Way back in 201x, I left what I thought was a fairly nice eulogy for old the forum, with the promise never again to log on (there was maybe a week to go). Well, I just can't leave well enough alone and I'm a sucker for nostalgia. One thing led to another, and I searched my old username. Somebody (at least, as of three years ago) remembered me! I guess I'm a sucker for that sort of thing to. Mind, it was a third of the way down a 248-person long list, but I take what I can get these days. Everybody here has had the good grace not to take the name, so I thought I'd occupy it for a bit.
I don't know how long I'll last here. I see the rules don't ban politics, which is a dangerous temptation into dangerous waters for me. All the same, forums for me are what old houses and land are for folks who grew off away from a computer, and so I'm drawn here and compelled to monologue about good old days.
And if any of you know Moonfire74, she'll be muckle amused to know I've now seen the first two-and-a-half seasons of TNG.
