(I was thinking the same with Holly and Burton.
I want Holly to either get salty with some tribute, or be like there for a conversation kind of making a friend or just talking.
I think that is also perfect with Alessandro and Macaria :3.)

Sorry the forums died XD
Okay so I’ll write a thing for Macaria and Alessandro
I don’t know for Burton - who would he get along with or not get along with?
As for Holly, I feel like she’d get along with Amadrya and when they saw eachother in the arena they would just like give eachother a head jut of recognition XD
And she could end up quite protective over Astrape maybe? So they could both work)

Any of those works. Amadrya and Holly would be interesting though.

Macaria Slayte The innocent flower and the serpent under it Macaria seemed to catch the eye of the boy from District One. His outfit was certainly striking, black and red and encrusted with gems so that he seemed to glitter from afar. He was genuinely pretty cute, she had to admit, and he seemed to be looking her up and down like he thought the same of her.
So she strolled over confidently, giving a charming smile and swinging her hips as she approached the other tribute.
“Hi,” she greeted “I’m Macaria, but you already know that. And you’re Alessandro, right?”
She tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear as she spoke, looking him up and down in an evaluating kind of way, as if she was checking to see if he was worth her time, but also checking him out.
“You’re the son of a victor, yes?” she asked “I must admit I’m looking forward to seeing you in action in the Arena. You certainly look the part of a victor.”

Sapphire smiled knowing that she looked hot. She loved her outfit and felt like a literal goddess. "I think we are the best looking ones here!" She said proudly as she looked at the other tributes. Mean one of the tributes literally looked like a tree. There were a few exceptions but she kept that to herself.

Astrape Vetton This above all: to thine own self be true Astrape had noted the boy from the next chariot - the District 6 one - had seemed to wander in order to check out the other tributes. She considered it for a moment and, deciding that he looked friendly enough to talk to, she stepped away from her own chariot to speak to him.
“Hey”, she smiled “I’m Astrape. District 5...obviously. Sorry, I just couldn’t help but notice you seem closest to my age out of everyone here, and I thought I should maybe say hi.”
She looked over his outfit, nodding her approval.
“You look great, by the way. How’re you feeling about the parade?”
That could probably segue into a more meaningful conversation about the Games if they wanted to. If not, it could stay a relatively cheerful, if superficial, conversation about the parade and the costumes.

- - - - - Robin ÉttienneRobin was nervous, Sure, her outfit was representative of her district, orange, yellows and places of black that resembles coals. It was also unique a unitard, but with a legging on one side. She felt amazing and looked great, but that wasn’t the issue.
The issue was, she didn’t know any of these tributes, and she was really young. She didn’t want to die, and she was scared that she would. She wanted to go home, so her sister wouldn’t worry.
She knew those chances were low, so she kept to herself, shaking slightly despite what she wanted.

Amadrya Darrow The fire-eyed maid of smoky war
Amadrya saw the girl from the next chariot wandering, perhaps to scope out the other tributes. The District 8 girl was in a tasteful blue and gold outfit that seemed to suit her very well.
Since it would make the wait until the parade pass quicker, and it certainly wouldn’t hurt to chat to the other tributes, she decided to head over and say hello.
So she moved away from her position by her chariot to stop and chat with this girl, giving her a nod with greeting.
“Hi, I’m Amadrya,” she said
She looked down at her outfit, at the chariots, at all the over-the-top pageantry around them.
“Sorry, I just hate this,” she said with a roll of her eyes “I mean, the outfits are nice and all, but it’s not enough to kill us, but they have to make us perform to impress them?”
She didn’t know why she wasn’t saying this to this girl. She just seemed like someone who understood. Someone perhaps willing to hear - or contribute to - a little bit of complaining about the Capitol and the Games.
She knew it was dangerous as well, but nobody seemed to be listening to their conversation, and the general noise around them made it hard to eavesdrop.

- - - - - Alessandro RuneHis eyes focused on Sapphire for a moment, nodding numbly. He thought her wrong, Sure, he though he was stunning, and her outfit fit her, but he was enraptured in Macaria’s charm.
He watched carefully as she approached, his face going into a smirk, though his eyes roamed her again. He found her charming, and he nodded to her, holding up a hand to stop her, though not entirely rude, “I know who you are, Macaria,” he said after she was done, “I should know my pack, afterall.” He added.
He nodded to his name, he wasn’t at all surprised she knew it. He was happy to speak to her, though it didn’t show through his pride.
“I am, my mother, Rain, won her games.” He responded curtly, standing a bit taller at her words, though he was already rather tall regardless. “Thanks, you too,” he responded, his tenor turning soft, “You do look like a very fitting victor, Macaria.” He finished.

