Also i just noticed this and literally there are 4 people that he's just gonna have a hard time accepting and I think that's hilarious) (Zelos, Zach, Leon and Edlred?) (Maybe Corona(?), she’s half fae...? So maybe half the group.) Damn you're right there are five of them XD and if you make that area 51 place with all the supernaturals in there Atlas is gonna have a breakdown I'm crying just from the mere thought of it omg XD) |

Christoper wheezed as he was placed on the bed. Despite his condition, he was doing his best to make the situation less serious. "I have suffered way worse than this! Does anyone remember the time that one jester stabbed me in the chest with a dagger cause I made fun of his hat?" He laughed at the memory before letting out a few hard coughs. "Or that time a magical raccoon tried to eat my face?"
Deep down, he was actually terrified that this might be the end for him. He still had so many plans! Christopher had hoped to see his son crowned and possibly married. He even thought about having a child perhaps one more interested in fighting and hunting. He turned his gaze to his queen wondering how she was fairing.

(Plan: they dead, they were supposed to be freed(because Reyna and Chris seem chill and nice) but one of the guards killed them due to hating magic.
Or maybe they were sentenced to death, or are alive. It’s up to you ;3.)

Eldred noted the girl who approached. Now she was a potential suspect in this whole thing, given that she’d lied about her noble status. He would be sure to keep an eye on her for the moment. Until he saw any proof of her involvement there was no point doing anything.
But her odds of actually being the perpetrator dropped a little when she offered some insight into what the curse on the king and queen may be. He would still monitor her, but he didn’t suspect we as much anymore.
“Nemean’s Curse?” Eldred repeated “I’ve heard of it, but isn’t it merely a legend?”
Admittedly, though the very little he did know about Nemean’s Curse seemed to fit with what was in front of him. And this girl said it had a test that required magic. Perhaps he could check to confirm whether this Nemean’s Curse was actually what the king and queen were ailing from.
He paused to cough before he spoke next, though he did his best to mask the true severity of the cough. It couldn’t become common knowledge yet, Eldred didn’t want it to.
“Very well, a test can’t hurt then,” Eldred responded calmly “I’ll perform the test, I have magic. Now how is this test performed?”
He was very practised at magic, and didn’t believe he’d have any major issues in performing this little test. It was better to be safe and confirm it anyway. Still, there was something about this girl that struck Eldred as odd, and he couldn’t be sure what it was.
At her next words, though, Eldred merely shook his head.
“Impossible,” Eldred replied “they’ve been dead for some time. They were intended to be released but were killed by a guard who feared the magic they possessed. I thought that such a shame, I remember serving Archimedes and his family before their fall.”

When he admitted to having magic, she had to hide her shock with a hand over her mouth, eyes wide. He was advisor, in the castle...he had...magic?
“You have magic?” She questioned outloud, her voice high in surprise. “You are you not dead? People hate magic users!” She then added. Part of her irritated at the luck. He was a magic user, yet she couldn’t begin to want to use her powers.
She blinked owlishly, nodding at his offer.
But then he claimed it was impossible, and her heart plummeted, and despite her best attempts, her featured did too, yet only prying eyes could spot it, and with her facing Eldred, it was perhaps only him that could. He explained the situation and she lowered her face, nodding. I forget so easily, but father mentioned you as a child. Those words almost slipped past her lips, but as soon as her mouth opened to utter them, she slammed it close.
Her dismay was paramount, her parents were dead, as she suspected. She couldn’t help it, “And what happened to the guard?” She was even more determined to help the king and queen, given that they would have released her parents had the guard not killed them, but she had a burning curiousity to know.
She then finally spoke up after some pause, she trusted him, at least somewhat.
“If we can go somewhere, preferably alone, I can show you the test,” she lit a small ball of magic in her hand, facing only him, so only he could see it. She wasn’t offering to give him directions, she was offering to show him the test. But she kept her voice lower, so others such as Drusilla couldn’t hear. She had some trust in him, he was a magic user such as herself. What could he gain by turning her in. And he knew her parents! She could trust him, she was sure.

(Just going through all the secrets in this RP thus far.
Zelos-Only Leon and Zach know he’s the creature(so far) and only Leon knows how old he is.
Leon-Only Zelos knows she’s a Valdera, only Zach, Zelos and Eldred know she has magic.
Eldred-Some know he has magic(Zahavi, probably Drusilla, Leon), no one knows about his sickness. He also killed his wife with magic, but that’s also rather unknown.
Zander-No one knows he’s the one who poisoned, though some may suspect he did something/not trust him.
Corona-No one knows she’s a half-fae.
Zach-Most don’t know about the magic except Leon, and Zelos. No one knows about his fire ability.
Atlas-
Drusilla-
Zahavi-
Isabella-
(Out of known secrets, at least 3/5 of our group has some pretty big ones and possibly more.
Oof.

Yeah Eldred has quite a few secrets apparently x if anyone wants their characters to know about his backstory that’s fine because honestly he has so many secrets I feel bad haha. The fact that he killed his wife might not even end up coming up in roleplay actually
Though to balance it out Isabella has no secrets XD she’s very much an open book)

Just kidding, Dru's the one with a secret. Her father worked as a military spy and she followed in his footsteps for a few years. Hence why she's so keen on paying attention to the little details. It's not a huge secret, just something she doesn't like to talk about. I imagine Eldred would know, though. ))

That’s sad...
I’m Highkey thinking of how to connect the killer of Leon’s parents to one of the people on the trip, if possible.
If not, I have another character(who won’t join the trip) but may be someone thee group has to fight, another witch/sorceress who is...super terrible? It’s the character Holly was based on but I’m still contemplating.
Also yes, def Leo, let’s meet at Area 51 XD.
