I'm doing this project for school, and I had an idea if I made a collage of answers to this question- "What do stories mean to you?"
Please leave an answer down below, along with a first name so I can quote you.

Levi~ Stories can be of past experiences or just the imagination of a person. But it also shows the personality and often the mood of the person, because details get stressed in different ways when a person is in a different mood than the first time the story was told

For me, stories are how I learn about my family's not so distant past. They give me insight to how my parents grew up, specifically my dad, and how different it was for him growing up in a different country than it was for me growing up here in the United States. One of my favorite things is when my family gets together and I listen to my dad, aunts, and uncles talk about when they were younger (in a different language, no less) and reminisce on the different shenanigans they would get into. It's fascinating how these stories have led to me and my cousins and how they've kept us together, in a sense. Whenever I think of the word "stories", I think about the bond I share with this group of people I call my family. - Antoinette

Thistle~ Stories mean a lot to me. You can either go on adventure with a group of dwarfs fighting dragons or you can follow along with someone's life story. They can make you cry, they can make you scream, they can make you angry. Stories provoke intense emotion, especially if you are reading fanfiction, and that's really what I like about these things we call stories. They are fantastic pieces of literature and inspire me everyday to go and carve my own adventure into the Sands of time. Maybe I can make the reader ride along with the Fabulous Killjoys in their Trans-Am, having fun in the desolate desert. Or maybe I could bring the reader along in a winding road of emotion of Dan suffering with his depression, and Phil being his only saviour. Maybe I could drag the reader through a cute Peterick fanfic, as they encode songs together and grow as a bromance. So many things and stories and amazing classics can be made with the same 26 letters, which always astounds me.
