The purpose for this is not NSFW. I simply want to rp with some of my peers, since I often feel out of place when I try joining RPs where members are much younger than me. I don't mean for this to be exclusive in the slightest.
I've been going through some really rough drama lately. Roleplay always provides a nice escape, and I remember how much I loved rping Warriors. It's simple after all. It would be great to meet like-minded adults.
This is why I joined these forums; it's been a long time since I last read the Warriors books. I last read The Last Hope, and that was ten years ago. I've tried picking up the series again, but I was always confused because I'd forgotten so much. However, roleplay can still help me embrace the lore and escape from problems for a while. I'm sure that many people feel the exact same way, especially if they also haven't picked up the series in a long time.
I would love for this roleplay to create friendships and a friendly environment in general. As adults facing our own life stresses, let's try to be understanding of inactivity (whilst being mindful of taking on certain important roles, like leader). Let's not waste time on creating elaborate introductions for our clan - let's instead create an environment where people can create a simple character form and jump right in.
I'd love it if we could create more than one clan and have "gatherings" each month and battles - this was something I found so cool about fan clans back in the day. Perhaps we could partner up with already-established clans, no matter the ages of the RPers there.
Feel free to add your own ideas too, even if you don't want to be a part of it, and even if you're under 18.
The plan so far:
- StarClan cats are fading faster than usual. The clans perform rituals and remembrance ceremonies to retain the memory of these cats and keep them from fading.
- Eventually, someone is going to have to get to the bottom of what is actually happening.
- There's a possible deity.

I love your enthusiasm! Thanks for stopping by! Before we get to the details of an actual clan, is there anything you'd love to implement? Like a plot, a tradition for the cats, even an idea for relationship dynamics, etc?

Oooh, a deity? That sounds interesting, because of course there's StarClan, but who's the one behind StarClan? When StarClan cats die, where do they go?
An idea - maybe there is a StarClan crisis. For the past 3 generations of cats, StarClan cats have begun to fade. Believing that it is because of a lack of memory of the cats before, rituals are held to remember and honor the cats who have passed. Think Day of the Dead traditions. We can determine what those rituals are.
As for the flowers maybe each clan can be named after one. I think MarigoldClan would be a nice one, because of the homage to the remembrance of the dead. What do you think?
Different flowers symbolize different memorials of death. That could be something to implement - if y'all like this idea of course.

I have an idea for rituals -
Each half moon, medicine cats take apprentices from the clan to wherever it is that they meet with StarClan. The apprentices meet with a StarClan cat who is fading and they talk all about their lives.
You'd think it would be assured that only medicine cats and leaders have connections with StarClan, but StarClan is desperate to save itself so this was their will.
After the apprentices return back to camp, a clan meeting is held where the apprentices go up one by one to tell the clan about the cat they met with. Of course, this is a nerve-wracking experience, but it not only ensures that StarClan cats are remembered - it also helps the young cats with their informative abilities.
Do y'all think this should be done by apprentices very early on in their apprenticeship, half-way, or when they are about to become Warriors?

We also have a really botanical theme going That's a cool idea! Maybe this clan we've created (we will call it MarigoldClan for now, might change) scoffs at your clan, misunderstanding their motives. They could think that your Clan is completely ignoring the StarClan crisis. They also believe that these cats who are forming clans could just be power-hungry and wish to put more cats in StarClan. Not to mention the fact that this is giving them way more cats than can be remembered. Of course, some cats in MarigoldClan feel for the cats who are trying to form a new clan. They want a place to belong, and they are alive still - maybe life should be valued more than death. This could create a divide in MarigoldClan, and a possible civil war could break out. |

Will this be set on the forums? I am interested however I'm not sure if I can do a clan. As much as I'd love to join a clan right now, I have a hard pressed schedule with things that I can't dedicate any other time too.
