Should Lionblaze have forgiven Breezepelt for almost ending his life out of punishment for being born or do you think that was ooc of him?

No one ever deserves forgiveness from anyone, it's something that's up to the said person on whether they want to forgive them or not. Lionblaze chose to forgive him, which is probably one of the most mature things he's ever done character wise, compared to how he treated Heathertail, lol. On the other hand Jayfeather, and many of Breezepelt's own clanmates, still don't forgive him. And that's fine too, Breezepelt doesn't need their forgiveness, especially when it's obvious he's already moved on with his life.

I mean, it's up to the individual character. I think that's one good thing they did with the book. They showed that it was up to the person wrong to forgive or not and neither was wrong. Jayfeather chose not to forgive, but Lionblaze did

Given that Lionblaze didn't know about most of Breezepelt's crimes (most were witnessed by Ivypool or Jayfeather), I think it makes sense that he forgave Breezepelt. Really the only thing Breeze ever did to Lion (that Lion knows about) is try to kill him in a battle that he already knew Breeze would be fighting against him in anyway.
I do think Lionblaze was out of character in CT, but that has nothing to do with the forgiveness thing.

No one deserves forgiveness. Forgiveness is a thing you do for yourself, to let go of whatever negative feelings or whatnot linger from the event.
Lionblaze was ready to let go and so he did. Jayfeather was not, so he didn't.
I think the 'deserve' aspect of the question kind of dampens the meaning of it. In the end, Lionblaze forgiving Breezepelt says a lot about Lionblaze more than it does about Breezepelt. Forgiveness doesn't mean you think someone's actions are okay. Moreso, it's a sign you've matured past that incident and moved on and no longer with to put emotional effort into it.
To me, Lionblze forgiving Breezepelt shows how Lionblaze has grown from a hot-headed battle hungry apprentice and an impulsive, hot-headed warrior who was frequently plagued with visions of violence that scared even himself to a more mature cat in control of his emotions, secure about his family and identity, and has little emotional turbulence in him.
It shows character growth for a character who sadly doesn't get much growth.
And you can also compare the growth to Jayfeather's refusal of forgiveness (which is his right, as I said above, forgiveness is for you) and him actually contemplating letting Breezepelt die by not giving herbs to save his life. Jayfeather as a character carries a lot more emotional pain and suffering and anger and still has yet to learn what to really do with it aside from being a grump.
