What's your opinion on how she handled her brother's death?

It was irrational, but as someone who has lost her father very young, I understand how irrational grief can make you.
So yeah, she was wrong, but it was also understandable because it's clear that the RowanTawny family was VERY close. Overall, Dawnpelt is a good cat and I like her a lot despite this one incident

I think it's realistic. I know what whenever I'm sad, or scared, or something, I get VERY angry, and losing a sibling can make someone angry, and when you're angry, you don't think rationally.
And like Ottersplash said, they were an extremely close family. I feel so bad for Tigerheartstar in this aspect, he's lost both his littermates, in basically the same way.

Everything was fine except for how long she took to actually make the accusation. I've said before, six moons is like a decade in cat time (maybe more like 6-7 years), so it's like losing a family member, and then seven years later going to the police and saying, "by the way, I think this dude murdered my brother". Like... there's nothing wrong with it, it's just baffling that she didn't speak up earlier. Especially since we see almost no hostility from her in Sign of the Moon, it really feels like she just all of a sudden changed her mind.
Then again, Flametail himself is only mentioned twice in SotM, so I chalk it up to bad writing. Which I don't usually do, but... in this case, it's accurate.

I thought her accusations lacked common sense (Yea, the blind medicine cat drowned your brother, who was also a medicine cat), but then again she was grieving and clearly was taking Flametail's death badly, so you can't really blame her.
