Hey guys! Yes, the comic is still going. I'm just swamped with school work at the moment (two midterms and an essay just this weekend. *lays on floor*). I've made a tiny bit of progress on the next update though (one and a half inked pages). I've also got this PMV (picture music video) that I've been working on in secret for the last year. It's almost done! I've just got to edit together the music and visuals (don't know when I'll get time to do so, but hopefully sooner than later).

That is awesome! (About the PMV, not the fact you are swamped in schoolwork and midterms.)

How I Found ARD:

Alright, I'll post this now. Before I forget. You have to go really far back into my forum history before you find the first sequence of events that led up to this. Finding ARD even helped me rejoin the forums after a year hiatus.
Okay, okay. It all started when I found a fan fiction called From Fingers to Fur by Greebo. After I read it, I really wanted to find more stories like it. It was a twoleg to cat story, so I typed into the search engine on the forums all alterations of twoleg to cat. One fan fiction that turned up was The Power of Moonlight by -Mosstail-. What had set off the search results was a picture of the humanized characters of the story. It had nothing to do with a human becoming a cat. I left after looking through all the art. I hadn't been looking for this. Well, to shorten this up a little, I ended up thinking about it so much I came back. I loved the story and wanted to find more. -Mosstail-'s profile was so chaotic that I couldn't tell what was their's and what wasn't. So, instead, I looked through the profile of the person who was the official artist of the story. Wolfpelt10(1,2,3) had posted almost entirely on Power of Moonlight...expect twice on a place called A Rocky Foundation Part 2. Well, I came, looked, and left in disgust. I had never liked spoofs. But the same thing happen that had with PoM. I couldn't get the artistry and story out of my head. I came back, read part 1, and loved it. First time I had ever loved a spoof. And I looked in *Sparrow's profile for other things by her. I found Gemstone Clan (which she was a member of, not creator). Because of Gemstone Clan I finally came back to the forums. It was the first fan clan I ever joined. (Hey, sparrow, remember me back then? XD )

Your comic manged to change my mind about spoofs, even if just a little.

Why were you nervous? Did you know that before I joined I read all the pages up to 57 or something of that clan? I fell in love with your characters. Your medicine cats OC was my favorite character out of all of them.

Looking back I half wonder how you can RP with someone who couldn't spell welcome and spelled 'just' as 'gust'. XD
*Mint descends into nostalgia* Ah, I loved that clan. Such fun. I remember I had to resumit my first three characters...what? Four times? Then I just gave up and made one without powers.
Made my first forum friend in that clan. I came back to the forums because of it. That should be the key point here. XD

@thunderfire29 - Ha ha, I'm glad you enjoyed that bit. I had a poll for the spot of deputy and thought it was so great that people picked Cloudtail. He's a fun guy to write. Heh, and Devin and his excuses for making others shut up. I'm glad you're enjoying the comic!

@mintedstar - I always get nervous in new situations. *shrugs* And wow, that's awesome. I love it when new roleplayers read up on the old posts before jumping in. (saves so much explaining). Ahhaa! Thank you! (medicine cat oc, was that Darksong? its been a while, and Darky made new clans all the time, so I'd like cycle my ocs through various roles and clans whenever she made a new one). Heheh, I don't get too annoyed at misspellings as long as the rper is clearly trying.

In my opinion, not all spoofs are bad. Ones where Firestar runs around throwing waffles while Graystripe shoves bananas in his face and bees fall from the hecking sky aren't great.

@ EVERYONE UNDER THE SUN (or moon if you're like an owl or something):

On that note, here's the situation I'm in. (light vent? actually just the truth) Despite literally putting all major personal art projects (like this comic) on HOLD, my grades this semester are still pretty dismal. Its been rather... discouraging. Anyhow with all my schoolwork, I've been getting like an average of four hours of sleep if I'm being generous ( various allnighters during the week, scattered naps when i can, and just general nocturnal habits). This month I'm in no better situation. I've got to figure out my travel, storage and housing for when the school year is over. I am applying to my school's Bachelor of Fine Arts Illustration program, so I'm going to be fretting over my portfolio. Then there's the good ol' FINALS that like the show up consistently at the end of the semester as I'm sure you all can relate. So... basically what I'm getting at is I most likely won't update this coming month. Now i DO have an update in progress (its like 5ish pages? 1 page inked and two mid sketch phase), but I've got to direct freetime into filling a sketchbook for my portfolio. :/ Love you guys and I hope your year is going well. See y'all soon hopefully.

TL;DR: The comic is still on HAITUS. I know, I'm not happy about it either.

Thank  you! Sorry I didn't respond right away. I'm kind of really busy right now. (see above post) And yeah, go ahead and go for it. I don't own Cloudtail, nor do I own the concept of someone being a troll. I do ask though that you avoid using any direct dialogue or joke situations I've used in my comic (that is mine.).
