After the Scion defeated Malistaire, Morganthe, Grandfather Spider and the Aether Titan, the worlds of the Spiral have been at peace. Wizards are seen as heroes, saviors of the Spiral. However, decades after all these epic battles have gone down, wizards are going missing! The best of the best are getting killed or going missing, and that leaves the younger wizards to once again take up the gauntlet and save their elder wizards! And the Scion is nowhere to be found! Who could be behind all of this though? And why? Why does someone need such powerful wizards, and will the younger ones be able to stop them?

Schools The School of Fire“If the Mind is like a candle, the Heart is like the sun.”
Fire is passion, the bright, burning flame of raw emotion sweeping over everything. Those who follow the School of Fire, known as Pyromancers, are tempestuous, quick to anger, and consumed by whatever drives them at that moment. They tend to walk a fine line, having great passion and enthusiasm for one’s loves in life is good, but watch out! Passion can burn you up and consume you, leaving nothing but a charred husk of your former self. Pyromancers use Incantations to dominate and convince Fire creatures to do their bidding.
Fire Magic traces its origins back to the fierce Fire Dragons, the race of Titans that ruled the land in the Days Before.
School of Ice“. . . with Persistence, Victory is assured.” Ice Magic is all about persistence, slow but steady progression and advancement, like the great glaciers forever sliding across the landscape. Those who embrace the power of Ice, known as Thaumaturges, exhibit great patience and strength, but as a result they sometimes become rigid and inflexible. Thaumaturges use Chants to bargain or plead with Ice creatures to serve them.
Ice Magic has its origins in the great Ice Giants, a race of Titans that built massive castles in the sky in the Days Before. School of Myth“To control the Future, one must look to the Past.” Myth is imagination. The power of the mind, and everything it can create, drives Myth Magic. It is illusion and dreams made real. If the Wizard can conceive it, it can be brought forth and even brought to life. Beware, though, for when imagination becomes too fanciful and whimsical, dreams can escape control and run wild. Wizards of the Myth School, known as Conjurers, use Naming to summon beasts of legend by memorizing and calling out their True Name.
Myth dwells between Fire and Ice, for that is where the shadows lie, and Myths are the shadowy forms of thought made real. School of Storm“That which can be imagined, can be achieved.” Storm Magic is all about creativity. It represents that flash of insight, or the spark of inspiration that makes you yell, "Eureka!" It is about the pleasure of catching lightning in a bottle. Wizards that embrace the School of Storm, known as Diviners, are driven by the thrill of investigation and discovery, the joys of invention and ingenuity, the power of creating and building. The drawback to such pursuits is the tendency to get lost in the maze of thoughts and being paralyzed to make a decision. Diviners use Verses to charm, enthrall or hypnotize creatures to help them.
Storm Magic has roots in the power of the majestic Tritons, the race of Titans that ruled the seas in the Days Before. School of Life"As we have been Created, so must we Create." Life is spirit, the force of awareness and existence. It is about constant growth and movement. Practitioners of Life Magic, known as Theurgists, are positive, enthusiastic people who seek to appreciate the simple pleasures. At times, however, they can be too flighty or frivolous when circumstances demand otherwise. Theurgists use Songs to breathe life and spirit into a vessel. Unlike other magic, which relies on summoning, coercing or beseeching, Life Magic harnesses the power of the Song of Creation to create something new. Scholars believe that Theurgy channels the tapestry of music from which the Spiral was created, and that in echoing portions of the great symphony, a Wizard can bring forth and create Life where none previously existed.
Life Magic rests between Fire and Storms, for the spark of Life comes from those two forces. School of Death“Timor mortis conturbat me.” (The Fear of Death Confounds Me) Death is about ending and closure. All things pass eventually, and time cannot be held back forever. Wizards devoted to Death Magic, known as Necromancers, understand this fact about everything around them and strive to face it without fear. They try to make the most of their time. Beware, though; some Wizards become morbid or try to cheat death through undeath. Necromancers use Whispers to strengthen their will, and draw on the power of courage to channel their own fears out of themselves and at their opponents.
