Gloam's Name That Cat! Contest (Round 8 [Finally] Up!)

This isn’t your average name that apprentice game. I am going to fluctuate between warrior names, Tribe names, early settlers’ names, rogue/kittypet names, and whatever else I can think of. The names might be following a theme or they might not be. I might even branch farther off in my quest of mixing things up and try different variants like providing a kittypet’s name and/or description and asking you to give them a warrior name. Flexibility is the key here. If you have any ideas you want to tell me about, please refer to the QUESTIONS, COMMENTS, AND SUGGESTING THEMES section below. 

1. I post rounds. 

2. You enter them.

3. I approve them by liking your post. If I don’t approve your name/s for some reason (this will likely be because it’s a canon name or someone else has entered it before you), I’ll quote you and ask if you’d like to change it. I won’t delay closing the round in order for you to answer; you just won’t be entered into that specific name, though your other approved names will be. 

4. When three days have passed and five entrants have entered (if three days passed and I have less than five, then I’ll wait until I get the magic number before proceeding), I’ll close the round and judge the entries before posting and tagging the winners. NOTE: The number of days may vary from time to time depending on various factors

5. This is an idea I got from Ivyfalcon ’s Name the Apprentice Game, so the credit goes to her. Each winner will receive one point for every cat they win, and when they win five points they may post and tag me for their prize, a kit. 

NOTE: If I happen to fall in love with a name, I will add it to the Hall of Fame and never take the name off EVER.

3. No canon names or names that other people have entered before you are allowed! 

4. Only one approved entry per name is allowed (don’t worry; if I didn’t approve any of your names you’ll get a chance to change them!). If you submit more than one entry then I will be forced to accept only one to be fair to the other players. 

5. I trust everyone is more mature than this, but please don’t be a bad sport if your names don’t win. Everyone comes up with amazing names, but I can only choose one as the winner. There will be other chances for you.
