"I guess for the most part." Ivy shrugged. "He and I are both adopted and we're not blood siblings. It's kinda nice just to have se place to settle for a bit." Ivy bit her tongue. She didn't tell people that, that was too involved. She mentally kicked herself.

Tori shrugged "There isn't much to me, so what do you want to know exactly?" She asked. No one really cared about her enough to ask, so she didn't really know what to say.
Savannah was walking home from school. She was taking her normal route, the route she felt safe on and knew that people wouldn't try to talk to her. She hugged her arms around herself like normal and tried to keep her eyes low. She gazed up, to make sure no one was about to walk into her when she saw a girl. She looked saddened and alone. Just like me she thought. Savannah bit her lip. She began to walk past the girl but bumped into her causing. Savannah's books and her messenger bag to collide spilling all over. Savannah cursed under her breath beginning to pick it up quickly.

"Famous, huh? What makes you so sure I'll become famous?" Ash asked, but she played along. She took the pen from his hand and the napkin. With fancy, curly letters, she wrote out her full name. Ashton West. What a horrible name. That was the one thing that she would change about herself if she could. Her name. "And I'll even include my number so that you can text me whenever you want to hang out or if there's a party you find out about or something." She smiled at him before writing down her number underneath her name. "Just promise me that before you sell this, you'll remove my number."
"So were you both adopted, or are you guys still in foster care?" Jace asked casually. It wasn't like he would think anything less of her for either way. He still liked her and with her sharing this kind of information with him... well, he felt pretty darn special.

"I guess just tell me something no one else has bothered to ask about." Mason said with a shrug. He continued to twist his napkin around, playing with it and making little things that didn't make any sense to anyone but him. After a few more moments, he stopped playing with the napkin to look at her.
Keisha paused, clinging the strap to her own messenger bag for a moment before it registered with her what had happened. "Oh, uh... here... let me help." She mumbled as she crouched down and helped the other girl to pick up her stuff. It was awkward, it was quiet. She was exactly sure what else to say, or if she should even say anything at all. After she had gathered up a bunch of items, she stood up with the other girls' books in her arms.

Well she couldn't just shut it off now. "Our foster parents haven't signed the documents since Damon and I are adults. So we're kinda just, kinless I guess you could say. No one is claiming us." She looked over at Jace for a second.

Savannah looked at the girl who was helping her. Why was she helping? No one ever helped. Savannah bit her lip as she stood. She quietly took her books shoving it back into her bag. She would have to get a more sturdy one so it didn't happen again. "Thanks." She said so quietly she wasn't sure if the girl heard it. She bit her lip avoiding the girls gaze. "I'm sorry." She said her voice sounding quiet and almost scared. She didn't talk to a lot of people, and even though it was a girl she still felt the same nervousness as with anyone else.
Tori thought. What could she share with him? "Well... My middle name is Maria, my brother Ryder and I are really close even though it doesn't seem like it. I had a younger sister but she died, I have a scar on my leg, I have another scar on my wrist, I haven't officially dated anyone, and..." She paused And I have a secret that I'm trying to run from "And that's about it." She said finally looking at him.

{LIKE THE ONE SPENCER MENTIONED OMG LETS DO ITTTT}
Dex almost laughed in surprise. Him, a party? Was she joking? He felt his throat tighten from trying not to chuckle, struggling to hold it down. "I highly doubt I'll be attending any parties," he said while letting a small chuckle escape his mouth. "But I'm fairly familiar with gossip, and I heard there's a color bomb party tonight at some point." He had finished his muffin and checked his watch, his eyes widening in a sudden panic. "Oh, god! I'm never going to finish that marketing homework now.." He sighed deeply and closed his eyes for a moment, feeling his tense muscles begin to loosen. There was no point in doing it now, especially since he's known how to do that sort of thing for a few years now. He was way ahead of his classes, but didn't want to skip any years of school and miss out on the experience. What experience? He thought to himself. I've done absolutely nothing and I'm now a senior. His eyes fluttered open and he shrugged off the imaginary weights that had been piling up onto his shoulders. "Ah, what the hell. It's time I do something spontaneous. What do you say about going to the party with me?" He felt his fingers begin to quiver, realizing he'd never asked a girl out before. He shoved his hands underneath the table and gave her a small, awkward smile to try and play it off well. "That, is.. I mean, well, maybe not as a date, but as my.. guide." He bit his lip, realizing just how terrified he sounded. The only parties he had been to meant wear a tux and discuss business operations. Even the theme of this school party sounded.. oh brother. Hopefully she'd just say yes and keep him company for the night while he at least tried to enjoy himself.

