Whether you asked for it or not, I decided to bring you a new and improved warriors mbti chart! Personally I love mbti even with its flaws and I find it rather interesting. The other charts out there I feel are incredibly inaccurate, so I decided to chalk up a new one! If you got any suggestions, want an explanation, or just wanna tag yourself based on type, feel free to comment! Anyways here we go:
ISTJ: Hollyleaf ISFJ: Barley ESTJ: Bramblestar ESFJ: Sandstorm ISTP: Tawnypelt ISFP: Ravenpaw ESTP: Lionblaze ESFP: Squirrelflight INTJ: Jayfeather INTP: Shadowstar ENTP: Needletail ENTJ: Skystar ENFJ: Firestar ENFP: Cinderpelt INFJ: Bluestar INFP: Leafpool
I’m Cinderpelt

Hmm, I always see leaders and politicians in my ENFJ slot but honestly the "generosity" and "giving" elements of it were always the positive traits I thought best described it. Not that Firestar's completely unsuitable for that, either.

Not that Firestar's completely unsuitable for that, either. It’s understandable, usually ENFJs are politicians and leaders when it comes to this type (e.g. Barack Obama, MLK jr). I mainly typed him because he has a vision to help not only his own clan, but all clans. He is also criticized by the other leaders as nosy and always getting into the other clans buisness, which some people say is a negative quality of ENFJs in general (they don’t mean to be nosy, they just want the best for others). I was also gonna do gray wing for ENFJ too.

i stopped looking at warriors mbti headcanons after i found one that typed onestar as the same mbti as me in all seriousness jayfeather is basically textbook intj and squirrelflight seemed more like an estp to me as an apprentice but like almost all warriors characters her personality is kind of inconsistent so idk and i'd type ivypool as an istp

I can sorta see squirrel as being ESTP, but she tends to take action based on what she thinks is right, rather than the most logicial course of action. I actually also headcanon ivy as ISTP, maaaaybe ISFP

I see her as being an isfp or infp personally, because she's actually more similar to ivypool than people think, but she's a lot more emotional and ig "whinier." when ivypool was basically given a job to spy on the dark forest she did it without complaint for the most part, but dovewing spent most of her plot sitting around complaining about how she wanted to be normal/how she wanted her powers back all the sudden. on the other hand though from what I recall dovewing actually felt bad about ignoring ivypool, but ivypool didn't really seem to catch on to that

The other charts out there I feel are incredibly inaccurate, so I decided to chalk up a new one! If you got any suggestions, want an explanation, or just wanna tag yourself based on type, feel free to comment! Anyways here we go: ISTJ: Hollyleaf ISFJ: Barley ESTJ: Bramblestar ESFJ: Sandstorm ISTP: Tawnypelt ISFP: Ravenpaw ESTP: Lionblaze ESFP: Squirrelflight INTJ: Jayfeather INTP: Shadowstar ENTP: Needletail ENTJ: Skystar ENFJ: Firestar ENFP: Cinderpelt INFJ: Bluestar INFP: Leafpool I’m Cinderpelt Hmm. I feel like Firestar and Cinderpelt should be ESFJ and ESFP though, respectively. Firestar's POV definitely feels like S: though he will break the code for his own compassion and empathy he seems to naturally fit into Clan life and the way it's steeped in traditions, noticing one's surroundings - his POV always seems to be noticing things in the forest and worrying and stuff. And he's less of a visionary and more of someone who will do the compassionate thing when the choice pops up. And Cinderpelt as an apprentice seems much more concerned with just EXPLORING AND EXPERIENCING EVERYTHING AND BEING A WARRIOR than being dreamy of "intuitive", and as a medicine cat she takes naturally to the practical tasks of herb treatment (curing a plague no one else could) while having a weak ability to interpret the signs of StarClan and connect with them (interpreting things like the fire and tiger sign too literally, and being the one behind the adage "sometimes a storm is just a storm"). Agree on Squirrelflight being ESTP at least some of the time. I haven't read the books in a while but I think Graystripe is ESFP (warmhearted, often dominated by emotions for the worse and driven by his emotions to do selfish things, easily makes friends, goofy and likes to experience what the forest has to offer),, Crowfeather is ISFP (Driven by his emotions in usually a negative way, often grumpy or angry or doing stupid things because of romance, reacts to grief in an extreme manner, kind of a loner otherwise, doesn't fit in with regimented Clan life and prefers to be on adventures, but still driven and ambitious since ISFP tends to lean more towards intuitive than thinking) Ashfur is ISFJ (acts on the surface like a standard "boring to the point of being stifling" traditionalist warrior, devoted to humbly protecting his Clamnates, not particularly gregarious and tends to sulk and hide his feelings, ultimately very unhealthily driven by his emotions and the belief that he entitled to love, villainous but without some over-the-top evil ambition), Stormfur is INFJ maybe (Wise beyond his age and tends to "intuitively" understand other cats, like he actually notices when cats are in love rather than being oblivious, fascinated by the spiritual and other Clans' traditions, ultimately driven by his emotional bonds towards others in his decisions - he goes on the journey to protect his sister, he leaves for the Tribe because no one he loves is in the Clans anymore). Sol seems like ENTP (Clever, nearly emotionless, but ultimately immature, thinks everything is just a game and can't move himself to long-term projects, interested in faith and traditions intellectually but has no respect for blindly following them). Cloudtail is maybe also ENTP (Thinking outside the box, like how he mentored Brightheart and probably why he gets so many apprentices in general, attempts to think of creative solutions often leads him to take a lazy and ill-advised "easy way out" like with eating two leg food, though if someone calls him out for it he'll have a pretty clever argument as to why, adventurous, steady even in the worst of situations without being crushed by his emotions), and while we're at it I've seen Crookedstar listed as ENTP which seems about right (dynamic and adventurous, rational and won't get into war for some stupid political reason or for pride, he'll actually take a reasonable opinion and do the right, kind and reasonable thing, but can be manipulative and underhanded, has an incredible emotional resilience that allows him to function as a leader without breaking down like Bluestar did even after what he goes through). Tigerstar and Hawkfrost are typical ENTJ villains (intensely ambitious visionary/leader types, bombastic and charismatic, willing to go through difficulty and pain for their goals but have no scruples about enjoying the luxuries of victory, intelligent and manipulative, rarely driven by their emotions, especially ones like sympathy or love) and Thistleclaw is a typical ESTP villain (obsessed with the thrill of fighting and courageous in battle, shows little emotion, gives little thought to a deeper or more complex situation beyond the immediacy of the battle) And for some favorite minor characters of mine: Mousefur is ISTJ (works on her own and has only a few cats she is friends with like Runningwind and Longtail, tends to be practical and rational but respect traditions and have conservative opinions, often grumpy and not inclined to be empathetic) Flametail is ISFJ (Tirelessly empathetic and caring towards his Classmates, but serving them quietly and being personally rather shy rather than just wanting to be friends with everyone, believes in what StarClan says inflexibly, does rash things because of his emotions without really thinking things through and holds grudges, has a hard time just settling down and relaxing like an ISFP/ESFP would do) Hazeltail is ENFJ (An activist of sorts, always fighting for the rights of those with kittypet blood, very friendly and social, generally wise, mature and "chill" for her age but this can be interfered with by how she will ignore tradition and do things based on her feelings, like panicking on the thunder path or wanting to consider if maybe Sol was not wrong and even taking part in his plan at one point, though when she believed Sol was a murderer in Sunrise she would respond with righteous and somewhat jumping-to-conclusions anger) And by the way, I got INFP (Leafpool), which seems completely accurate for Leafpool even if I don't personally really relate to her or anyone in warriors honestly.