Death Magic sits between Ice and Storms, for the cold energy of undeath draws on those two forces. School of Balance“Eye of Newt, and Toe of Frog, Wool of Bat, and Tongue of Dog.” The Magic of Balance is harmony and finding equality in all things. It draws on elements from each of the other schools, incorporating bits and pieces of those other energies to fill in the spaces between the Schools. Wizards who focus on Balance Magic, known as Sorcerers, are broad-minded. In their minds, all things deserve consideration, and there may be many answers to a single question. The drawback to this point of view, is a tendency to seem impassive or indecisive and never willing to embrace a side or position. Sorcerers use Transmutation to blend the forces of the other schools for their spells.
Sorcery does not draw upon internal aspects of the caster, nor does it rely on external forces. Instead, it is the creation of something new by combining elements in unique and powerful ways.
Lore History Creation & The First World Sometime before all recorded history, the Creator created the universe. The most prominent planet was the First World, and in the center of the First World was Bartleby. His sister, Grandmother Raven, gave him the Eyes of Time; the Eye of History and the Eye of the Future, in order for him to be able to see into the past and into the future. Other than Raven and Bartleby there was a third ancient being, known as Grandfather Spider. Spider created the Grand Prophecy, which told the eventual fate of the First World. Grandmother Raven didn't like the sound of his prophecy and saw it as a threat, so she fought him and locked him away in the dark abyss known as the Black Hole.
The Titan War & End of the First World After everything became calm, Bartleby sang the Song of Creation, which put three types of Titans into existence; the Dragons, the rulers of the Earth, the Giants, the rulers of the Sky, and the Tritons, the rulers of the Sea. These three elder races later became the basis for Ravenwood School of Magical Arts' schools of Fire, Ice, and Storm. They didn't get along, and the problems only continued. The Giants stole water from the Tritons' Sea to build their castles of ice, the Tritons battered the Dragon's Earth with endless storms, and the Dragons summoned fires to melt the Giants' ice castles. The Titans just couldn't stop fighting, and so the Titan War begun. They eventually broke all of the First World into many fragments that went flying into the cosmos.
Creation of the Spiral Grandmother Raven and Bartleby came up with a solution to patch all the fragments of the First World together using Raven's magic, Bartleby's roots, and the Sky Anchor to put all the pieces into a single galaxy they called the Spiral, bound by an unbreakable Borealis Seam.
Due to the Titan's destruction of the First World, Bartleby put them all into eternal sleep. Grandfather Spider at that same time began to conjure up darkness that he would one day release onto the Spiral for putting him away.
Foundation of Wizard City & Ravenwood Sometime after, Merle Ambrose was travelling through the Spiral and came across Bartleby. The two of them quickly became friends, and they decided to found Wizard City and Ravenwood School of Magical Arts as a way for young wizards to learn magic.
Duels/BattlesWhen a controlled battle occurs, a sort of circle will appear for the participants. This is called the Spiral. There are eight spots on the Spiral, four max for each team/side. The Spiral moved quickly though, giving each individual very little time to pick which spell they are going to cast, and once everyone is decided, you only get moments to start the casting, which usually is only a few movements, or else the Spiral will skip you and move on to allow the next person to cast. One would think taking turns would be slow, but as stated the Spiral moves quickly and so must the fighters. The more experienced a fighter is, the faster they can cast strong spells. Younger or inexperienced Wizards must start out with small spells to allow their energy you build up. DecksThe way cards work is explained later on, but here's the explanation for decks. Most Wizards can't directly summon creatures or spells on their own, so they use the cards as a medium, and cards are carried in decks. It's a sort of mental enchantment to where the Wizard knows what they have and much of it they have, as beginner decks only allow two or three duplicated of a card while the deck of an advanced Wizard allows many more, as well as many cards period to be processed in their mind. When the card they want has been chosen, it will be brought forth into material form to be set into casting. TitlesThese are earned based on experience. There's no tests or anything to pass, as one simply earns the title by being acknowledged as such by elder Wizards. - Initiate: New trainees, usually around 13 to 14 years of age
- Journeyman: Some experience, most lower year students
- Magus: Higher year students
- Master: What most students will be by the time they graduate from Ravenwood. Most will be around 18 or 19 when they reach this level.
- Legendary: Technically still just Master level, and a ways under Grandmaster, these Wizards are more dominant in arena and entertainment battles. Still serious fights, but nothing like a real battle outside of arenas. Really just popular Master level Wizards.
Essentially just PvP masters who fight for status xD - Grandmaster: Grandmasters are the ones who travel and learn regularly after graduation, a good portion of Wizards never really exceeding this title in their lifetime.
