But did any of the Erins ever confirm who the owner of the voice was that spoke with Mapleshade when she first showed up in the Dark Forest?

Even though I still heavily lean on the idea of the cat being Ashfur, the one behind the possessing. I couldn't help but think about how the Erins never confirmed who the owner of this voice is. If Ashfur isn't the villain, I wonder if they're a new character altogether? If they are, I'll be disappointed, but if it is the case, after all, I kinda hope they have some sort of connection to this voice.

Didn't they say it was One Eye after someone asked?

Even though I still heavily lean on the idea of the cat being Ashfur, the one behind the possessing. I couldn't help but think about how the Erins never confirmed who the owner of this voice is. If Ashfur isn't the villain, I wonder if they're a new character altogether? If they are, I'll be disappointed, but if it is the case, after all, I kinda hope they have some sort of connection to this voice. I would really prefer it to be a new character. I think it would be much more interesting to have a cat who genuinely takes support of the warrior code too far rather than being just a hypocrite who is using this for a personal vendetta - we've already had so many villains who seem like they might have an interesting motive but it turns out to be just revenge (Mapleshade, Sol, Darktail) and Crookedstar's Promise already did the "spirit convinces a cat to be ultra zealous about the code just to make the cats they don''t like suffer without really caring about the code". Plus just making it a hypocrite would ruin the possibility of seriously questioning the code in the series. As for the villains in particular; Sol was interesting, sure, but he's already been ruined a million times already and there's no way they can make him a compelling villain again after all they revealed about him and what he did. Mapleshade is similar - she's been very overused. Ashfur was effective because he was a more personal villain, a jealous ex-boyfriend instead of another tyrannical dictator. Making him some possessing ghost with ambitions that affect all the Clans would ruin that. Already faded cats coming back like Tigerstar I would be maybe even worse - we've had more than enough of Tigerstar. Everyone else is not enough of a villain, and it would feel contrived and ruining their characters if they were made a villain. It might have worked if the voice's actions were more morally ambiguous, but this cat really just seems straight-up evil and wanted to kill anyone who breaks the code. So I would really prefer it to be someone new. I think it's odd how people are always complaining about the New Prophecy (and to a lesser extent TPOT/OOTS) for just reusing Tigerstar I as a villain instead of introducing a new one, and were excited for completely new villains like Sol (at first) and Darktail, and yet in this arc everyone wants it to be an old villain returning.
