(Honestly I had so many issues with finding a good life story for her. I liked what I came up with, and I could totally see her death happening at night or something. Like her sneaking away from Burton or something to try and mislead other tributes, or going out at night for a patrol and being killed during that. I also see her death kind of being slow, as it was written out there, but it’s subject the change. I did it like that to fit the whole ‘make your voice heard’ theme. It was fun, but I can only think of a few characters I could do something like that with. Probably Felix for sure from the old games? The others right now, I could. But my muse for them isn’t the highest. Though I do plan to include their backstory. Honestly I broke my own heart while writing some of that. I know it’s not that sad, but it was heartbreaking to write some of it. Probably overdramatic too XD.) You did such a good job, you really did! I love her whole backstory. I may do childhood stuff for Burton too at some point but it would just be him hanging out with his sisters. Awww I could see her dying like that but it’s so sad. Burton will be devastated. I think he’ll take the necklace and look after it for her. He’ll probably keep it and take care of it. It was so sad to read hut definitely not overdramatic you did great) |

Elijah grumbled beneath the sheets of his bed. He rolled over, drifting in between the lines of reality and his dreams. Just one minute, he thought, his eyes flickering open. Something was wrong.
The bed beneath him was too soft, the ceiling above him was too light, and the walls surrounding him were not his own. He shuddered, closing his eyes to shut out the awful thoughts which crowded his mind. The young boy controlled his breathing, stealing a few precious moments of peace before he forced himself to face the day. He got up, stumbling over the clothes that he had hastily stripped off last night. Hazily, Eli made his way over to his bathroom, hoping to wake himself up under a cold shower. A good confusing 30 minutes later, Eli was dressed and guiding himself into the commons area of his floor. He didn't see his district partner, but upon noticing that the time was 11:24 this didn't surprise him.
Hastily, Eli ate the now cold breakfast that had been laid out for him hours earlier. Almost choking on his mouthfuls, Eli had to remind himself to slow down. Can't die before the -
Eli stopped himself, setting down his glass and studying the simplistic design of it. Don't think such things, he told himself, remembering that he had family to go back to.

Now on the floor of a fully packed Training Center, Eli stalked around the equipment. He picked up a few weapons, testing their grips and weight. None of them felt right. Sighing, Eli paced over to the camouflage station. As if such techniques would help him out in the arena.

And then I was like, “Wait. This is strangely befitting to Holly...”
We got that as the result.

Burton Acton
And either victory, or else a grave
It was over soon afterwards. A shot to the chest, not even any pain, and then just blackness for a little while. So painless after all of the pain he had gone through these last few years.
But he had done it. Done it for her. Or at least he’d tried.
Suddenly, though, he found himself standing in the courtyard again, looking at the scene. He could see his own body, as President Louden, with a disgusted look on his face, ordered Burton’s body be taken and disposed of.
Ironic that bodies seemed to make him so uncomfortable.
In this spirit form, he didn’t look so sick anymore. He looked...like his younger self. Before the Capitol. Before the pain and the loss and the suffering.
But that was when he saw her, the girl he’d done all this for. Holly. He’d recognise that dark hair, those green eyes, anywhere. It looked like she had been watching the scene, because she looked pained for him. Upset. But there was also relief that his suffering was over.
“Hey, Alandria,” Burton said softly
They rushed towards one another, and collided in a hug. He couldn’t believe she was here, that he was seeing her again.
“I missed you so much,” Burton whispered, before chuckling as he realised Holly had said the same words at the same time. Had she been waiting all this time?
He spoke again as they pulled away from the hug.
“I’m sorry,” he said “I couldn’t do it. It’s just too broken, Holly. I tried. You died for this, I couldn’t make it worth it.”
“It’s okay,” she was saying, and he hadn’t heard her voice in such a long time, “I’m proud of you. It was worth it.”
He smiled, but he was aware of a tear rolling down his cheek. Was Holly’s death really worth it? He hadn’t been able to save her in the Games, and she had died just for this ending.
“I didn’t do enough,”
“Burton, you couldn’t have done more,” Holly assured him “and it’s over now, you’re with me.”
A moment of silence passed between the two of them.
“Also, your damn cat scratches,” Burton commented
Holly chuckled at that, which made Burton feel the same pride he always had at being able to make her laugh.
“She always did have a cat-itude,” Holly joked
“You’re dumb,” Burton laughed
“No, you’re dumb,” Holly shot back. But she grabbed Burton’s arm, and they started to walk.
Their walking didn’t seem to have any direction, but the scene around them began to fade to white.
“C’mon,” Holly said “we have to go.” |

