[ yes! I love friends <3 also can i just say that your username makes me laugh xD ]
Finch & Cotton [ 𝚛𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚢 ]
Twitching his whiskers, he let out a faint sigh. Sleep did sound like a good idea; however, getting scolded for sleeping all day was not something he was a fan of. "Sometimes I wished we were just old already," Finch reasoned, his gaze briefly flickering towards Taz. He didn't voice out loud that elders didn't do much, Taz would kill him right in the middle of camp and prove his point wrong. His yellow eyes drifted back to Cotton. "Maybe I will tag along with you anyways," he teased and bumped his shoulder against hers playfully. As much as Finch liked being lazy at times and sleeping, he disliked being stationary too long. He needed to stay active and alert.Grouse with Storm & Moose Grouse offered her a gentle smirk back. His green eyes gleaming with laughter that he withheld so he wouldn't bother the kits. "I just want you to be prepared," he meowed lightly with an teasing edge to his voice. Kits were hard work and very demanding of one's time. "Although between me and you, I already know you are going to be a great mother," Grouse purred with a warm light in his eyes. The older tom had faint smile on his muzzle, he could remember a time when a young Storm would trail behind him at his heel within camp. There was a very times where he would almost trip over his daughter.
Grouse flickered his ears. He could barely hear Storm but at the same, it felt like the words uttered were clear as day. "She would have loved them," he meowed in a soft tone. He knew if his mate was still here, she would have insisted to be here with Storm. She probably would have even moved into the nursery with Storm.
Rolling his eyes, he let out an amused huff. Grouse shook his head, shaking away the thoughts of his long-gone mate. He would see her one day in the afterlife, he knew. "You will be fine," he meowed mildly and poked her back with his big paw. "I think those kits might need you a little more for the time being," Grouse pointed out and shot his stubborn daughter a pointed look. He was a tom, nobody ever depended on him for milk.

Brushing close to her father, an unspoken gratitude for his seemingly endless wisdom and patience, the young healer had lost her mother young yet still felt the loss like a relentless injury, she couldn’t begin to imagine what the pain was like for her father, who’d had far more time with the doubtlessly wonderful shecat. Her need to help others was as intrinsic as the need to breathe for the young shecat, but she knew from experience to make the most of ones time with their kits, for they never really knew how much more time they would be left with. Yet she refused to allow herself to linger on such thoughts for longer, she knew there was truth to Grouse’s words, her mother was watching all of them no doubt. Regarding the kits with an amused yet fond look, she rested her head against her paws with a sigh, “Heavens forbid I even imagine leaving them right now,” she chuckled with a purr. “I think I’d cause a riot.”

rose PudgeCat ʙᴜᴍʙʟᴇʙᴇᴇ » About a week had passed since the circle’s newest members had arrived, and to the astonishment only to those who didn’t know the determined new mother very well, Storm had persisted with her duties regardless of her new status as a mother. Caring for the demanding trio in between excursions for herbs and ensuring the welfare of her circlemates, given that the kittens were yet to open their eyes, it had thus far been a fairly easy task to complete, but she knew sooner or later she would kits walking and talking, and she was beginning to think she’d need to grow eyes in the back of her calico head in order to keep an eye on everything.
The slender shecat wove through camp, depositing juniper berries and dock leaves into the healer’s den, a place she missed more than she cared to admit. Before turning back and making for the nursery, her ears pricked forward as she ducked beneath the nursery entrance and into the dimly lit gloom of the nursery. A smile brightening her expression as she heard the familiar mewl of kits.
Settling beside them with a soft purr, she curled into a circle around them with a quiet yawn. “Good morning,” she greeted with a chuckle, thankful for the times of peace she could gain with her offspring.

Wolf
The young male, eyes wide and whiskers twitching, kept his head close to the opening of the nursery. His mother had left to do something, he saw her padded through the camp with something held between her teeth. The kit wanted to rush out and meet her but the sounds, the brightness of daylight, kept him still. Wolf's fur puffed with excitement and apprehension. This was his world now. All full of strange things, sounds and tastes. How could he ever get use to it all?
As Storm returned to the nursery, Wolf quickly tumbled his way back into his nest and glanced up at his mother's warm welcome.
"Do we get to leave today?" Wolf asked, a question he had asked repeatedly. His black and grey fur stuck out wildly with moss knotted into the long pelt. "I'm ready to start as Wren's apprentice. Look how big I am already!"

Grinning as she was bombarded instantly by her only son, she chuckled at his words. The sole topic of conversation it seemed they had shared over the past few days was as such, the young healer couldn’t help the find amusement such excitement brought to her heart. Stretching out with a yawn, her ears remained twitched back in the direction of her daughters, though her attention remained fixed on her son. “All the warriors need I’m sure, is for a little scrap like you to be getting under their paws,” she teased with a chuckle, toying with his ears playfully. “I’m sorry little one,” she admitted with a quiet purr, watching his excited bouncing with a smile, “I’d have taken you this morning, but Hustler dislocated his foreleg and was crying nearly as much as Silver when she’s hungry, otherwise I’d have waited fir you three to wake.” Her voice saddened some, the tear she felt between her duties as a healer was painful but inevitable.
“Hmm, I’m sure Beholder might have a few concerns about a still suckling kitten joining her ranks as an apprentice,” she rolled her eyes. Storm had witnessed a surplus of kits demand that the exception be made for them and they be allowed to become apprentices early, but it felt different when it was her own. “And if your not going to have something to eat, let me at least make you look presentable.”
She snatched the tom up with a purr from where he’d been shifting by her belly, resting him between her black and orange forelegs. Where she promptly began grooming his fur meticulously, “Indeed you have grown little mischief maker,” Storm teased, “Yet still you can’t groom yourself,”