- Exalted: Rare Wizards who are a little older, usually in their later thirties at the grinding least, but younger Exalted Wizards are possible
- Prodigious: The highest tier among Wizards, insanely rarer than an Exalted Wizard and are the best at their craft
- Scion: Essentially the Godzilla of Wizard101. The "Alpha Wizard", whom all respect and most creatures quake in their presence. An entirely different tier of power and magic, the Scion fights the truly terrifying creatures to keep the world of the Spiral safe. The Scion is a Thaumaturge named Scylla.
ProfessorsThese Wizards are usually Grandmasters, maybe even Exalted. They teach their students the history of the Spiral, magic, certain spells and how to duel, but they do offer the chance to go on quests to acquire the knowledge or card for a new spell. These are usually difficult adventures though, as in most cases the Professor will not go with the students. - Fire Professor: Ligach Amberclaws
- Ice Professor: (Open)
- Myth Professor: (Open)
- Storm Professor: Reginald Flash
- Life Professor: (Open)
- Death Professor: (Open)
- Balance Professor: (Open)

Spells A Wizard at Ravenwood must learn all the spells that the professor of their Primary School offers, it is up to the student whether or not they learn any other spells. Very few Wizards can straight up summon creatures, as the magic of even minor spells is too much for the body to handle. So, most Wizards use Cards as mediums and draw upon the power from the cards, their casting agent and themselves, in doing so using up the card. Regular cards are permanent to a deck, with one use of a card per battle, though duplicate cards can be in the same deck. Treasure Cards are regular ones on steroids though, and can only be used once period. And as long as the duel is held in the Spiral, example shown below, the damage done is more of an "illusion" and not exactly physical lest everyone be severely injured on the first hit xD (Video of what spellcasting would look like, credit to Kingsisle and Wizard101) Fire Spells (Ravenwood)Pyromancers use Incantations to activate their cards. Locations Some locations have the direct image, some have the link to the webpage cause they refused to show here xD It takes you directly to the image so you don't have scroll, and all you need to do is look at the map, don't click anything else cause you don't need to! :3 Wizard CityWizard City is at the center of all things. The entire city has sprouted up around Bartleby, the World Tree. Bartleby protects all worlds by eternally maintaining a connection to them along the Spiral. Wizard City is home to the Ravenwood School of Magical Arts and its esteemed faculty of renowned Wizards. All Wizards get their start in learning about magic and choosing a specific class at this historic institution. Recently, a shadow has crept over Wizard City and Umbra Shadelight, Headmistress of Ravenwood, has begun her search to find courageous young Wizards who can save Wizard City and the Spiral. GrizzleheimGrizzleheim is based on Norse Mythology. The world is home to Bears, Wolves and Ravens as the major races, but also the savage Wildclaws, primal Boars, and the feared Grendels. A notable journey long ago was to restore order to Grizzlehiem and stop The Coven, a band of ravens who want to bring on a frozen Armageddon that would turn the spiral into a frozen wasteland. - Wintertusk
Before the peace, the Coven again attempted to bring about the Everwinter by awakening The Frost Titan. Wizards worked with Grandmother Raven and other residents of the area to keep the Frost Titan asleep and stop The Coven's plans.
Wintertusk includes new creature classes and new subspecies of creatures. These include the tribes of Goblins, the sons of Ymir, and new versions of creature classes including the Female Bears (Valkyries), Female Ravens, and more hulkish versions of Trolls.
