic users tend to be killed, even when the main governing body, the Valdera’s who make up the royal family, never give orders to kill or outlawed the magic themselves. However, a group known as the Zodiacs exist. The Zodiacs embody the Zodiac Order of the Constellations. While the Zodiacs exist, other embodiments of the other Constellations exist as well. Each person who represents a constellation has powers that relate to that constellation, and a jewel that helps them focus the powers. The Zodiacs, an order of 13 people, consist of the 12 Zodiacs(2 representing Gemini) and have the duty of protecting the Kingdom of Valdera. The prince, Merek Valdera, is a part of the Zodiac Order(a fact he hides), and one day runs into an old friend and servant who has been missing for a while, a girl who is simply called Shadow. However, the mysterious reappearance of the girl only intensifies in confusion when they learn of her amnesia and ghostlike properties, along with an odd prophesy from their Seer(Vesper, the Libra), that warns that they must find the missing Princess, a girl who was thought dead back when Merek’s grandfather attacked the old ruling family back when Merek was a child. Along with this, the group is warned of a snake in their midst, and a storm on the rise.
Prompts:
- Feel free to Request!
November Prompts if you want to write along with me!
My Challenge:
- Probably weekly, I’ll post a challenge prompt for you guys. The oneshot you use can be with characters you own or any really(including mine or characters you like), but your response must be at least 500 words long and can be as long as you please. Otherwise, get it done before the prompt deadline if there is one, and follow the prompt in some fashion! If you wish to compete, please post on here and link to your writing(you can spot it here too!). Surveys will decide on winners along with me. Usually, I’ll grade on higher Literature standards, mostly if things like tone, theme, mood, etc. are present, and since this is more for fun, I will not grade on grammar and spelling, because I make tons of mistakes (this is for fun) and that’s not going to decide who wins or really be accounted too much for unless it gets in the way of reading.
- Prompt: Eleven: Write about something to do with November, the number Eleven, the Eleventh of something, or something that relates to the number Eleven. Be creative!