- - - - - Carlo ValentineCarlo sighed, he wondered if Remus was disappointed in him. He was the second to youngest tribute, only behind...
He yelled at the voices turning to face the girl in question, Astrape, the youngest. He waved slightly, smile wavering, “Sorry!” He burst out, “I really didn’t mean to like, man-scream at you!” He floundered. He looked a little flustered and embarrassed. “Nice to meet you Astrape,” he said, once he calmed some. “I’m Carlo, and I think you look dashing as well!” He said with a light wink.
His hand went to the back of his neck, smiling softly, “I’m from District 6, it’s really cool to meet you, seriously! We’re the youngest tributes, I think you might be a few months younger than me,” he rambled on. She was pretty, but her dress that was golden wasn’t the reason. He thought her personality was already endearing, and he held out his hand, “Nervous, I know that most of us, if not all, look stunning, but it feels so fake?” He added, frowning, “What about you?”

Macaria Slayte The innocent flower and the serpent under it She chuckled when he said that he knew who she was, and that he should know his own pack.
“But of course,” she replied “I ought to have known you would have done your homework.”
When he complemented her, though, she was unsure as to whether she had felt a little bit of a real flush beneath her makeup. Surely it was unlikely, because this flirting was just manipulation, or that was her intention. Capturing the attention of this boy so she could use him in the Arena.
Indeed it seemed her flattery about him being the son of a victor and that he would make a good victor himself seemed to have worked like a charm. There was an arrogance there, she could appeal to his ego easily. And his mother? Ideal for manipulation. He clearly desired her and District 1 to be proud of him. She could use that if she needed to.
“Thank you, that’s very kind. And how does your girlfriend feel about you fighting in the Games, hm?”
There, the little prying question, hinting at her having interest in him. Perfect. It was better that she had started this little flirting game now rather than in the Arena, where she would have very limited time and a lot of things to focus on.

- - - - - Holly AlandriaHolly sighed softly, she knew Livia was a kind girl. But she still found herself hating the Capital as she looked at the others, especially Carlo and Astrape, 14 years of age, they didn’t deserve to die.
She lifted her green eyes to look at Amadrya, who was speaking to her. A fact that kind of shocked Holly. But Holly liked the outfit the other girl wore, it reminded her of the forest, a very sitting outfit for the tribute of District 7. “The name’s Holly,” she responded, turning to give the other girl her attention.
She was pleasantly shocked by the response she got, so this girl shared her sentiments. Holly agreed with her. “Honestly, I’ve never been so dressed up, it’s nice, because I know my stylist is genuine, she’s from 8, and young. But I hate pleasing the Capital. They are sending us to die, it must be amusing to treat us like pawns before we die. The only reason I haven’t said anything yet is because of my District partner, if I’m being completely honest.” She shrugged, glancing at the other girl, who she was gaining respect for.
She already made a mistake be being Burton’s friend, she couldn’t afford that with Amadrya, but she could respect her. Maybe route for her too.
“It’s just so fun to dress us up, put us in a cage, and see us all die, it’s a bunch of crap, the whole ‘odds in our favor’, everyone in Panem knows they pick and choose who lives and dies.”

Astrape Vetton This above all: to thine own self be true Evidently, Astrape had startled the District 6 boy. His subsequent reaction in turn startled Astrape a little, but mostly she just felt bad for having given him a shock. She was pretty quiet in general, which gave her an unintentional habit of kind of...sneaking up on people.
“Oh, no, I’m sorry for scaring you,” she said with an apologetic smile “It’s really nice to meet you too, Carlo. I know, it’s nice I’m not the only young tribute here. But yeah, I think there are maybe a few months in it.”
She gave a proper smile when he complimented her outfit in return, but when he said he was nervous and asked how she felt, she gave a little nod. When he offered his hand, she shook it.
“Honestly? I’m really nervous too. I don’t really like big crowds all looking at me, so this whole experience isn’t the greatest for me,” she admitted “but you’re right, all of this is so fake. Like I love all of these outfits, but this isn’t me. This is some pretty, glamorous, Capitol version of me.”
She had almost said a better her, but she knew that wasn’t true. The Capitol version of her would definitely not be better than the District 5 version of her

Amadrya Darrow The fire-eyed maid of smoky war
Amadrya listened to Holly’s words, nodding in agreement. And when Holly said she hadn’t said anything for the sake of her district partner, Amadrya couldn’t help but agree.
“I know, me too. We’re not properly allying in the arena, I’m just going to be a friendly face if he needs me, but he’s a good kid and I don’t want to put him at any risk, or my cousins at home. It’s really nice to talk to someone they can’t hurt to get to me. So are you allying with your district partner, then? Worried they’ll hurt him in the Arena if you speak out?”
She assumed that was the case, and she got that. Amadrya would always choose to suffer in silence if other people were at risk. But luckily, here was a girl she didn’t need to protect in the Arena. Someone she could talk to without any repercussions for Holly herself.
“I know. We don’t get any choice in any of this and it sickens me. Some of the tributes this year are young, and it’s awful.”
She knew there would be another young tribute here, too, if she hadn’t volunteered. Aspen, with red hair like the girl Astrape, a twelve year old who wouldn’t have lasted five minutes in that Arena most likely.
“I mean, some of the Careers are awful but they’re still kids like the rest of us really, right? And they’re only messed up because the Capitol and their districts made them like that. We’re all the same really, and that’s the hard part.”