((Yes! Party! XD I love parties... well, rping parties. Attending parties is horrible in person.))
Jace nodded his head. He wondered what it would feel like to be completely alone, to have no family but a foster sibling. Even if most of the time he felt alone and spent little time his father and sister, at least he knew he could rely on them... or at least rely on his sister. He wasn't sure what he do without Ash. "Well, that's sad. But at least you two have each other, right? At least you have someone that understands you."
Well what did you know. This girl reminded Keisha of herself. It made her sad. Was this how she appeared to others? Quiet and sad all the time? Even though she hoped it wasn't true, she knew it was. It was why people avoided her. She sucked happiness out of the air. "Uh, you're welcome." She replied, equally quiet as she held the girl's books out to her. "It's alright. Accidents happen..." she hesitated, her heart beating fast, before she said; "I'm Keisha. What's your name?"
Mason nodded his head. "Interesting, interesting. See? I already feel like I know so much more about you than did I already." He smiled at her as his phone buzzed. He looked down at it to find a random text from someone, talking about a party. A color bomb party. What was that, even?
"Color bomb party?" Ash's eyes lit up. She hadn't been to one of those before, and it sounded fun. She'd always been busy or missed them. "Ooh, yes, yes, yes! I will be your friend date!" She said, laughing and clasping her hands together. "What time does it start? Where is it at? Do you know how to get there?" Her first party at a new school with new people. This was perfect! She bounced out of her seat, grabbing her empty hot chocolate and tugging on his arm. "Come on! We have to go now! We need to get, like, white shirts and... and..." She paused for a moment with a frown. "You do wear white shirts to a color bomb, right? Do you wear white pants and shoes, or just the shirt?" Ash had to admit she didn't particularly like the idea of wearing white everything.

Savannah felt the girls eyes on her, she felt likes he was exposed, even though she had on jeans and a sweatshirt. She could feel her eyes searching over her, judging her, disapproving. She closed her eyes about to walk away, well run more but she couldn't. Her feet stayed planted. Savannah dared to look up at the girl when she spoke. "I'm Savannah." She said trying to keep her voice Steady. Why was she talking to her? No one ever did.
Tori blushed a little. "Who is that from? If it's Drake then I'll let you go." She said playing with her silver wear in her fingers a little. She didn't really care who it was from, as long as it wasn't another girl. If it was then he could expect a face full of water.

(Yasssss!)
Ivy let out a sad laugh. "Damon and I may be 'siblings' bit his reality was much different then mine." Ivy tried to keep the bitterness out of her voice. Damon hadn't been through abuse she had, lucky for him. She stopped when she heard a snort in the distance, looking at Jace with wide eyes.

Dex laughed at her excitement but almost choked on the last of his coffee once she grabbed his arm. "Er-yes, just the shirt, I believe," he said with a struggled tone. He pretty much tripped while getting up but Ash had found a way to use her womanly strength to keep him from falling form her grip. "We can go back to my house and get white shirts so you don't have to ruin something nice," he offered. He did have a few spare shirts in his closet that he never wore, but wondered what pants would even fit with that, let alone what shoes. "Screw it, let's go across the street to Michael Kors and see what they have." This time it was his turn to drag her along, feeling a bit bubbly with excitement. "C'mon, Ash, I'll pay for everything." He left a tip on their table and picked up his cookie, almost ramming into more people as he tugged her out the door.

What was Keisha doing? She hardly ever talked to people, let alone try to start conversations. But this girl reminded her of herself in a way. "Are you new here?" She asked awkwardly. A weak attempt to start a conversation, but an attempt nonetheless. She found her palms were sweaty and she was uncomfortable. How could she have missed the bus? She thought about her dog, at home waiting for her and how much she would rather be home than here, but here she was, talking, anyway.
"Uh, yeah. He got a text from some people saying there's a party. But it's a color bomb party, and I'm not sure how I feel about the idea of being colored in a bright white shirt." Mason's nose wrinkled up at the idea. "How does the coloring at a color bomb party even go?" He wondered to both himself and Tori. He shrugged and put his phone away. "But oh well, I'll stay here with you." He said with a smile.
Jace paused, eyes wide. A snort... was it a horse? He wasn't sure. He'd never been around horses before, and thus had no clue what they sounded like. But why else would Ivy look that excited? He looked at her, waiting to find out what they were supposed to do.
Ash laughed and followed after him. "Really? Are you sure? You just bought the food, though." She said as she followed along after him, still rather excited. She really did miss the days of parties every night, of hooking up with random guys, of... well, everything from her old life, really. "I can cover the cost of the shirts, if you want." She suggested. It was a little surprising to see him now excited about this whole party idea. He had been so nervous about mentioning it before, but now he seemed excited about it. "I gotta say, you almost seem more excited than me."

