((yay! how are you? ))
Dixon huffed in begrudging agreement. People don't usually look up. But he listened to his muffled shouts anyway and agreed, he was discovered. Watching John leap made Dixon slightly sick. He never really was a huge daredevil, but either way he opened the void to transport his way back down to John. "No more stunts, yeah?" he said, hands on his knees, regaining his balance. "But what are we gonna do about it? I don't enjoy sitting like ducks waiting until things get real bad." He paused, looking at John, wondering what the next move is. He considered giving the guy his phone number, John would even have one.

"It shouldn't be too hard." John said. "I've got a few friends in the local police department. They may not be able to stop what's going on around here, but they're still trying. I could take you to a safehouse I've got located just outside of the city, but we'll need a car to get there." John paused for a moment, looking thoughtful. "I've got a guy who owes me a favor downtown. He should be able to help us out."

Dixon walked to the edge and glanced down, thinking, Oh man, we're doing this again. Unless... "All right," Dixon conceded in an ingratiating tone, rubbing his hand tiredly on his face, "as long as you take me with you Mr. Metal-wielder."
((our replies are slowly getting shorter and shorter XD)) ((EDIT 10:15 (forum time):: I've gotta get movin' for bed. Sorry for the short time. :/ ))

yeah, lol.)
"Of course!" John exclaimed. "I wouldn't leave a fellow conduit behind to be used as target practice for those sorry excuses for human beings we saw earlier." John pulled out his cell phone. "I'm texting one of the guys there so they can expect us."

((I fix it!! XD )) "Right, right," Dixon answered, checking his own phone. Only a few texts from the class group chat and apparently an email. Scrolling through the dozen texts, nobody said anything important, he pulled up the contacts app and waited until he finished before handing over his phone. "Just you're number. Not your name," Dixon clarified thinking that if one of his friends would steal his phone he wouldn't have to deal with that conversation. "Hey Dixon why do you have a John's number in here?" "Oh, well I'm a conduit too, so we're just friends, trying to dodge the people who want to kill us." Oh yes, that would be a wonderful conversation. Then he'd definitely have to runaway.

"Alright." John replied, inserting his number into the device. "We should use aliases as well. We don't want someone to wire-tap us and know who we are." John looked around for a moment, then moved over towards a T.V. dish. "I don't think anyone's using this." Reaching his hand forward, John absorbed the dish. "Much better."

Dixon nodded, pretending he knew what John was doing. "Ready to roll, Johnny?" he asked once he finished his doing his thing with the television dish. Dixon let his olive green eyes wander around, he looked down and was very grateful to notice that the alleyway was still empty.

"We only need to go a few blocks." John informed Dixon. "There should be a place called Cole McG's electronics. My, uh, 'friend' works there. He should be able to hook us up with a ride." Beckoning for dixon to follow him, John leaped off the building, landing on the concrete below. brushing the dust off of his jeans, John looked up, waiting for Dixon.

Dixon glanced down sighed. He really didn't enjoy jumping, plucking up his courage he followed. Landing with a resounding thud, Dixon wracked his brain to see if he knew that place. Coming up with nothing he positioned himself behind John. "You lead," he told him, gesturing to go with a grin.

"Alright. Stick close, though. There tends to be criminals around here." John quickly walked out of the alley and along the sidewalk, looking back occasionally to make sure Dixon was following and no one else was. before long, they arrived at the electronics store, where he spotted the man he was looking for: Zeke. "Here we are." John announced.

Dixon nodded, thinking that he knew that already, but nodded anyway. Following behind he let out an internal sigh of relief, he wasn't an alleyway person. When they came upon the electronics store he realized that he walked past this place everyday going to school, he wanted to face palm, but as their lift was already here he refrained. "Sweet. Hi," he said to the man, with a nod.
((will be gone most of this week for vacation, sorry. :/ ))
