(Note: I was inspired by the amazing Basement Cat to write a spoof, so go read Dark Forest: Behind The Scenes before you read this.)

Mapleshade: Mapleshade is a thick-furred, sturdy, tortoiseshell and white she-cat, with amber eyes. She is sarcastic and sharp tongued, and she is the unofficial leader of the Mentoring Program in the Dark Forest.
Ivypaw: A small, thin apprentice with silver and white tabby fur, and dark blue eyes. She idolizes Mapleshade, and hopes to be like her when she is a warrior,
