Introduction
You are walking in the forest, panting, the environment was strange, some parts nice and soft with leaves, others with harsh rocks and harsh streams and rivers, and sometimes calm ponds. It smelled of many strange animals. It was dangerous to travel, but you’d been lost for days, your only choice was to follow a river, hoping to find sanctuary.
As you finally take a rest, in a seemingly safe spot, you close your eyes. Only to be woken up by whispers. “Who is it?” “Are they dangerous?” “How could they’ve survived?” “Shhh! Quiet! Berrypaw you’re blowing our cover!” Soon a lithe and beautiful calico She cat walks towards you. You blink your eyes in confusion. “My name is Splashstar I am the leader of Mountainclan.” She says, her vivid green eyes seem to pierce you, right don’t to your core. “You’re lucky we found you. A coyote was stalking you.” She meows. “We can’t leave you out here, so whether you like it or not you’re coming with us.” She says, soon turning around and heading into the thick bush.
After a few days of getting to know the clan, and recovering, Splashstar takes you to her den. “Hello, it has come to my attention that you are better, and are ready to travel.” She meows. “But, I see my clan has grown attached to you.” She adds. “So, would you like to join, become a full member of my clan? If not, I wish you well.” You look at splashstar sincerely, and your eyes filled with emotion. “Of course I’ll stay!”

MountainClan is a clan that lives by a mountain. Their territory extends a little ways up the mountain and around some of it.
Mountainclan Cats are built many ways. Lithe runners for hunting, and big thick-set builds for climbing. Their pelts are mainly calicos, tabby’s, orange tabby’s, and light browns.
Rules
1. Follow forum Rules. Pretty basic, should be easy.
2. Be kind and courteous. I will not allow or tolerate rudeness or disrespect.
3. Please put ‘lé food’ in your joining form
4. Keep it P.G-13 though a little bit of gore is fine. Please use the ‘Skip’ button for mating scenes.
5. Please don’t join as your own mate, and please let at least some of your cats open for relationships.
6. Respect. Please respect others.
7. It does have to be a paragraph, but please write at least 3 sentences, and try your best to keep the grammar good. As long as it’s not like ‘Russetfoot is ate food.’
8. Improvising because my o.c.d is telling me to have 10 rules.
9. 3 strikes, you get three strikes before you’re banned from this clan for at least 3 weeks

-Snake Rocks- a Very rocky spot located a little ways up the mountain, cats usually hike there with the company of a guard, it contains many valuable herbs but is dangerous because it’s filled with snakes.
-Berry Meadow - A small meadow filled with many berry bushes. It is dangerous during newleaf and leaf fall because of bears. It also hold herbs.
-Jack rabbit Meadow- a small meadow filled with jackrabbits, deer, and sometimes elks. It is a great hunting spot.
-Owl grove - A large grove filled with moss and has a small stream running through the middle. It is great for grabbing bedding and is good for fetching water nearby. Though it’s dangerous for young apprentices and kits, as owls live there.
-Training shore - a great place to train for both hunter apprentices’, guard apprentices’, and medicine cat apprentices’. It has a slippery rocky shore that simulates climbing rocks for the guards, a long line of grass for hunters to practice hunting mice, and has some common herbs for the medicine cats to memorize the herbs.
Camp
A small clearing that rests against the mountain, some tunnels go into the mountains and serve as shelter during landslides.
-Elders den- it’s closest to one of the tunnels in case they need to head inside quickly for shelter.
-Leaders den- it’s at the very entrance of the camp to ensure the leader sees any landslide or dangers near camp.
-Warriors den- it is by the leaders den for the same reason.
-Hunter den- it’s beside the nursery beside the leaders den.
-Nursery - it’s resting against the mountain and is at the second tunnel entrance for quick escape
-medicine cat den - it’s beside the elders den and the warriors den.
-Apprentice den- it’s in the middle of camp and has two sections, one for warriors, one for hunters.

The Code
The Clan cat code is as follows
1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
3. Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices, hunters, and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior, hunter or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires, or is exiled.
9. After the death, retirement, promotion (to a leader status), or exile of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
10. A Gathering of all Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
12. No warrior or hunter can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
13. An honorable warrior or hunter does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless they are outside the Clan code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
14. A Clan cat rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
15. Each Clan has the right to be proud and independent, but in times of trouble they must forget their boundaries and fight side by side to protect the Clans. Each Clan must help the others so that no Clan will fall
