I'm really sorry guys. I don't know if I've mentioned this earlier, but I had an... event happen this summer which resulted in my mental/emotional state taking a heavy hit and its damaged my motivation to draw (I can count on one hand the things I drew this summer). As school is starting back up, the whole structure of classes and work is actually really helpful? I'm in a better mental space than I've been in for the last two weeks. I'll schedule in some time to work on pages and am thankful for the patience and support you all give me. Its meant a lot while I work through this. I just felt you should get an explanation for why the pages I meant to work on last week didn't come to fruition.
On the plus side, while I haven't been drawing, I have been writing out potential dialogue for future pages. There's this one conversation between Niko and Ryn that I've rewritten like four times because every time I think I've got it, I think of a more efficient and nuanced approach to it. Its still dialogue heavy, but its a conversation, so I don't know what I'm expecting.

Eeeee, I remember this comic series from the old forums! I'm glad you posted it here, because I loved it and I still do! Also, I love how you're doing something different with your art on, like, every other page now; it's really cool!

Ha, glad to hear you guys are ok with my style bouncing around. I try to imagine that its just improvement and not me being super inconsistent. It might shift a little again since its been a while since the last page, but not too much. I've got a writing class and an illustration class this semester that are taking up a lot of time. I've been getting back into the groove (and desire) of drawing so hopefully I'll get some pages done sooner than later?

We're officially back in business, baby! I've sketched two of the pages for the next update. The next update is four pages long and will officially end Volume 2. I'll also post the thread for Volume 3 with its cover. I'm not sure how busy next week is going to be for me school wise other than having a Statistics exam. I'll keep you guys posted.

I finished sketching the third page and started sketching the fourth (and final) page. I'll probably start inking this week. Depending on my HW load, I may be able to get them done by next weekend.

Aaaaaand my grey marker has unexpectedly dried up. As did my micron inking pen earlier. This is seriously turning into a game of "How can the Universe impede my progress Today?". Guh, I'll finish shading the pages on the computer come morning. Things to look forward to: - I take Devin's floof levels to an unexpected level.
- Large landscape shot? In my comic? Its more likely than you might think.
- Another episode of "Smokepaw is supposed to be grotesque, but my love for him bleeds into my pen magically transforming him into a cutie patootie."

Progress update: All 4 pages have been scanned and are open in photoshop. I've already fixed the levels/contrast. What's left: Tidy up paneling, add shading/gradients, and add text.