KrokotopiaKrokotopia is an ancient land of forgotten treasures. In this place, deserts surround the life-giving oasis in the shadow of towering pyramids. Krokotopia is currently home to the Kroks and Manders. Occasionally, the canines of Marleybone can be seen here excavating ruins in search of artifacts for their museums. Krokotopia was once the home mainly of the peaceful Manders. When the floating world islands of the Kroks approached this world, the Manders took in the desperate and displaced Kroks. However, the Kroks took advantage of the Manders' hospitality and enslaved them, becoming the ruling class of Krokotopia. A small group of benevolent Kroks, the Order of the Fang, disapproved of this and wrote the Krokonomicon, a book of powerful magic that put the majority of Kroks into a Great Sleep. Centuries later, Professor Winthrop's archeological team arrived from Marleybone to excavate the Pyramid of the Sun, and in doing so, accidentally woke the Tuts, who quickly re-enslaved the Manders and took over once again. WysteriaLink to image of Wysteria MapWith pigs as the main race here, Wysteria was once a trade post and pleasant enough small town in the Wizard City cluster, not too far away but of little consequence in the overall scheme of things, until a magical incident occurred that caused a crawling vine to grow and completely overrun the town. MarleyboneMarleybone is the home of dogs, cats, rats, and proper manners based loosely on a combination of 19th century London and America, and named after a section of London called Marylebone. This city World has all the trappings of a modern society built upon scientific foundations. Big Ben, Scotland Yard, and the Royal Museum are some of the most famous sights in Marleybone. Beware of Marleybone at night however, when the name, "Meowiarty," is whispered in hushed tones. It is also rumored that roving cat and rat gangs litter the rooftops and steal many of the city's precious valuables. MooShuMooShu, based on Feudal-Japan, is a beautiful land with a rich, deep history. Full trees, carefully maintained gardens, and tall mountains can be found everywhere. Although this is a place of knowledge and tradition, there is a great mystery here. It is home to both the honorable Samoorai as well as the sneaky Ninja Pigs. For some time, there has been peace. Recently, though, the Emperor has taken too much and the ninja pigs have risen again to stir up trouble in MooShu. But an even more powerful, mysterious enemy dwell to cause trouble: the evil elephant Oni demons. DragonspyreDragonspyre is an ancient, haunted world. Once an advanced society of militaristic wizards and warriors, Dragonspyre had an esteemed Academy rivaling that of the Ravenwood School of Magical Arts in Wizard City. The inhabitants held a special interest in Fire Magic. Legend has it that in the summoning of a great Dragon Titan, the world was changed forever. Its great buildings and stone columns crumbled before the coming of the Dragon Titan. Now, it has become a land of fire, lava, dragons, and ghosts. CelestiaLong ago, the astral wizards of Celestia created powerful magic using the energy of the stars, the moon, and the sun. The sorceress Morganthe, a queen of the shadow web, wanted the secrets of the Celestian magic... at all costs. The Celestians refused her, so she raised a dark army and sent it against Celestia. After decades of battle, the Astral Wizards realized their world would fall. They summoned a Storm Titan to defeat Morganthe’s legions and to take their world to a place of safety. The Storm Titan betrayed the Celestians by sinking their world beneath the waves along with Morganthe’s invading forces. Realizing they were doomed, the Celestians raised mighty domes to protect some of their treasured city from the waves, though it was too late! They perished along with Morganthe's invading army. Celestia was lost to the Spiral, its spiral door closed forever. Centuries later, a team of brave explorers from the spiral geographic society, led by Sir Thurston Plunkett, re-discovered Celestia. They landed with an airship and built exploratory undersea domes to explore Celestia’s ruins. Plunkett and his fellow explorers soon realized that Celestia was now inhabited by a strange new culture... the crustacean empire. Unfortunately, the explorers did not come alone to Celestia. Morganthe’s followers, the shadow weavers, stood ready to take Celestia’s magic for their Queen. After receiving the Spiral Geographic Society’s distress call, Headmaster Ambrose of the Ravenwood School for Magic sought any Wizards brave enough to journey to the undersea world of Celestia and discover the secrets of its lost magic. ZafariaLink to image of Zafaria MapBeware, while it is a lush and vibrant land, Zafaria was once the home of Morganthe and even still her former agents sow the seeds of chaos. As war threatens to sweep over the grasslands and penetrate deep into the jungles of Zafaria, Morganthe plotted to recover the heart of her lost power, and fulfill the words of the prophecy. Long ago Zafaria was the home of Morganthe, but a Council of Wizards broke her power and buried her wand. They thought her dead until her recent reappearance a ways back, only to be defeated by wizards. The world of Zafaria is old, but until recently has been cut off from the Spiral. It is a world of endless grasslands; dense, colorful jungles; and spectacular vistas. Baobab is the spiritual and cultural center of the world – a city built in and around the eponymous Tree of Life. AvalonLink to image of Avalon MapAvalon is the silver city, a medieval fantasy world of