So, there's been a lot of yellow cats popping up lately, Tree, Rootpaw, Sleekwhisker, I think Baypaw, etc. What do you imagine yellow cats looking like? I imagine them to be a light ginger, but not exactly cream, like in between ginger and cream, a bit like this, without the white  |

my brain forces me to imagine them as a bright, neon yellow color. i have no idea why. Hahah XD I bet that makes the newer books fun to read. It's kinda interesting that there weren't any yellow cats before A Vision of Shadows, now there's like 35935353 |

I hate the "yellow" descriptor so much.
I rather refer to them as ginger because that's what they are, it's fricking ginger. That's what the pelt color is called, call it that damnnit editors.
Also the cat pic you posted IS cream. You can tell for how pale the marks not colored in white are.

Yellow/Orange are poor adjectives when it comes to Warriors. They feel...odd and basic, usually because the Erins were more descriptive about colourings in past arcs. Anyway, aren't "yellow" cats just...golden??
Example: Rootpaw would look something like this.

I love the way his eyes almost match his fur color, my friend has a cat like that, he's a buff spotted tabby with yellow eyes, so, not EXACTLY like that, but his eye color matches his fur |
