Oh, nice! I'm glad you were able to find inspiration! Was it a Charlie Chaplin film? I don't think I've ever actually seen any before. Bits and pieces inside other movies, I think, but never any on their own. Good luck!

Nah. It was a silent film called Destiny. Made in Germany (which has the title Der Mude Tod there.) It was quite an interesting film for my literature inclined brain. :3

Huuum. Both? Things have changed a fair bit, but the core plot is the same.
Der Mude Tod means 'the tired Death' or possibly just 'Tired Death' - I'm not sure why they changed the title three times. The original English title was Behind the Wall.

After not being able to write for an entire month, I was finally able to sit down Wednesday from 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm to write. So yay<33333
I have been dying to write some more since then (the only reason I had to stop on Wed. was because I was tired & had to sleep), but every day I get home, I have no energy ):

Today marks the fist day of NaNo! Don't know if I'll get anything done b/c I'm just so tired. But, hey, it's writing month (:

I did neatly 3k today. I'm actually not that badly behind today. I was struggling so much, and then I wrote Nyx and that just stole all my muse.

Awesome! What is your word goal for this NaNo? Or, rather, do you have one? My goal, again, is just to write. Ideally, I think it would be cool to get to like 40,000 - 50,000 or something. But I don't think that will happen because it's more of just a 'hey, wouldn't that be cool' rather than me being like 'gotta get to this word count, go go go!' XD ^^" I'll have to read the short stories at some point! Is Nyx one of those short stories? |