Savannah could feel her heart beating faster as she stayed here. People walked by them, glancing at the girls but nothing else. Even that made her nervous. She looked around her eyes darting everywhere. Jack, come on drive by and save me. Please I can't do this. she thought as she once again looked around then she looked at the girl. She could see she was nervous too, which actually made her relax a little, but not much. Savannah shook her head a little her hair falling in her face again. "No, I have lived here all my life." She said. Well... All that she could remember. They weren't born here but after her dad dumped them, which was around two months old, she had lived here. "What about you?" She asked hoping this conversation would be over soon.
Tori nodded. A color bomb party? She remember back to the last party she went to. Where the star football player kissed her, saying to call him of she ever came back. She smiled a little and then remembered her color party she went to. It was so much fun. Tori looked at Mason "A color bomb party is where you wear a white shirt, and you get colored all night. It can be done different ways but how it works is you don't leave as clean as you came." She giggled. "I love color bomb parties, or at least the one I went to." She said. "But, you were invited not me, so I respect you not going. Thanks for staying." She said feeling a little down that he didn't want to go. And she was so new that she wasn't invited so Tori would spend the night alone after Mason and her separated. She looked up as their food came. She thanked the waitress and began to eat.

Ivy put a finder to her lips and grabbed Jace's wrist quickly. She walked around the edge of a boulder slowly, bringing Jace with her. Ivy almost squealed when she saw what was ahead of them. It looked like a band of about ten horses, grazing by a pond. There were all shapes, color, and sizes. There were even foals running around.

Dex began to slow his pace so they could cross the street carefully. "Rubbish. I'll pay for the shirts, and I wouldn't say I'm excited. I'm just slightly looking forward to it." He gave her a wide smile, showing his dimples and flashy teeth; his eyes held a certain sparkle in them to show how excited he refused to admit he really was. "Michael Kors is a bit expensive, but I need sandals since all I have are dress shoes," he said a bit more loudly over the sounds of traffic. Once they came to the entrance of the store, he held the door open for her and followed her in, looking around the store in sudden interest. If he wore khakis with a white shirt, would he look like a hippie or would he just look normal? He was so used to dressing up that the thought of only wearing one simple shirt and cargo shorts seemed ridiculous. "Pick out anything you'd like. You can even buy a dress or something that you can do try on, I won't mind." He already began to drift off to the men's section, eyeing the shoe area and looking for his size in a certain style. He bent down to see if the kind he'd waanted came in tan, completely unaware that the store clerk seemed to be checking out the rear view. "Do you have these in tan?" he asked her, clearly clueless of the situation. The clerk nodded her head and encouraged him to keep looking, leaving Dex to look through the lower selves in search of his unusually large foot size.

"Oh, uh, same." Keisha replied and nervously re-ajusted her classes on her nose. "I was just asking because I've never seen you around." She mumbled and finally, just stopped talking. This conversation wasn't going anywhere. That much was obvious. Neither of them had the angry or the want to push the conversation further, so why was Keisha even attempting at something? She was better off alone, she reminded herself, people only ever managed to disappoint and disappear. That was what was to be remembered.
"Well if you want, we could go." Mason suggested as he started to eat. His stomach grumbled hungrily and he patted it. Don't worry, buddy. I'm trying to get you fed. He thought to his stomach before looking back at Tori. "It would be a good way for you to get to meet people and stuff, you know?" He would've continued speaking, but his mouth was full of food. Mason was hungry.
Jace's mouth was open in awe, and then it turned into a grin. He hadn't actually been expecting to find a horse herd way out here and seeing them filled him with happiness. Maybe this whole move hadn't been such a bad thing after all. So far, it all seemed to be good. Almost perfect.

((Yay! Party! XD))
Ash squeezed his arm with a smile. "Alright, thanks. I'll come find you in a few minutes." She said and headed off to the girls' section. Dex was nice, sweet... almost too nice and sweet. What if he ended up dating someone that just wanted him for his money, which he seemed to so freely spend? Ash pushed the thought from her mind and focused on what she needed. Despite her girly appearance and her cheerleader status, shopping wasn't exactly something Ash was skilled at or particularly enjoyed. She slipped through the racks of clothing, running her hand along the cloth. She figured that her lower clothing items would suffice -- pale gray skinny jeans and flats. Those would be fine to be worn to the party. All that she really needed was a white t-shirt, which she managed to find rather quickly. Sure, she considered getting a white dress or something along those lines to wear instead, but a shirt would fit her just fine. Ash found one in her size and then skipped off to go back and find Dex where she had last seen him wander off to, which had been the shoe section.