knights, goblins, giants, and dragons. Merle Ambrose was born here, and gained a reputation as a fierce Wizard. Merle helped the young warrior-bear Artorius become king of Avalon. However, once King Artorius fell in the final battle slaying his archrival, Malory, Merle decided it was time to leave Avalon – Merle left to found Ravenwood School of Magical Arts and teach magic to any Wizard who wanted to learn it in the Spiral. AztecaLink to image of Azteca MapAzteca is home to the Aztecosaurs; the oldest race in the Spiral. Long believed to have been lost, this world now lives in peril of being destroyed... KhrysalisLink to image of Khrysalis MapStill confident from her victory in Azteca, Morganthe had dragged the souls of the oldest Aztecosaurs to her dark tower to assemble the Celestial Choir in her place of power. She tried use their primal song to rewrite the Spiral in her image. The Council of Light, that ancient assembly under the leadership of Merle Ambrose, knew it had precious little time to act. Merle gathered what was left of the council – the Emperor of MooShu, Diego the Duelmaster and Lydia Greyrose – and they come up with a desperate plan: arm the Wizards and send them into the spider’s fangs. The call to action was upon them! Morganthe has created an eldritch ward to hold back her ancient enemies. But the Council of Light believed the heroic Wizards could use trickery and willpower to slip through her defenses, in their last, best hope to shatter her plans. They were called upon to travel to a small Spiral island, a fragment of a broken world lost to time. From the edge of this island, one can see the dark swirl of Khrysalis. They explored Morganthe's world, searching for ways to disrupt her power, help those pinned down under the weight of her tyranny, and learn the secrets of her magic in order to have a chance of restoring the Spiral. PolarisLink to image of Polaris MapGet ready to venture into the frozen north of Polaris. Bartleby had once fallen ill, and wizards had to seek out the source of his illness before it was too late! Along the way they got to meet the Pingouins, who were once under the tyrannical rule of Empress Antuskette. They joined the Revolution and found the influence that has driven the Empress to such extremes, searching for a Wizard powerful enough to help them find the source of the foul magic that has fallen upon Bartleby. ArcanumLink to image of Arcanum MapContinue your magical studies with the ancient scholars of the Arcanum. Meet new professors, ready to impart their knowledge upon Wizards who reach a high enough tier. MirageLink to image of Mirage MapStep into Mirage, a world of shifting sands and shifting allegiances, where ancient treasures and ancient dangers were buried in the hope they might never again see the light of day. EmpyreaLink to image of Empyrea MapThe center of the Spiral, Empyrea, was painstakingly created by Raven to keep the Chaos Heart safe and Spider out. In fact, it was designed to keep pretty much everyone out. The Chaos Heart sits at the center of Empyrea, secured by three great Paradox Chains, and serves as the anchor point to a world comprised of disparate lands inhabited by diverse beings. Raven enveloped Empyrea in a violent storm the likes of which even she cannot pass or see through. You see, Raven has known from the beginning that Spider reclaiming his Chaos Heart would spell an end to the Spiral she lovingly created. However, the brilliant minds of the Arcanum had a plan. Well, more specifically, they have a few Wizards.

Thunderstorms sounded throughout his dorm room as Wolf woke with a peaceful look on his face. He always loved to hear thunderstorms in the morning, but something was still missing. He pushed his covers back before sliding out of bed and switched on the flame lamp sitting on a bedside table. He wished more than anything to get out of the dorm rooms at Ravenwood, but with many wizards disappearing he doubted that a new home would be any discussions.
That's it! The missing wizards and witches, a grim topic that loomed over the Spiral, kind of like Gobbler King towering over Colossus Boulevard castle. Wolf let loose a sigh as he got dressed in his signature look of a Storm school hoodie, khaki shorts, and sandals. He picked up his wand, a trident that hung up on the wall next to his bed and used a small quick spell to shrink the trident to fork size. He twirled it once with his fingers before sliding it into his hoodie pocket and headed out of the dorms.
Wolf strolled out through the dorms entrance, glancing around at the various school buildings surrounding Bartleby. He smiled over at his main study of magic, the Storm School. If there was one place he always felt he belonged, it was inside the classroom with Professor Flash. He admired the man for multiple reasons especially when he conducted fun experiments together with his students. He leaned against a short wall, watching others roam throughout the school yards.

Good thing it was a weekend, or else Hein would have been in trouble for sleeping in. Sighing, he sat up from his bed, yawning to reveal his sharp teeth. Getting out of bed, he made sure to dress and clean his fur before grabbing his lyre. Strumming a soft tune, he smiled a little as he left his home, which was actually still in Grizzleheim. Good thing he had a World Door, or else he wouldn't be able to attend classes! Well, there was a World Door in Northguard, but he didn't want to have to make the walk. Anyway, he made it to the door in question, checking he had everything he wanted before opening the door, concentrating on Wizard City.