I love how you included minor characters! Yeah, I typed firestar as an intuitive because I always felt he has a vision to make the clans great and keep peace, but I can see why you think he’s a sensing type. Cinderpelt was kinda hard to do, I also see her as an ESFP. Personally, I see Sol as a maladjusted ENFJ, as he uses his ability to emotionally relate to others to manipulate them and get them to do his bidding. But it’s up for debate, since sol is unhealthy and would be harder to type. I also believe hawk and tiger are certainly ENTJ. Oh and cloudtail is most certainly an ENTP

I'll be honest, I've never really believed in these things since humans are so complex. In fact here's a video that explains the history behind it: But for the sake of this thread, I did take a quiz just for fun and apparently I'm closer to Leafpool.

Humans are very complicated, so mbti does have limitations! I find it fun to analyze though. But I understand fully why others don’t believe in it as much. I don't take it that seriously either, it's ridiculous how there are actually companies that base their job choices on this. The tests aren't even replicable. But I think it's fun to give people and fictional characters types as long as it doesn't have serious real-world consequences! Concerning Sol, that makes sense, though I think that he would be an unhealthy ENFP and not ENFJ. I feel like the problem is how inconsistent his character is - POT Sol shows no emotion at all rather than just suppressing it so it seems ridiculous to type him as an F type, OOTS/manga Sol is angry and driven by revenge. Also I feel like you could make a case for Hollyleaf being ESTJ and not ISTJ. She seems to thrive on politics and interactions with other cats, and as I understand it ESTJ is more intuitive than feeling while ISTJ is the reverse, which seems to fit her - she sometimes feels that her mentor (ISFJ?) Brackenfur doesn't understand her because he sees the world through more practical things (go on patrol, build a den, etc.) while she is always thinking of the implications of everything in terms of diplomacy and politics and what it means to be a Clan cat. Still an _STJ, but almost an _N type. Also, are there any non-evil ENTJs in the series? Maybe Sunstar, from what I remember of him (clever and rational strategist who won't do stupid things based on pride or anger, though charismatic, dignified and natural leader)?

I don't like the mbti just because apparently I split four different personality types. I'm strongly I and T, but am split exactly down the middle for S-N and J-P. (Which essentially makes me equal parts INTP, INTJ, ISTP, and ISTJ) Reading through the descriptions, I think I identify the most with the INTP, but if I were to describe myself, I would focus on my J-type characteristics. So basically, my self-chosen type is INTJ. I'm okay with this, because Jayfeather is my favorite character and the one I relate to the most, and I've never read anything with Shadowstar in it so I don't know. Funny story about me taking the test just now if you want to know: When I was in middle school, I was textbook INTP, and to a certain extent still relate to it the most of any of the types. But recently I've noticed I display more J-type characteristics. An example: I plan out many things in my life to the absolute smallest detail, and then I get really upset if things don't go exactly according to plan. So when I saw this thread I decided to retake the test, expecting to get INTJ.
It typed me as ISTJ. I was extraordinarily confused by this, because as far as I can tell, I'm fairly intuitive. When I looked at the detailed report, I was 51% Sensing 49% Intuiting, and 51% Judging 49% Prospecting. Call me picky, but that doesn't actually seem like enough of a swing to type me in one direction or the other, especially on a test that may determine whether I get a job or not.
Anyway, I clicked on over to the ISTJ description and felt a rage start to boil in my stomach because it said ISTJs are thought to be the most common personality type. Minor detail about me; I am an extreme noncomformist and hate when I do anything that can be considered common or basic. I like being weird. I read through the rest, didn't identify with it too much, and then clicked on over to INTP just for a refresher.
First line, first freaking line said "there's nothing an INTP would be more upset about than being called common."
Guess I'm still an INTP after all. XD
