I saw improvements but also the poem lost its original meaning and purpose. It was still a good poem, but it no longer felt like it had what I wanted behind it.
I wonder if I'd had more time if I would have been able to have a balance. Ah well. For the future.
As another note, Camp NaNo is coming up next month!

Oh, that stinks D: But I actually agree with you there on something similar. In my AP Lit class, we had to analyze poems like... really deeply & do an entire presentation on them. And by the time you got done analyzing it and ripping it apart, it no longer seemed the same. Like, sometimes the mystery to it is what makes it beautiful. Sometimes you're not supposed to understand it 100% o:
Good!! I don't exactly know what Camp NaNo is, but this is good b/c it'll give me another excuse to write even if I'm way past tired so that I can reach my goals.
So, speaking of which, I never understood what Camp NaNo was... so what is it? XD

Camp NaNo is essentially NaNo but you get to pick your own goal instead of being stuck at 50k as the goal. ^^ |

I'm not sure what my wordcount goal will be for this Camp NaNo, but I'm going to try to use it to finish up one of my ongoing projects.

Yeeeeeee. But it's fine! If anything, the peer review is teaching me some good things.  And Winter Lily explained! I usually aim for 25k, which means I usually finish my fan fic that I'm currently working on. //points at Land Which Stands Divided// Guess what I'm working on? XD |

I'm doing a mixed bag of what I'm writing this Camp, I decided. I'm going to be doing 3 to 4 things: Writing for The Land Which Stands Divided, Fire at Will (still have to finish it), Last of the Real Ones (be a deviant, do something other than write. XD ), and work on the fic I'm co-doing with Sapphire.

I'll join Camp NaNoWriMo too; I'm planning on working on a project I've been putting off for a while now (a fantasy book about wolves) and maybe I'll work a bit on revising my NaNoWriMo 2019 novel.

Comic is DW. The Cloudstar's Journey rewrite is what happens if a different clan was forced out of the forest. The Feathertail one is 'what if Feathertail didn't die ... but Squirrelpaw did.'