Next thing he knew, he was beholding Bartleby's great interior. The massive oaken dome. Hein smiled before proceeding to close the door, but not before Peanut flew out, his pet Ninja Piggle. Laughing a little, he closed the door before exiting Bartleby, looking around at the schools. They used to be quite small decades prior apparently, but they've been working on increasing the size as more people became eligible to study. Not having anything to do that day, as classes didn't actually start for another few days, the bear decided to just take a walk. He considered going to the Pet Pavillion when he saw Wolf walking around as well. He'd seen him before, talked to him a few times, so the bear made his way over.
"Hey," he said, waving a large paw. Peanut oinked in greeting too as Hein continued "Just taking a walk?" Most probably would've invited other students to go find some quick battles in somewhere like Fire Cat Alley or Triton Avenue, but the Professors have been real stickers about that lately. Probably because of Wizards being kidnapped. If the strongest ones were being taken, who knows what would happen with younger ones? The thought made him uneasy, though how would they get any training in if they couldn't go fight? Though the students always had each other, and now that he thought about it that would be better than simple elves or Gobblers.

As Wolf leaned as the short wall, his eyes landed up the Grizzleheim resident known as Hein. He was a student just like he was, except he was a bear. Although Wolf had known many other species existed throughout the Spiral, it was still quite a surprise when he had seen him roaming around the school. He gave a small wave of his hand before nodding toward Hein's pet as well.
"Hey," Wolf said with a smile. "For the most part, but mostly wizard watching. It's pretty fun to watch others roam around the school, especially when they approach some of the trees." He gave off a slight chuckle, yet a small sense of him realized something was missing. He moved away from the short wall looking around before setting his sights in the Storm Tree's, Torrence, direction. Playing in the pond around the tree was a small purple and yellow Kraken. Wolf lolled his head back for a moment before shaking his head.
"Maximus, what did I tell you about bothering Torrence?" Wolf warned his pet. The Kraken turned slowly toward him and shrugged his shoulders before walking toward Wolf, Hein, and Peanut. Giving off a sigh, Wolf turned back toward Hein with a small smile appearing on his face. "I'm sorry about that. Maximus seems to think that he can roam where ever he would like. Oh! How is Grizzleheim?"

Hein nodded in agreement. "I like to watch some of them too. Especially while questing." Ugh, he already missed being able to quest in Wizard City. He of course could go as much as he wanted in Grizzleheim, and even Wintertusk if he wanted to make the trip. He had already traveled the lands since he was cub though. Seen it all too many times to count. "Some call me foolish for being disappointed in the inability to quest around here." As Wizard City was where most of the kidnappings happened, and some at Dragonspyre. "I guess since I've been around Grizzleheim since I was a cub, and I get to be in a new place like this, being limited is a bit disappointing."
He then nodded when asked about home. "Home is well, probably because no kidnappings have happened there, though I suppose there are specific standards or something?" There were plenty of strong magic users back home, but no Wizards really, and he was apparently the first bear in quite a while to be an official Wizard. He then looked at Maximus, chuckling "Have you taken him to the big guy in Triton Avenue?" It would be funny for the little kraken to get a glimpse of a full-sized one.
As the two talked, Hein noticed Peanut drift down toward Maximum, drifting lazy circles around the other pet as he looked him over. This lasted for only a few moments before the Piggle drifted off to sit somewhere nearby, yawning as he scratched his side. The bear chuckled a little before looking back to Wolf. "Usually on a weekend like this I'd go find a few battles somewhere, maybe invite you, but I don't think your Professor would be okay with me taking you anywhere, especially outside Wizard City. Or anyone who's not from home." Perhaps Hein was given slightly more leniency about traveling in general because he technically wasn't from Wizard City. He just attended classes there.

Wolf smiled at Hein before looking around the campus again. "Yeah, I can understand the freedom part. Being a Diviner, a big part of me is not happy about being constrained to staying within the city. Storms do not like to be controlled and neither does storm students," Wolf mentioned. With the kidnappings, he hadn't gotten to do much outside of battling inside the Wizard City Arena, which got quite boring after awhile. Facing down real opponents was all part of the thrill and that sense wasn't felt in the Arena, at least not with Wolf.
