Also hello mint I'd love to have you! Actually I was looking up the natural ranges of elm trees and they do exist in Florida. Also water hickory also grows there. So technically you could keep the names, but if you wanted to find more beachy names feel free to! We're really just discussing the history and characters now so you're fine!

Oh wow! That's actually pretty cool. I guess I have two characters then. They're sibs. Hickoryfoot is a reckless, headstrong adventurer and Elmheart is a 'better to be safe than sorry' sort. Hickoryfoot would probably be a real advocate to use the landbridge to leave and search for something better.
I'll probably find more beachy names as well. I tend to RP a minimum of two cats, but tend to thrive with three. If that works, I'll probably have to plot out another.
History sounds cool. Anything interesting going on with that right now?
I have to hear about this flirty ShellClan boy now he's been mentioned. o.o
And Kale (we'll start with that), I will likely think of a interesting nickname eventually. But Kale has pretty much tied for second place for interesting nicknames I've heard. So I don't think I can beat it.

it’s definitely the most interesting nickname i’ve ever had xD it came from ross, who was playing around w my old screenname, khaleesi lol
and my flirty boiiiiiii!! he’ll probably be a newer warrior, but he flirts with anything that moves basically. a disaster bi, if you will. he’s a total sweetheart and loves his clan with his whole heart, but he knows when to put his foot down if something is wrong. a little on the arrogant side, but only because he works really hard and knows he’s earned his place. definitely gets very flustered if anyone ever flirts back.

oooooooooooooooooooooooooo i like him a lot. I think I'm gonna end up naming my leader Finstar after the Fin Whale. if anyone needs helps comming up with names, i've just been looking at this wikipedia article of mammals of florida for ideas. i'll list more resources as i find them.

So I have Elmheart, Hickoryfoot, and Mallowkit.
I'm thinking an apprentice and then I should probably bar myself from thinking about characters. I tend to go overboard if I don't.
I can keep up with all the characters I make, but I don't want to so I'm not going to.
This cat will be named after something other than a plant if I have to ... er ... threats would work better if I could think of one.
Anyway, I was thinking some sort of insect.
