They told me to be careful. But did I listen? Blood was smeared around my muzzle and ringing filled my ears. I'm a monster just like they said. A monster they created. I finally snapped and now here I am, hovering over a dead warrior.
The news that a rouge killed a clan deputy filled the forest. Even someone like me who no longer has many ties with the clans have heard. It wasn't even a sunrise ago and all the clans were looking for me it seemed. His voice still echoed in my head. About his plan to kill some of my family, my group, after they accidentally killed Frostedtip. Breezeheart's mate who happened to be carrying his kits was chasing after my comrades and ended up getting caught in a fox trap. It was an easy mistake. After all, she looked very much like our target. It wasn't a pretty sight and no one was able to help. The jet black tom didn't know I was part of that group. After all, to protect ourselves we would always split up and change names often. We were just a group of claws-for-hire. Killing anyone for the right amount of prey and herbs. The problem with that is something you make bonds with the wrong cats. And clan cats were the worst of all.
My name for now is Bear. But it will keep changing as long as I keep killing and no one is going to stop me from that life style. No one

This is an interesting concept, there's some real potential for a longer story here!

Yeah! I'm not sure if it's a concept that's been done before, but it'll be interesting to usurp the Clan norms with rogues that actually do systematic damage. It might even change how the Clans deal with problems, if they can hire outsiders to do their dirty work for them without expending their own warriors. Do the Clans band together to stop the threat, or will it be revealed that the leaders have been separately engaging these cats for their services and come up with excuses not to drive them out? Definitely worth exploring.

I would! Although I tend to be fairly time-poor so I won't commit to a 100 page fic lol

Only if you want to, but I'd recommend planning it out first a little and finishing what stories you already have. Just so you're not overworked and stretched out too far on ideas

I agree. STWIBAG is only maybe half complete and I'm going to be working on a third story for that series afterwards

Omg do it! I don't know how you'll do that exactly, but now I really want to find out. I mean, SPOILER, Ghostsight is dead and you're already on Sunpelt's POV. I'm curious as to what next you could do to further the series.