"I can understand why there haven't been any kidnappings in Grizzleheim," Wolf said with a chuckle as he glanced at Hein from head to toe. Although with Hein being a wizard and a different species, Wolf could still see an attempt made, especially someone like Hein who was both bear and wizard. He looked back to Maximus before answering Hein's question. "Nah, I feel like that wouldn't end well. Maximus may be a pet, but I still feel like he'd try to challenge the big guy."
Maximus watched Peanut swirl around him, but didn't really think anything of it. The Piggle was of no threat to him or Wolf, so he wasn't worried about any caution. Wolf turned his attention back to Hein. "Professor Flash is only following orders to be honest. If he had it his way, we'd probably be out in the field now. He'd only tell us to make sure we had a group so we can take on whomever was behind these kidnappings."

Hein laughed a little. "I don't think anyone likes being limited like this. Well, most don't. Some are happy not to be out and about, but some of the higher tier students say that it's greatly setting back their progression." After all, going questing in difficult places and other worlds was a huge part of the higher up students. He then laughed a little when Wolf spoke of Maximum. "I'd say the battle would humble him, but I don't think you can be humbled if you're stepped on like a bug."
The bear nodded when Wolf mentioned his Professor. Honestly, though Hein would not say it to a Storm student, most would speculate for it to be a miracle that Flash even made it past master tier. He was just about the laziest thing around when not out on the field, and his teaching methods were a little... different, but effective. He was known for a strong emphasis on "learning through experience." Though sending students off to Celestia and Zafaria wasn't exactly the best idea even in groups. "He and the other Professors are hopefully looking into these kidnappings though. Everyone else seems to be avoiding the task." He then huffed. "I wish they'd permit students to. Didn't students save the Spiral a ways back?" But the current matter was rumored to be worse. "Ooh, maybe we can ask around? Find something out. Anything!"
As he spoke with the other male, Peanut somehow conjured a baggie out of nowhere, the baggie having Ninja Fig slices in it. The Piggle offered one to Maximus as Hein continued "I just don't like being in the dark about things like this. People are going missing, maybe even killed or something, and we get told nothing." He chuckled. "I've tried asking around Grizzleheim, but no one knows anything, and I haven't had time to go anywhere else."

He chuckled. "I've tried asking around Grizzleheim, but no one knows anything, and I haven't had time to go anywhere else." Wolf nodded in agreement about his statement of some of the higher tier students feeling robbed of progression. "I would have to agree with a lot of those students. I'm literally just under Master Diviner, so I definitely can understand the frustration." There wasn't many explanations from the professors because he wasn't even sure they knew what was going on. Wolf considered that some unknown force was starting to gain strength and slowly target wizards to deplete their ranks. He tried to convince some of the professors to allow higher tier students to investigate, but that plan was shot down almost immediately. Too much worry, yet Wolf felt like many had forgotten it was students who saved the Spiral in the past. Maximus stared at the fig slices, slightly confused to the intention of Peanut. His senses were always on alert for harm and he didn't trust very well. He sniffed at the slice before cautiously taking it from the Piggle. He munched on a small portion on it before deciding it was safe to continue eating. Wolf glanced at the two pet's interaction and shook his head in amusement at Maximus. "Pride is a huge deal with Kraken, so yes being stepped on would likely not be a good idea," Wolf chuckled. Wolf gave some thought to Hein's suggestion as he knew the professors wouldn't give any information other than what they were told, but maybe some students had heard some things. "Maybe we should, but we need to ask around the students first because they will more than likely be the ones to tell us anything. I can understand why many in Grizzleheim wouldn't know, I mean you said it yourself that there wasn't any kidnappings there."

