Macaria Slayte The innocent flower and the serpent under it Macaria leaned against the District 2 chariot, waiting for the parade to start. She wore a tight-fitting black and gold outfit, the top part of her outfit a black and gold corset. Black gloves reached up to her elbows. Her dark hair was piled on top of her head in a romantic updo, and her distinctive eyes were covered with black eyeshadow and carefully lined with gold eyeliner. She looked stunning, but also hinting at the dangerous side to her. Reminding everyone that she was a Career.
Her stylist, Alistair really knew her style and he truly played up the image she was trying to protect. Romantic but ruthless. Ideal for lulling some tributes into a false sense of security and scaring others, which was exactly her plan.
She was more than ready for these Games, and she wanted the Capitol to know it. To fall in love with her and also to know she was a good bet. Careers usually won these things, and so why couldn’t it be her? She was determined that she would win this thing. The other tributes shouldn’t even try.

Astrape Vetton This above all: to thine own self be true Astrape was milling nervously in the area around her chariot, terrified before the parade. Her heart was thumping in her chest, her breathing fast and shallow. This kind of thing got her anxious, just like she had been for her interview. She didn’t mind talking to individual people like Otto or Elliot.
She was wearing a gold full-length dress that seemed to glow around her, enveloping her in a golden light. It made her look rather grown up, older than fourteen. Her red hair was in an updo with lights in it so her red air was lit from within, reminiscent of a comforting fire. Her dark blue eyes were surrounded by sparking gold eyeshadow and lined with dark eyeliner. She looked like electricity itself, the power her district produced. And Astrape was glad, because it gave her a little more confidence. She felt more powerful and capable than she might otherwise.
Astrape doubted heavily she would get out of the Arena, and though she knew these things scared her, she knew she should enjoy the Capitol. The few days before her Games should be savoured, she supposed.

Amadrya Darrow The fire-eyed maid of smoky war
Amadrya, too, was leaning against her chariot, waiting for the parade to begin. She didn’t want to do this whole parade thing, because showing off to the Capitol like this was the last thing she wanted. The pageantry of it sickened her. But she knew stuff like this could get her sponsors and could end up saving her life in the Arena. She had to do this if she wanted to survive.
The bigger benefit was her outfit. She was wearing a gold and green armour-style outfit, clearly inspired by leaves and the forests of her district. Her hair was in two braids, and surrounding her eyes was dark makeup reminiscent of warpaint. She looked intimidating for sure. Like the warrior she was being presented as to the Capitol. Her whole thing was about capitalising on her having volunteered and on her being fierce. The idea was to emphasise her warrior side, presenting her as the shieldmaiden of District 7. Her stylist, Rova, clearly knew Amadrya well, as well as the persona they were creating for her.
She wanted sponsors, and she wanted to show the Capitol that she was ready for the Games. Even if she really, really wasn’t.

Burton Acton And either victory, or else a grave
Burton was lingering near his chariot, looking around at the other tributes waiting for the parade to start. There was a sense of anticipation in the air, he could sense it from every single tribute. Some seemed nervous, others excited, still others simply determined and wanting to get this whole thing over with. Burton counted himself among the latter group.
Livia had put him in clothes to match Holly, with a blue and gold theme. He had suspected that she would put himself and Holly in her signature blue colour, and he liked that. Something to tie he and Holly - and indeed the whole team surrounding the two tributes - together. It united them, and he wasn’t sure if Livia meant it as a silent protest against the Capitol, but Burton liked to think it was. It comforted him to think that Livia, though living in the Capitol, shared Burton and Holly’s sentiments.
He wasn’t ready for the Arena, of course, but nor did he like this. But he knew Holly hated it too and his focus was coaching her through the whole Capitol thing and helping her earn sponsors.

- - - - - Alessandro RuneAlessandro stood, arms crossed over his chest as he rested against his chariot. He glanced at Sapphire, his eyes narrowed. He then glanced at the other tributes, his grin darkened. All these little dolled up children would soon be dead, and he would be a victor, just like his mother.
He glanced around, noting the other Careers and their outfits. He admired Macaria’s for a moment, a well chosen outfit, romantic yet dangerous, just like she probably was. His own was a gemstone inspired red and black outfit. Befitting to the jewels District 1 made. He hummed, it was fitting, he was a rich boy, son of a rich family. Only the best could suffice, Almeda had chosen well.
He tapped his foot, eyes focused on the other tributes, deciding who would die first.

(Legit I feel like he’s a king who just like gave the slightest bit of approval and I am now blessed.
Also, I like how he and Macaria are slightly mysterious to one another still cos they haven’t interacted yet, but they kind of notice one another from afar XD I will have her note his outfit and just... him in general in my next post)

- - - - - Carlo ValentineCarlo found himself staring at the other tributes, finding himself fawning over some.
He really hated being attracted to both males and females at times. Like, really hated it. Why was everyone so pretty and handsome?
He found himself being fond of this like Macaria, not attracted per se, but friendly. She seemed sweet, and looked like an absolute queen at the moment. One that he found himself idling over quickly. While he loved his outfit, red and black in color to match his female counterpart, he found himself rather nervous. But also confident to a degree, he was stunning, if he did say so himself.
Like, he would marry himself if he made it out alive.
He turned to Ireena a moment, he loved the wing like additions to the outfit, they fit her well, she was a fiery girl, he presumed. Though he didn’t speak much to her, he only watched others.
He might have flirted with a few as well.
He found his confidence boosted, the naive boy wafted away from his chariot, to scope out the other tributes.

- - - - - Holly AlandriaHolly found herself smiling, just from her outfit. She didn’t feel just like she was dolled up to die, she felt like she mattered, that it mattered to be alive. A response she never gave, because she never attempted to look pretty a day of her life.
At least, not since her parents died or left.
Her outfit, a blue dress, was not over the top like she expected, and like some tributes were. It was an elegant, but pretty dress. With long sleeves, and golden accents on it. Her feet weren’t visible under the draping dress, and it was rather modest. It was Livia’s colors, and she adored it already. Her makeup was done to match, and her hair was done simply, but elegantly. The black hair pulled up slightly in the back, with golden charms.
It made her kind of enjoy the parade, even if she hated the parade. Because it made her feel like Livia truly cared, and because she rather liked the color. It was very calm. It matched Burton too.
She walked around, green eyes not used to the makeup she wore, but a smile on her face regardless. If she was dressed like this, she could put effort into earning sponsors. Livia, and Burton deserved that much. But she kept close to the chariot.

(Oh I got a personality for Alessandro now.
He’s like thatking that hypothetically left the incest family. He’s hard to please, an attention (even if he won’t show it) and a jerk, but is spoiled so you can flirt your way into his heart.
Lol.
Also do what you like :3. I’m honestly open to any and all interaction here.)

As for other interaction, I don’t know. Holly and Burton always talk to each other so it may be fun to have them talking to other people. Who would make interesting combinations for our charries?)
