Clandestined
Plot:
In a Kingdom lives a prince/princess. One who, for most of their life, has been carefree, learning about how to rule one day. However, one day, their parents are poisoned, a type of poison that’s like a curse. The cure for the curse is a known object, but it is considered legend, and most people claim that it doesn’t exist. Refusing to accept their parents’ death that will inevitably come if they aren’t cured, they set out to find the cure themselves. They team up with unlikely partners, a secretive vigilante who seems to steal and vandalize certain areas but occasionally save people, a pickpocket who seems petty in their actions, a witchunter who is also a drunkard, an old man/woman who is wise but doesn’t want to on the quest, and a peasant/merchant who suffers from failing business in the family.
Years before, before the princess’/prince’s parents ruled, a war had occured. The old rulers were dethroned by the grandparent’s of the prince/princess, and many of the old ruling family died. The Valdera family had fallen, leaving the new one in charge. However, a person heavily related to the Vadera family decided to join the court of the new family, and they are the one who poisoned the king and Queen, and had done so in secret. Their goals are to return the debt of betrayal that was owed.
Yet, with all the secrets and deception, the knot that they have made may never become undone.

World:
In the world of Clandestined, many things should be noted. The setting of this RP is Medieval, thus, technology can be added in, but overall the atmosphere will be set for medieval, therefore all technology would be rather basic, like maybe lights, and other minimal things. In a way, you can kind of think Good Omens with some of the setting, except, think of that as medieval.
As for the world itself, there’s a Monarchy, and it rules. However it can be overthrown, as it was years before the current RP. Along with this, some supernatural things exist, such as witches and their small amount of magic. Other things like shifters, fae, and more can be added if it’s suggested for a role! However, anything that isn’t normal tends to be hunted down, killed, or handed into authorities for the crime of even possessing those abilities. Witches are very feared, and most tend to be in hiding. Same would got for any shifters or other creatures. Creatures like dragons exist as well, but are rare.

(So instead of an official joining process, you can just post the character image here, maybe a name(and maybe I’ll add them eventually), but for the most part, I want personalities to be developed in the RP to leave creative freedom.

(For example, Leon will have all kinds of powers due to her Witch roots. (one of the reasons her family was conquered)

(I may change it that way magic users are rare but exist if people want, but I think it makes sense this way. But like, that’s probably it on magic users.
Also, I’m deciding on if Leon should be Leon’s real name or not, I’m thinking no because I have this idea that like, most descendants of the family were killed out of fear/anger, so they had to change their identities or something like that.)

(Leon’s going to be such a sad character at times, but like, her backstory kind of sucks. So she’s going to like, hate everyone at first.
I could see her, as her ‘vigilante’ self befriending Zach before the current RP, but like, friend-enemy wise, because they both steal at times, but she usually steals from the castle or rich merchants.)