Flamestar96 Rusty!Hein nodded in understanding at the frustration Wolf probably had. Being so close to having that Master title was thrilling to the bear, but since Wolf could not go anywhere that would get him just that little ways forward to the title, it must be even a little irritating. "I'm sure you'll be given other opportunities. Maybe request your Professor take the class on a trip or something somewhere, or even two classes." Perhaps two Grandmaster wizards would ward off possible attackers, as the ones who had disappeared had been off on their own except for some twins. "I'm surprised no students have tried to investigate though. All of this being kept in the dark surely has some of us itching to." It sure did for him anyway, but going off alone wasn't the best idea. "Maybe if more students pressed the idea of the Professors letting them go off to investigate, we'll finally be granted the permission. We really should be taking such a proposal to the Headmaster though, since they give the orders to the Professors." Hopefully they'd get points for determination? The thought made Hein snort, plucking a few strings on his lyre. "Especially since most wizards stay at Master status for their lifetime, it isn't like they're sending an entire fleet of Initiates out to investigate." The more he thought about it, the more it didn't make much sense that at least the higher tier students like him and Wolf weren't allowed to go out and try and find clues and answers. He then nodded at the idea of asking around the students first. "Yes, if any of them know anything then they'd be more likely to tell us." He then looked around. "I think it would be a good idea to go elsewhere though... after all, the previous academy staff put enough faith in students before, but that's different than just us running off without permission I suppose." Same reasons though, right? The idea excited him a little, but he was drawn from his thoughts when he felt someone bump into him. The tall bear turned to see a girl having fallen on her rear. As she apologized, he shook his head while saying "It's fine, really." He saw her glasses nearby on the ground, picking them up and handing them to her as she tried to look for them. "Here." After returning the glasses to their owner, he tilted his head with a glance at Wolf. "I don't think I've seen you around before... are you an Initiate?" He looked curious at that, and even his Piggle drifted away from Maximus to come investigate, nose wiggling a little as the "ninja" looked at Ellie curiously.

Ellie thanked him, taking the glasses. "I just enrolled, yes. I'm going to be a Life wizard!" She smiles with glee. As she puts the large, round specs on her face, the girl saw Hein correctly. She looked shocked, then excited.
"You're from Grizzleheim, aren't you?" She asks, rising up. "Oh, I've heard so many stories about it! Is it true the trees move and speak? Ooh, and do the bear warriors really fight wolves?" She was paused, smile faltering. "I'm sorry. Probably should introduce myself before asking a million questions... I'm Ellie, and you are?" She asked both of them.

Sorry, I should have replied sooner)
Giving off a large sigh, Wolf nodded his head. "I think that would be best because I'm tired of waiting here," he muttered a little agitated from the professors' lack of communication with the students especially with the high-tiered ones. "Let's go talk with Headmaster to see if we can convince them to allow us to investigate, even if it's a small bit." Wolf went to step forward and around Hein when a smaller girl bumped into the back of Hein and fell to the ground. She lost her glasses, but before he could pick them up Hein had them in his paws and had handed them back to the girl. He wanted to check her for injuries as his secondary magic was in Life, but when she mentioned that she was also a Life student, he didn't really have the need to.
Suddenly, the girl started asking a bunch of questions toward Hein, which caused Wolf to chuckle a little bit. Many people, especially humans are a little start struck when they meet others of different species. To learn about their native lands and understand the culture that they grew up in, which is absolutely amazing that others want to learn, but she was talking faster than lightning bat. Finally, the realization had sunk in and she introduced herself as Ellie. Wolf smiled at her, a warm and caring smile graced his face. "I'm Wolf, a Magnus Diviner."

Flamestar96 Rusty!Hein smiled in amusement as Ellie asked a lot of questions. "Yes, I am from Grizzleheim. Northguard specifically." He would invite other students to visit, as Northguard at least was a calm, kind place worh hardy people. Surely if they stayed in that area it wouldn't be too bad if they just planned on looking. "And yes, there are wolves that are a little hostile. Mainly the Moonstriders." Ugh, they were annoying. When the girl officially introduced herself, he nodded once with another smile. "Very nice to meet you, Ellie. I'm Hein, and I'm actually a Theurgist as well." He then looked as Wolf introduced himself too before looking back to Ellie. "If you're excited to see someone like me, just wait until see Professor Amberclaws. He's a Draconian." Bipedal dragon people basically, but surely that was cooler than a bear. Looking to Wolf again, he said "And yeah, I think we should try and go see the Headmaster when we can." He then looked down as Ellie spoke again. "Yes, Wolf here is a Magus and I recently just reached Master status." He then chuckled when she asked if she had to bow or anything. "No, no. None of that. If you practice and study, you'll surely reach a high tier in time as well." He then looked over at Wolf for a moment before asking Ellie "We were just about to go to the Headmaster's office, or see if we could get an appointment or something. You've heard about all the kidnappings, right? Wolf and I want to try and argue a case to let students go and investigate. Well, students of our level anyway." He wouldn't really object to Ellie going if she actually really knew any magic. "You can come with us if you'd like. And maybe after we can go to Unicorn Way. Start you off with some Lost Souls or something." They could teach Ellie the basic spells, especially since both Wolf and Hein were Life wielders.
