INTRODUCTION
Hey guys!! It’s Birchwind14 and Motaku from WCF. I am the author of Pink and Black which is currently on hold to be rewritten. For now, I wanted to release a brand new fanfiction. I’ve had this idea for a while, but I never put it on paper. So here is Boundaries, I hope you all enjoy it!
(Side Note- There are seven main characters and the chapters will switch between povs. Sometimes I'll have polls to see who you guys would rather hear from, so be on the look for that!)
SYNOPSIS
Man, times have changed.
We’ve evolved, that’s for sure. The Clan cats have become more and more diverse from another. We continue to grow stronger as individuals. There were very little battles and plentiful amounts of prey. But then the lake flooded and we had to move our home for the third time.
As it turns out, we weren’t the only Clans with that idea. We found a beautiful home at the base of the treacherous mountains. At that place, we were reunited with Skyclan, who had apparently been struggling with their home for many moons now. Then along came a group of cats from the mountains, who call themselves Snowclan. An avalanche had wrecked their home and killed many cats. Shortly after that, another clan, called Rockclan joined. There was an earthquake that took many lives and all of their camp. Territory got smaller, weather got worse, fights broke out constantly. Cats were dying left and right from battles, hope seemed lost.
That was, until the Great Clan Leader arrived. The Clans were blessed with an abundance of kits, a miracle from Starclan. He seemed good for us, but it wasn’t long before everything went the wrong way once more.
CHARACTERS

Risingpaw|Clanhopper|Apprentice|♀|8 moons|Risingpaw is a tiny black she-cat with white splotches all over her body. She has amber eyes. Risingpaw has always been shy, and her two brothers are the mirror opposite. She’s polite towards other cats generally, but has a bit of a temper on her. She has a very bad habit of overthinking things, which cause her anxiety and worry. Her brothers are Nettlepaw and Patchpaw. (Shadowclan)
Swanpaw|Clanhopper|Apprentice|♀|7 moons|Swanpaw is surprisingly not a white cat. She is a brown tabby she-cat with green eyes. Swanpaw is not shy like Risingpaw, but she is very fearful. When it comes to battling, Swanpaw would turn and run the other way. She’s calm, cool, and collected when it doesn’t have to do with the possibility of injury. (Thunderclan)
Loudpaw|Clanhopper|Apprentice|♂|12 moons|Loudpaw is the color of wheat with white stockings and blue eyes. His name fits him very well. Loudpaw is annoying sometimes, but he has the gift of being able to lighten the mood. He’s generally a happy cat but he has a bit of a dark past. His family had gone on a walk one day, only to end up with every single one of them being abducted by the Twolegs. (Windclan)
Rowanpaw|Clanhopper|Apprentice|♂|10 moons|Rowanpaw is a large, grey-haired tabby tom with bright yellow eyes. He has lighter ears, paws, and tail. Rowanpaw is the largest of his litter, so he is naturally bossy. He also generally does not like being around a lot of cats. His brothers are Frostpaw, Shatteredpaw, and Ashpaw. (Riverclan)
Birchpaw|Clanhopper|Apprentice|♀|6 moons|Birchpaw is a short dark brown she-cat with matching dark brown eyes and lighter brown markings. Birchpaw just became an apprentice so she’s still in that excited state. She’s hyper, and basically acts like a kit. (Skyclan)
Adderpaw|Clanhopper|Apprentice|♀|11 moons|Adderpaw is a light grey she-cat with dark grey stocks, ears, and speckles. She has orange eyes. Adderpaw is basically just a huge flirt. She will flirt with anyone, it is just natural for her. Adderpaw is usually friends with every she-cat. Her sister is named Cloverpaw. (Rockclan)
Volepaw|Clanhopper|Apprentice|♂|13 moons|Volepaw is a very fluffy white tom with hazel eyes. He has light grey toes on one foot. As the oldest of the Clanhoppers, Volepaw is the most mature. He knows how to make effective decisions that don’t put everyone’s life at risk. (Snowclan)
THE CLANS
Thunderclan- The Thunderclan camp is a large ditch in the ground. The Dens are made from dried mud and branches. The Thunderclan territory is surrounded by trees, but nearly as many trees as Skyclan’s territory. The trees are tall and thick, making it very difficult to climb. Thunderclan borders Shadowclan and Skyclan. Thunderclan cats are generally short and have very muscular limbs. Their fur is neither short nor long, somewhere in between mostly. They tend to have medium-colored fur.
Shadowclan- The Shadowclan camp is hidden in the brambles. Around the camp, and even a little inside the camp, is swampy and marshy, with many pool of water. Shadowclan dens are made out of moss and mud. Shadowclan borders both Thunderclan and Riverclan. Shadowclan cats tend to be slim and their fur is sleek. Their pelt colors are dark, since they spend very little time in the sun. They also have short legs from creeping low in the marsh.
Windclan- The Windclan camp and territory are basically merged into one. It’s a very large moor, with very little trees and bushes. Though there are little plants, there is enough for medicine supplies. The Windclan dens are burrows underneath the soil. Windclan borders Skyclan and Snowclan. Windclan cats are almost always light-furred so that they can run in the wind. They also have very strong legs. Windclan cats are usually light-colored because they spend a ton of time in the sun.
Riverclan- The Riverclan camp is in a ditch, much like Thunderclan. The main difference is, Riverclan dens are made out of a stone. Riverclan’s camp is surrounded completely by a stream of water, with stepping stones only in one place. Riverclan borders Shadowclan and Rockclan. Riverclan cats usually have very thick fur, which sometimes slow them down in the water. Riverclan cat’s pelts differ and there’s not a regular color.
Skyclan- The Skyclan territory has the most trees out of all of the other territories. The camp is a small clearing. The dens are all cramped together, leaving just enough room for the Clan. Skyclan borders Thunderclan and Windclan. Skyclan cats are long-legged and have very long claws for climbing trees. Like Riverclan, their pelts are various different colors.
Rockclan- The Rockclan territory is basically just rocks and trees. It’s near the base of the mountain. There are a few herb bushes around, growing from the cracks of the rocks. Rockclan dens are also burrows in the ground, like Windclan. Rockclan borders Snowclan and Riverclan. Rockclan cats are the most muscular out of the seven clans. They climb both large boulders and trees. Rockclan cats have various pelt colors. Rockclan cats have incredibly short fur.
Snowclan- The Snowclan territory is at the very base of the mountain. The dens are carved hollows on the side of the mountain. The Snowclan territory has a bit of trees and bushes. Snowclan borders Rockclan and Windclan. Snowclan cats have very light pelts normally, such as light greys, browns, and white. Snowclan cats have very thick and fluffy fur to keep themselves warm when they were in the mountains.
