Bring em' on! I want to hear some wild, mind boggling so crazy it actually makes sense theories!
Mine is why Mistystar lives so long.
Back in the forest when cats were being taken by twolegs Mistystar was captured. They injected her with steroids, immune system boosters, vaccines and probiotics and anti-biotics making her partially immortal- while she can be killed by another cat, she won't die of natural causes or health issues because she's hyper healthy. StarClan knew this and decided to ensure she would become leader so that no one, including her, would figure it out. So unless she is killed she will live on as the leader of RiverClan even though she's 20 years old (about) which is longer than most domestic cats live.

Hey, Cloudtail, Brightheart, Graystripe and Leafpool were also captured and they all live/lived a long time and had no serious health issues. Maybe you're on to something

Cats can't count very high except med cats. They need to be able to know how much of something a warrior needs.Mothwing doesn't believe in Starclan so during Mistystar's warrior ceremony Starclan gave her like 60 lives until Mothwing realized what was happening and stopped it

Bluestar made Tigerclaw deputy because she felt partially responsible for Thistleclaw's outcome and didn't want Tigerclaw to follow the same path- she saw some of the samethings in him that she saw in Thistleclaw, but she thought she would be able to help him channel them for the good of the clan.

The oldest cat in the Clans isn't Purdy or Mistystar, it's actually Robinwing. It's not 4 separate cats, it's actually the same cat. Humans have actually noticed the Clans, so send a trained kittypet as a spy. Every few years, Robinwing will fake their death and return to their housefolk to have their pelt and gender surgeonly changed. They're currently spied on the 4 Clan and their last target will be Shadowclan. Robinwing will soon become the world record holder as the oldest cat, at almost 40 years old (Actual record is 38.)
The Dark Forest cats like Snowtuft, Silverhawk, Sparrowfeather, etc. ain't dead spirits at all. They're living trainees practising in their dreams just like Ivypool and many others. The only reason they're more trusted is that they've trained for far longer. They actually all Skyclan exiles. Currently, they're planning their next attack on the Clans in Squirrelflight's Hope.

Mousewhisker was actually a tragic character who could've been an interesting protagonist. He was frustrated to be overshadowed by his brother all the time, so he tried to earn his step-father/mentor's approval by impressing Spiderleg. But pride comes before the fall-- literally, as Cinderpaw is injured trying to rescue him when he climbs too far up a tree. His guilt drives him to cut ties with the denmate he once called friend, but he does become friends with Hollypaw over their shared concern for Cinderpaw. After a failed attempt at connecting with the pretty RiverClan apprentice Minnowpaw, he watches as not one, but two she-cats fall head-over-tail for Berrypaw.
After becoming a warrior, he is given the chance to prove himself in battle during Eclipse, but-- to his mortification-- this chance is obliterated by sheer bad luck, as he jabs his eye with a stick on the way. His frustration only grows as his sister Heathertail is chosen over him to go on the important journey to find Sol. Worse still, his one close friend is lost forever, as Hollyleaf reveals her and her littermates' heritage before dying in a rock-slide. The sorrow and bitterness within Mousewhisker grows to a fever pitch, to the point that he is a prime target for Dark Forest manipulation. His insecurity and jealousy is preyed upon, and his shadowy mentor (for some reason I'm thinking Snowtuft) convinces him to train in order to atone for his past mistakes and prove himself to be as great a warrior as his brother. His redemption begins when Cinderheart, revealing her true nature as Cinderpelt, saves his life when he is poisoned. The two reconcile. Hollyleaf returns, and after initial suspicion, Mousewhisker is one of her chief supporters-- until the upcoming battle with the Dark Forest is announced. Mousewhisker must come to terms with the trap he has fallen into and the lies he has believed. In the final battle, he chooses to fight alongside his true Clanmates. He is crushed by Hollyleaf's death, and the judgement and mistrust of his Clanmates after the reveal of his former Dark Forest allegiances is almost to much to bear-- until he is forgiven at last, and decides to spend the remainder of his days content with his place as a background character.

Could Brokenstar be Littlecloud's father? I mean, Littlecloud doesn't have a father listed, and they're both brown tabbies. I'm sure there's a 13953053953 of other possibilities of who his father is, but that's just one I thought of.

Kittypets, especially those who are more closer to their owners, are able to understand some parts of human speech. This is why graystripe, firestar, and other kittypets are able to name twoleg objects by their actual name.
Humans and cats both speak the same language but express it differently. If a german cat went to britain, they wouldn't be able to understand the cats there. Also, areas can have dialects as well.
Cats can come up with slang, but this is mostly a kittypet thing as they don't know every human thing and might need to make slang for it. Clan cats rarely come up with slange because they are kinda like proper families who teach their kids how to speak properly.
(i like language)

Princess in the original arc said that she could understand some frequently used human words her housefolk used and understood the general gist of what they were trying to say, so your theory is supported by canon!

There's very few cats in the Dark Forest that are chill. Scratch that there's only one that's chill but no one has ever seen him since because if he interacts with any of the other cats there he would probably pick up their habits of craziness.

Leafpool and Squirrelflight got pregnant at the same time, so when they left ThunderClan, they gave birth together. Leafpool had Jayfeather and Hollyleaf, and Squirrelflight had Lionblaze. They raised them all as siblings so Leaf's secret could stay hidden, then when the truth came out, they let Lionblaze believe he was also Leafpool's son so that he wouldn't be disowned by his cousins for being the "real child".

Patch from Tigerstar and Sasha is the same Patch from Firestar's Quest who later becomes Patchfoot (they even have very similar manga designs!)

Firestar and his kin have started a mafia and are trying to keep Firestar related cats in power so that their family will stay in power. Bramblestar was allowed because he mated into the mafia, and soon, after some careful planning, his wife will take his place.

Sol is Mapleshade's son, Patchkit, reincarnated. His hatred of the clans stems from more than just SkyClan rejecting him.
