Just curious, why do you think Slash is dumber than Darkstripe? possibly they found him to be a lame villain and equated it to him being a dumb villain, but weren't referring to his intellect, just his poor villainous performance. I think. |

Just curious, why do you think Slash is dumber than Darkstripe? I was thinking the same thing I like to think Darkstripe is smarter than we give him credit for even just slightly. I was actually hoping Darkstripe might make an appearance in AVoS as a villain with him trying to prove that he's just as capable as the other DF cats were. I think I agree with this list though |

Actually, I think Tigerstar was one of the smarter villains. He knew when and when not to make a move. The few times he slipped, though, were his downfall. But overall, his actions and plans were almost flawless. I agree. For example, he didn't just rush to kill Bluestar, he started an attack so that he could blame it on rogues and distract everyone so nobody would notice what he did. His plan only failed because Fireheart showed up. |

i think tigerstar and hawkfrost were pretty smart
and i guess mapleshade because she found out ways to kill the cats without anyone finding out
sol is definitely one of the smartest

Sol and Mapleshade were the smartest to me.
And I have to disagree, but I think Tigerstar wasn't the smartest, neighter the dumbest. He was smart but still he commited several and major mistakes that lead him into his own destruction.
1.- He killed Redtail in front of Ravenpaw.
2.- He lied about Redtail's death in a dumb way. If Bluestar had had a little common sense and ask Crookedstar about Redtail's death or any other RiverClan warrior about it he'd be in serious problems.
3.- He didn't kill off Bluestar when he had the opportunity. No, he'd better chat whit her about how he was planning to kill her.
4.-He believed himself as invinsible and ignored Boulder's warnings, leading to his death.
5.- He never went for the leader's first. The leader is the Clan's courage and hope, if you kill him, the Clan will lose that hope. But no. So many tactics, so many moons of traini.g and he went for the leader at the last moment and he lose.
He had his smart tactics, but I blame more the bad writing in TPB and OotS than Tigerstar himself.
I find her sons and daughters smarter than he was.

Just curious, why do you think Slash is dumber than Darkstripe? I thought that Slash was dumb because he was trying to take over the forest, but did a bad job at it. He had weak army because he wasn't properly feeding his cats, and he made it really easy for cats to spy on him. He was such a bad leader that the spies he sent turned against him. He was also too stubborn to admit any weakness and came across as arrogant. He combined Brokenstar's lack of planning with Tigerstar's arrogance. Darkstripe on the other hand seemed more pathetic than stupid. Darkstripe was either extremely devoted to or extremely dependent on Tigerstar and was absolutely useless to him to the point where he seemed more like an annoyance to the him and the rest of the Dark Forest. Despite this, he had shown to be sneaky at times. He has been Tigerstar's inside eyes in ThunderClan for some time before he slipped up. Even though Firestar was suspicious of him, it took him a long time to find evidence to convict him, even with Brackenfur watching. He even figured out that he was being watched. |

Not going to put them all down because I'm lazy, but I think the dumbest is definitely Darkstripe. Like dude, what did you think you'd acomplish by feeding deathberries to Sorrelkit? Like "Oh no, this kit suddenly died for no reason!"
Smartest would be Mapleshade. She tricked Crookedstar for a good portion of his life, and manipulated him into thinking she had cursed everyone he loved to die. She's kinda like the person who isn't in charge, but does actually run everything.
