Maybe I should go read the plot again ] [ Blackmail is Zahavi's strongest tool to rope everyone into doing what he wants. I don't think he could manage to do it any other way, tbh, he's kind of weak little string bean who couldn't threaten a rabbit if he tried. ]

A haze of smells - drifting off from the various delicacies being prepped to leave the kitchen - sparked Zacharias' senses. Every so often, the double doors to the main dining hall would swing open, revealing a lavish display of colored lanterns and equally colorful noblemen and women. They sported bizarre, flowing outfits which threatened to trip themselves and others at any given moment. What really snatched his gaze, however, was the plethora of jewels which adorned each and every person's neck, wrists, ears, you name it. Zacharias scoffed, then flitted his eyes across the dish-washing table. A young boy, probably around his age, was gathering up a tray of small glasses filled with a red liquid - which he presumed to be some sort of wine.
Realizing his chance to escape the kitchen, Zach narrowed his eyes at a one of the glasses. It shattered in the boy's hands, spewing red liquid all over his white suit and agape expression. Zacharias darted over, opting politely to take the tray and glasses. Amidst the commotion of the boy attempting to clean off his shirt and a cook angrily swiping away the glass, Zach sliced through the double doors. With the tray balancing precariously on his palm, Zacharias dodged past groups of dancing couples. He began making his way over to the individuals who seemed preoccupied with the food, then started his mission innocently by offering drinks to the people that were dining at various round tables.
"Care for a drink?" He would say, holding out a small glass cautiously before some buoyant guest would snatch it from his hands. He walked around to a number of tables, passing by a young boy who looked mysteriously similar. Before he could speak to the child, however, a rather... large lady called over for him. Zacharias spun on his heels and walked obediently - albeit begrudgingly- in her direction.
"What is it?" She snapped rudely, gesturing to the glasses. Zacharias paused slightly, unsure of how to answer a question he didn't know. What was he serving? "I'm very sensitive to anything strong." She added.
"Ohh, don't worry," Zach said instinctively, though his gaze was focused on the bejeweled bracelet which she waved about carelessly. "It's, uh... red wine! Yes, not strong at all."
Somehow beyond satisfied with his answer, the woman plucked a glass from his tray. In that moment, her bracelet silently unhooked and gently fell onto the silver platter. Perfect.
Unnoticed for the time being, Zach smiled and quickly moved on to another table. A spewing sound pierced the air behind him, making the boy quicken his pace.
Mental note; it's not wine.
With a quick flick of his gaze, the bracelet scurried up his sleeve and wrapped around his bicep where it would go - hopefully - unnoticed throughout the rest of the night. He set the tray down onto a table brimming with other drinks, then took a rag from his waist and began cleaning up a spill of what some drunken man must've caused.
Oh the things I do to fill my stomach, he thought, wiping away the last of the mess. Speaking of hunger... Zach's eyes scanned the area for some food. It might be a bit off-putting to see a server eating something, but maybe he could just slip in a few bites here and there.
With that thought in mind, Zacharias filed over to one of the many tables which hosted the desserts. He plucked the top macaroon off of what seemed to be a mountain made out of them, then quickly popped the whole thing into his mouth. After that, he began gathering a tray of desserts for a 'guest' so as to not be seen as suspicious.
"It's impossible to keep track of him anyways." Zacharias recognized that voice anywhere. The voice of someone who had helped him pull off the biggest heist of his life, and the voice who oh-so-often managed to steal something which he had been eyeing up beforehand.
It was... rather strange, he had to admit. Actually being able to see not just her eyes - though she was wearing a rather modest outfit.

(( Oof, these aren't the best, my bad! ))
Zahavi knew that Corona was right. He should attempt to have some fun like his parents wanted him to, whether or not he actually wanted to be present. Ready as he would ever be, he took one last moment to fix his slightly crooked collar and then let out a loud sigh. "Yes, I'm ready. Time to get this disastrous night over with."
The worst part of any event was stepping outside for the first time. He had to keep his head held high, his shoulders squared and his back straight. It was possibly the most uncomfortable way to walk in the history of the entire world. Of course, he couldn't join the growing crowd in the courtyard below, but rather had to head over to where his parents were located. Rather spend the night actually partying, he had to greet guests and look presentable. As much as he had accepted his future role of being king some day, these were the responsibilities that made him wish he had an older brother to be king instead.
Reyna stood next to her husband, surveying the crowd as they mingled, danced, and indulged in the food. There was always a part of her that enjoyed the politics of a good gala. The careful words she'd have to put into play to make someone her ally or her enemy. After so many years of practice, she had gotten good at it. But, there was another part of her that hated just the mere idea of them. Someone could always be plotting against her and her family. And though he refused to accept it, Zahavi was always a target. He was her only son and she'd do anything to protect him. Speak of the devil. The Queen smiled as her son approached and extended her hands to him. "Zahavi," she greeted her voice light as she took his hands into hers. He looked down at the outfit he was wearing and was delighted to see that it was one she had specifically gotten for him. "You look very handsome tonight, my love." Leaning forward she placed a light kiss on her son's forehead. (Reyna's dress)

(I mean, we talked about making 18 minimum, but then again he’s a prince so he’d be expected to marry soon.
So yeah, I’m alright with it, and it seems Leo is too so :3. But if possible make him 17 or 18, that way it’s closer to the adult age, and he would still be youngest and the baby. (Legit everyone saving him). To me, it makes sense for him to be younger but it’s really up to everyone else, as we did discuss it on a whole other thread.
I’m changing Corona to 24 because I want a gal in my character’s ages, and I had two that were within two years of one another so I’m boosting her up to what I originally planned for her,
Oh goodness poor Drusilla and Corona XD.)
