Who are all the tortoiseshell/calico toms in the series?
The ones that I can think of are..
Redtail Sol Shellfur Molewhisker, I know it doesn't say that Molewhisker is one, but he technically is a chocolate tortoiseshell, which I think is kinda cute, that he is a tortie like Poppyfrost, but has cream in his fur like Berrynose.

I think one of the Robinwings is

I kind of wish Sol was the only tortie tom in the series. They could have used his coat color as a rarity that made him more charming and mysterious to the clan cats and honestly might have made him a more memorable antagonist
I didn't realize Molewhisker was a tortie until now. I imagined him as a dark tabby

kinkajouYou're right it's one of the ones from RiverClan, his design looks adorable! @annab That would be really awesome I picture Molewhisker looking like this, because I like to think that he has white in his fur too, like Poppyfrost

Redwillow kinda counts. I think tortie when I see his sprite.

Ripplestar and Rowanstar. Might help to note it's SKYCLAN Rowanstar from CoTC.

So many with R names XD Would Sandynose and Finleap count? They're brown and ginger, just not mottled like most tortoiseshells.

More of an obscure one, but Wouldn't Brownpaw from Shadowclan be a Chocolate Tortoiseshell? He's described to have a small bit of cream on him.

@mellowix Yes I think he would be kinkajouI think Spiderleg would be a chimera, rather than a tortoiseshell, I'm not an expert or even a novice at genetics though, so XD I just imagine tortoiseshells to have a color from the red color gene, red, cream, yellow, etc, and one from the black color gene, black, grey, brown, cinnamon (which looks red, but it isn't) Maybe ALL of these male torties are chimeras.

No. Sandynose's and Finleap's designs are more working with a flame point look than tortie. Because of the purely ginger legs. That doesn't make them torties at all. It certainly doesn't read like one either.

ant? he was described to be a black and brown splotched tom. I imagined his markings looking like a doberman's, but he came to mind

I just want to put in that tortoiseshell toms are rare and that they are usually sterile. This is also true of calico toms.

I just want to put in that tortoiseshell toms are rare and that they are usually sterile. This is also true of calico toms. That's pretty common knowledge to most fans by this point. The writers didn't realize that when they first made a few tortoiseshell toms, so it's kind of more common for non-sterile tortoiseshell toms to within the Warriors universe. Redtail is a good example of this.

I'd love to see them explore that! It would also be something not a lot of clanmates would understand, so it could make a great subplot.

For Finleap/Sandynose (This would also include Yellowfang's father Brackenfoot), they'd probably be specially be a Flame point Siamese.
As for Spiderleg, I find he's better off as a dark Burmese.

That's so cute! Maybe they live in a super cold climate, because Siamese grow darker the colder it is, which is why they're brown, and not white lol

Yeah, especially now with everything frozen over, maybe they'll become pure black cats before the winter is over lol

Woah! That's a lot. Here are some of the things I did in my universe!
- Molewhisker becomes a colorpoint. His points are darker brown and the rest of his body is a paler creamy-brown.
- Sol becomes a chimera.
- Redtail becomes a trans tom.
- Robinwing becomes ginger.
- Ripplestar becomes black.
- Redwillow becomes trans.
- Rowanstar becomes ginger.
- Ant becomes some sort of mutation mimicking the Doberman breed in dogs. (not sure on this one).
- Fircone becomes light gray-brown.
- Ferretclaw becomes gray.
