Any thoughts on the family so far?

I love Tree and Needlepaw so far. As for the other two, I never cared much for Violetshine, and Rootpaw's alright I guess.

Understandable. While I love Violetshine and Needlepaw,Rootpaw and Tree are okay,I don't like how Rootpaw treats his dad however.

I love them, but Rootpaw needs to chill with his daddy issues.

And Violetshine acted like a brat when Twigbranch didn't think that SkyClan was where she belonged. She was okay when she was a kit, though.

As much as I love Violetshine and her character arc, I agree with this. While I understand why Violetshine acted like she did, she still had to understand that Twigbranch hadn't moved from ShadowClan to SkyClan, but from ThunderClan to SkyClan. Their circumstances were extremely different, and it made sense that Twigbranch wanted to leave SkyClan since she grew to care about her adopted family in ThunderClan, and leaving them momentarily helped her realize that. Rootpaw's treatment of Tree bugs me too. I don't expect them to be all loving towards each other and it's understandable that they don't have the closest bond, but Rootpaw doesn't seem to have any respect at all for Tree, and only when Tree does something that Rootpaw thinks is "normal" is Tree a decent cat.

Another reason why I prefer Needlepaw over Rootpaw. Needlepaw admires her father and even sometimes looks up to him and her mother, but Rootpaw always views Tree as weird, and then thinks Violetshine is weird because of her reaction to Needletail being mentioned.

I like them.
I like that Violetshine is a great mother and has a caring mate with great children.
I like that Tree is adjusting to clan life for his family's sake but still has an open mind.
I like that Needlepaw is a supportive sister but kinda quirky in a fun way.
And I like Rootpaw's woes as a character, so far his abilities are interesting and his plot position is probably my second fav of the three. I'm very excited to see him work together with the real Bramblestar and trying to get his body back.
I also like that this family communicates with one another and compromise, instead of doing the cliche misunderstanding and nothing but drama ensues. This is a nice change of pace for once. Overall, pretty darn great, especially compared to past hiccups and other horrid families.

I like Rootoaw. To the people complaining about him and the way he is with his dad. He’s basically a teenager. He will more then likely outgrow it.

I realize that, it's just that...he's much more obnoxious about it in his POV. Almost every single thought seems to be about separating himself from his father and being a good warrior, and it feels like most of his motives are because he doesn't want to seem like Tree.