- - - - - Alessandro RuneAlessandro scanned her again. It registered that all of this could be some sick trick, but he found the feeling going away. He knew it was dangerous, but trick or not, he could play along have fun with it.
“I have,” he hummed, voice curt and to the point again. It seems he only complimented when he felt honest about it, he may have been ignorant, but he wasn’t a liar. But indeed, his attention was on her, and no one else. Even his own district partner, Sapphire was background noise to Macaria.
His greatest ally, in his mind, but in reality his potential greatest enemy.
He arched a brow at her comment, leaning closer to her slightly, the towering man glanced at her, expression serious and apathetic, “I don’t have one,” he responded in her comment about a girlfriend, he leaned back slightly, his cool act still together, as he glanced at her, “But you could change that,” he said, adding a wink to it. He really was a flirt too, playing others like dolls.
“I’m sure your boyfriend at home wouldn’t like that very much though, would he?” He mused.

- - - - - Carlo ValentineCarlo smiled at her again. “Don’t be sorry for me being easily startled,” he assured, trying to comfort and calm her some. He now felt bad for making her worry about it. It really wasn’t her fault.
He nodded along, he happened to agree with that, “Right back at you, Astrape!” He cheerfully responded, so she was the youngest tribute. He felt bad for her, people would see her as weak because of that, but he didn’t.
“I would love being in the spotlight, but not for this.” He hummed back, “I like attention, but not when it means others have to suffer to get it. But I understand not liking attention either, all these eyes on you, all the pressure it brings.”
He nodded, “I love the outfit I wear, but it’s not me. My friends aren’t here, this isn’t some gala or party, it’s a death march, and I don’t really like dressing up for that.”
He really didn’t either, he loved being dressed up, but he couldn’t help but feel revolted too.

- - - - - Holly AlandriaHolly listened, nodding along. She would, most certainly, not endanger Burton if it meant she had to die to do so.
“Yeah, we’re allying,” She agreed, looking at her district partner, “He’s a-“ she thought of a good word for the strange duo, siblings wasn’t right, lovers was way too far, but friends was too simple, “Close friend to me,” she decided that was good enough, close friends was true, a best friend really.
“Kind of, I’m not speaking out yet so the Capital won’t kill me right off the bat,” she added, “He has a family I’d rather not hurt too by putting him in a sticky spot and making him say something he’ll regret.” a small pause, “But we need sponsors, and I feel my words will do more in the arena then outside of it.”
“You know, if you ever want to complain about the Capital, even in that arena, I’m with you.” She said, small smirk on her face, “Eventually people will tag along with the message and stop being so afraid, 90 years of these games? People will surely get sick of watching them.”
“Plus,” her voice came up again, “I’d love to die being my own person than live a lie, but I don’t want Burton to have to make that choice.” She admitted, shrugging.
“Yeah,” Holly sighed, “I know for sure Macaria has lost that morality because of the fame the Capital could give her, but I’m sure some of them are good people. Like Everest,” she commented, from what she knew of the District 2 Male, He was a rather kind soul.

Sapphire eyed Alessandro and Macaria for a moment before shaking her head and deciding to wander off. She wasn't in the mood to listen to them flirt. She wouldn't help but smirk knowing that she might have an edge in the games. Would be a darn shame if something were to happen to the district seven girl. She couldn't be all that tough.
Hunter found himself petting his horse and talking to him. The horses reminded him of his animals back home. "I hope these people are treating ya right." He said his accent pretty prominent. He smiled as the horse makes a small noise and turns to look at him.
Darius and Gus were chatting about their outfits.

As Riley walked out into the waiting area, where the tributes mingled, and their horses awaited, she headed straight for the District 10 chariot, where her district partner stood. Smiling at him as she walked up, she reached her hand out to let the other horse sniff it, before stroking his muzzle. "Beautiful, aren't they?" She said, in awe of the dappled grey steeds. They did have horses back in her district, but there was a stark difference in the elegance and beauty of these animals versus the work horses she had grown up around.

Everest felt strong in his parade attire. He had been dressed in black and gold. Nothing over the top, but the simple color scheme spoke for itself, and gave him the intimidating look he had hoped for. As he looked around him, he spotted the rest of the careers congrugated around one another near the front of the parade, while others, such as Amadrya, were speaking to tributes of the higher districts. In truth, he wanted to speak to the later, but he knew for his plan to work, he would need to make sure his alliances were firm within the careers. So he strode over, greeting them with a cool smile as he stopped next to Maracia and Alessandro, who were busy batting lashes at one another. "She doesn't have a boyfriend," he interjected, answering the District 1 boy's question. He and Maracia had grown up training with one another. And both had made the sacrifice of forgoing relationships to focus on their training. But, if Maracia wanted to ignore their training, and pursue a romance with one of the rival tributes now that they were at the games, that wasn't his business.

Hunter turned his head and notices Riley. "That they are." He remarked. "Ya know if we are lucky, there will be horses in the arena and we can tame them or something." He said in a joking manner. They would have quite the advantage if the Gamekeepers didn't add a twist to it.