I have multiple favorites. Burton is like, my top one personally. I like Macaria, love Everest and I have a few more that I can’t wait to see more of.
Out of my characters, she’s obviously my favorite. Out of all the characters? I absolutely adore Burton, Macaria, Everest, (Like all the careers except my own?). Then again, I’ve been paying the most attention to them.
I do like Amadrya too, her selfless nature is very...relaxing to me.
Really, the characters here serve as an inspiration to me.
Holly, Robin, and Alessandro were pre-existing characters, but made to fit the mold of the games, and also the inspiration I got from you guys.
Alessandro was a nice boy for his original use, a gentleman of every sort. He was heavily inspired by Kora for his remade form.
Robin was similar to how she is now. She was reallly inspired by Astrape, Elias and Pascal though, with some parts of her personality.
Holly is kind of similar. Her original character was one who was a youngest child, with a very loving family. I took parts of storylines from other characters, to kind of form hers. I’ve used Jensyn, Burton, and like most of Leo’s characters from the first games to shape her personality. Especially with the sarcasm.)

He seemed like a good ally. He could use weapons where Astrape was only just learning, and he was older and stronger. Really, between them they made up an ideal team.
She smiled when he said she was getting good.
“Oh, thanks,” she replied, “hopefully I’ll be even better by the time the Games start.”
She paused for a moment as she looked around the room once again, thinking about how the other tributes would handle the Games, trying to predict their strategies.
“So, did you have a strategy for these Games, Elliot?” |

But same honestly like I love Holly and I also like the Careers. I love everyone’s characters really tbh and it’s gonna hurt when they die.

Astrape continued to practice as they talked, not wanting to draw any unwanted attention to the pair when they were discussing strategies.
“That strategy is worth getting a few less sponsors,” Astrape reasoned “I’m down for that. So I’m guessing with the bloodbath we don’t stay to get involved. Are you thinking we run or just grab things from the edges and then run?”
She shot at the target again, but she wasn’t really paying much attention to her training with the slingshot. She was thinking through their plan for the Games at that point. Elliot’s strategy was a good one, perfect for the both of them.
(Astrape will probably die in the bloodbath or else the first day. That’s my plan anyway. I think Astrape is Alessandro’s kill but I’m not 100% certain) |

(Yeah I think that’s what we were talking about but honestly I don’t mind who kills her. I think Macaria is killing Carlo, isn’t she? That means we’re losing the two youngest tributes in the bloodbath I think. Anyway, if anyone wants any of my charries to kill yours or wants your characters to be the ones to kill Amadrya or Macaria then let me know we also need to decide who Burton faces off against in the final two. Chaos - I have a Latin lesson in half an hour but it only lasts an hour and when I get back I can write up a Burton thing probably) |

Yeah, I think that was the plan too.
I’m personally planning to stay out of the final two, mostly because I did have Mallory and she won her games. But also because I don’t have a good candidate? I plan for Alessandro to die midway-ish.)

(God I don’t want it to be someone Burton likes that’d be so sad. Or someone nice that he doesn’t wanna kill.
Also, someone gets to give him that scar on his cheek. It can either be the person he faces off with in the final two, or it can be a close-call encounter with another tribute. So that’s free for anyone too. If you pick a fight with Burton you can give him the scar. As a rule, people can be as mean to my characters as they want you know how we like torturing our charries.
That is very true. I think I just know the general times I wanna kill my characters but the only death I’m really planning out at this point is Astrape because she is gonna die pretty early. I think for the others if people wanna claim to kill my girls feel free but for now I’ll just see what happens)

(For the scar on the cheek, also, if that’s a close call encounter the most likely candidates are probably any of the Career girls cos I know Sapphire and Macaria are knife users and I’m sure Halina would be good with knives too and I don’t know that just feels more like a Career girl thing I don’t know why)
