I'm bored and it's been a while since I've rped so I decided to do a simple jump-in!
The Cats :
Cinderstar - Fluffy, pale gray she-cat with white stripe on her nose and dark blue eyes. 65 Moons Old. Clan leader. 4 Lives left.
Fawnfur // Pale brown she-cat with long legs, a bushy tail, white front paws and amber eyes. 28 moons old, Medicine Cat.
Cobrafoot - Sleek, pitch black tom with yellow eyes and one gray paw. Warrior. 30 Moons
Webtangle - A muscular black and white tom with bright green eyes. Warrior. 22 Moons.
Minnowleap - Long legged silver tabby she-cat with dark green eyes. Warrior. 25 Moons
Brackenpaw // Pale gray tom with a white chest, belly, paws, a long tail and amber eyes. 8 moons old, Apprentice.
Poppypaw - Bright orange tabby she-cat with a white belly and paws, has bright amber eyes. 7 Moons. Apprentice
Bluejay - Blue-ish gray she-cat with multiple scars from past fights and pale yellow eyes. Loner. 32 Moons
----
Cinderstar wrapped her tail tightly over her paws, shivering as an icy breeze swept through their camp. It was the middle of leaf-bare and a particularly difficult one at that. MapleClan's territory had seen a heavy amount of snow, making prey scarce and chances for illness high. The old gray she-cat watched her clan from the opening of her den, feeling worried about what was to come.
Poppypaw sneezed as a snowflake landed on her nose. She gave a small shake and glanced around the snow-covered camp. Sitting around freezing wouldn't do any good so the young apprentice bounced up to her paws and decided to slip out of camp for a hunt.
Webtangle sighed as he laid in the warriors den after having an early morning patrol. He couldn't sleep but also didn't want to get up from the comfort of his nest so the tom laid there in silence, watching the opening of the den as his clanmates past by. "It's too cold to do more than just lay here anyways.." he mumbled to no one in particular.
With prey growing scarce throughout the forest, it made hunting much more difficult. Bluejay felt her stomach rumble with hunger. The lone she-cat had gone a couple days now without any successful findings of prey. The closest she had gotten was a bird but in her eagerness to catch it, had scared it off. Growing more desperate, the scent trail of a mouse was leading her into a territory she usually kept out of. Clan territory. She usually respected their borders, namely because she wasn't foolish enough to start a fight she wouldn't be able to win, but now she couldn't. The scent of the mouse made her mouth water and she trailed after it into MapleClan territory. If she was quick enough, they'd never even know she was there.
