I was thinking, who will give Alderpaw his full medicine cat name? Jayfeather? Or will Leafpool come back to ThunderClan after he rogues attack ShadowClan?
I personally want Jayfeather to give him his name. Maybe they could bond in TaS, maybe not.
What do you think?

Alderpaw's full name was already revealed in the Shattered Sky blurb. I'm not particularly fond of it tbh. But seeing as Leafpool is in ShadowClan (and may possibly die during the attack), I'm going to guess Jayfeather names him.

i read the apprentice's quest but i dont remember that happening? does it happen in the next book?

Most likely Jayfeather, since the prevailing theory is that Leafpool dies when ShadowClan is attacked.
As for Jay and Alder starting to bond, I do think they were starting to get along when they were treating the WindClan cats. But that may have just been that Jayfeather was too busy to be cross.

I kinda want Leafpool to name Alderpaw. Though both Leafpool and Jayfeather are Alderpaw's mentors, Alderpaw has always seemed to attach to Leafpool more- and Jayfeather is more of a co-worker to him- and quite frankly they don't have the best relationship.
Unless Alderpaw and Jayfeather get closer in Thunder and Shadow- which could possibly happen, and in the end, Alderpaw might have no problem with Jayfeather giving him his name- or might even prefer having Jayfeather name him. It's only been one book- so who knows how their relationship will turn out.

From what I read of the sneak peak Jayfeather and Alderpaw get along with each other on and off I wouldn't mind Jayfeather giving Alderpaw his Full medicine cat name. Jayfeather and Alderpaw are forming small bond but it's a start. Because at the end of the sneak peak I believe Jayfeather lets Alderpaw go back to Shadowclan after the skirmish with the rogues and Windclan was fighting on Thunderclan land once they scented the rogoes Thunderclan jumped in to help one Windclan Warrior dies Onestar lost a life Jayfeather explains this to Alderpaw and Two Windclan Warriors badly injured. That Had to stay in Thunderclan to be cared for. Alderpaw goes with the group to shadowclan to check on Leafpool and Violetkit.While Onestar and a group of thunderclan Warriors to help transport the dead Warrior back to Windclan. |