Tori smiled when her mouth wasn't full of food "Really?! That would be great! I'd love to go!" She smiled then began to eat again. My first party here! And with Mason! Ooo this is going to be fun! I can't wait! Maybe he will kiss me. she thought to herself as she continued to eat. She was really excited now.
Savannah nodded. She girl confirmed yet again what she already knew. No one knew about her, and no one cared to get to know her. She was difficult to talk to, she knew. The few who tried, like Keisha, grew tired of trying once they thought she was too difficult to talk to. She couldn't count how many times it's happened. Mostly it was Jack who was trying to get her friends, but all attempts failed. Savannah looked at her as she spoke "I know... I tend to blend in with everyone, I have seen you around though. Small school." She said shrugging. It was true. She had seen Keisha around the halls, but she never said anything to her. Had she wanted to when they passed by or when it was just them? Ya, but always Savannah wouldn't know what to say. "Um.. So.." She didn't know what to say. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Jacks car coming. She felt her body quiver for a moment in relief. Jack pulled up rolling down his window a smile on his face "Hey sis, you got a friend?" He smiled. "Want a ride you two?" He asked looking at the girl. Instantly he could see she was shy, and like his sister. Maybe that was good.

Ivy watched the horses with bright eyes. They were so beautiful. One of them snorted and it's head shot up. Ivy froze for a second, and iron grip of Jace's wrist. The horse whinnied and took off the herd after it. Ivy ran out from behind the boulder, practically dragging Jace. The horses looked amazing when they ran.

Mason smiled. "Great -- so let's eat real fast and then go get ready to go." His flannel was not going anywhere near a color bomb party. He wondered if maybe he could find a white flannel to wear... despite his confidence, Mason knew he would feel awkward without his flannel on. But oh well, he decided, as he called the waitress to give him the check while he tried to eat a little faster.
"Really? I didn't know that people... noticed me." Keisha replied, her eyes lighting up with surprise for a moment before turning dull once again. When Savannah's brother pulled up, Keisha's head back into a position so that her hair would fall across her face and keep it from view. "Uh, I think I'm good... maybe..." she mumbled. She actually did need a car ride home. It was getting late, and she had chores to do, and her mother still wouldn't be off work yet. But asking for a ride from a stranger? Not exactly her style. Not that she would probably get his car, anyway.
Jace yelped a bit as she tugged him along, stumbling and trying not to fall. "Well we found them!" he said, still trying to stay on his feet and appreciate the beauty of the running horses.

Savannah looked at Jack knowing he knew how close she was to breaking. She looked at the girl biting her lip. "Come on, it's the least I... Er.. We can do after I bumped into you. Plus it's getting late, I don't like walking out here by myself so I doubt you do. Jack is a good driver, please?" She asked looking at her. She knew what she would be doing, exactly what Keisha is doing. She would be freaking out, internally though. She would refuse and then, no matter how far it was, walk home because she could never get into a car with a stranger. But it was late, and she didn't want to see Keisha walk home.
Tori nodded. She ate quickly knowing she would need to go and change. She obviously wasn't wearing nice clothes to this. She thought about what to wear. She went through her closest in her head, she and a white spaghetti strap tank top that was old, she could wear that. With some skinny jeans and... Some black shoes. Or white, ooo yes. She finished eating and took the bill. Before he could say anything she paid for them both handing they waitress the bill with the money. "Alright, so your place or my place first?" She asked

Dex had finally found a pair of shoes but was still accompanied by the store clerk when he caught sight of Ash. "Hey, found a shirt?" he asked with a smile. He picked up his shoes from the floor and glanced over at the clerk with a look of concern as he walked over to Ash. "I'm a bit scared at the moment. That lady never left my side ever since I came into the store." He frowned slightly, clueless as to why someone would think he'd need that much help with a pair of shoes. "I grabbed a shirt on my way over, so I guess we're done here." He began to lead the way over to the checkout line that was about 10 transactions long. He sighed impatiently when that same store clerk waved him over to her empty register. Since he wasn't the next in line, he tapped on the shoulder of the person in front of them and pointed in her direction. The store clerk made an irritaed face but kept a strained smile toward the customer he sent over to her. "She seems friendly," he said with a soft smirk.

((I'm on my phone and eating, so these will be short and I may be slow. I apologize.))
Keisha hesitated for a moment before she sighed. "Fine," she mumbled, "I guess I can get a ride." She squeezed the messenger bag strap even tighter. Look at her, living wild and accepting rides.
Mason was going to protest about her paying, but gave up. "Your house. I'll just text Drake and ask him to bring one of my shirts. I can change when we get there." He said as he took one last sip of his Pepsi, draining the cup.
"Is it everything you dreamed it would be?" Jace asked with a grin. It was certainly more than he had dreamed.
Ash laughed, touching Dex's arm. "Nice or flirty?" She clarified and looked back at the cashier. She wasn't too bad looking, but she was certainly desperate. In a moment, they were going to have to go over there to check out. "So, if you want her number, I'll stand back and let her know I'm just a friend." Ash suggested, looking up at Dex. "Or, I can act like your girlfriend. Trust me. I can make it look believable."
