He's so insignificant. What do you guys think of Rooktail from the little you've seen of him? I think he seemed pretty nice in Goosefather's Curse, especially when he brought prey to Daisytoe.

He's Moonflower and Goosefeather's dad, isn't he?
Whoever he is, I can't remember him.

I don't remember anything he actually did, just that Goosekit wanted to grow up to be a warrior exactly like him. On one hand, he must be a pretty good warrior. On the other, pretty much every kit thinks that about their father (excluding the obvious murder-y ones).
He seems like a nice guy. It's worth noting that pretty much everyone in Goosefeather's Curse, perhaps even including Goosefeather himself, is insignificant. None of them show up in any important way in any book other than Bluestar's Prophecy.

He seemed to be a good cat and father, though nothing particularly noteworthy from what I can recall.

Both he and Daisytoe and the majority of the older cats from Goosefeather's time are already dead by the time Bluekit and Snowkit are born.

Aw, that's sad that they never got to meet their grandchildren. I wish there was more of Rooktail, I LOVE his name

I meant Goosefeather and Moonflower are in Bluestar's Prophecy (as well as Sunkit and Featherkit becoming leader and medicine cat), but not in any other book in a significant role.

His only contribution was being the dad of a medicine cat who slowly lost his mind. So yeah not super important.

Speaking of names, another name I really like that I saw is Toadskip, skip is an adorable suffix, and Idk if it has been used more than once.

I'm working on a report of warrior name frequencies right now actually (it's finals week and my stress relief is putting things into unnecessary spreadsheets XD), and it looks like both the Rook prefix and the skip suffix have only been used once.

That sounds like fun I made a list of all the pelt colors, eye colors, and toms/she-cats in the series like a week ago XD gray cats came in first place for the pelt color, blue eyes for the eye colors, or amber, I forgot, but I think it was blue, and there were more toms than she-cats
