I'm interested in starting a Castle Cats rp, cause the game has so much potential that's never really tapped into outside of events. For those who don't know, the game consists of a Guild made up of cats with different talents and abilities and they keep the land safe from the evil Pugomancer and her minions x3 It's like D&D with cats as the playable characters. In this rp you can either be a "canon" (the cats are based off fictional characters, Tom Snow is Jon Snow, Catniss is Katniss Everdeen, etc) or make up an OC cat. And to keep it fair, every person will need to have at least one cat with no powers, cause there are plenty of awesome ones in the game with no powers. Every cat does have a Trait though, a small perk that can help them in some adventures, but not all. I will provide a small list, but you can make your own if you get the okay on it from me. And, these cats are semi-anthropomorphic, meaning they still do most of their walking, climbing, etc as a quadroped but can also use weapons, wear clothes, make potions etc. Something else I'll include is some easy dice-rolling to keep things fair for everyone. Feel free to ask questions about the rp, I'm really interested in doing this x3

I would definitely be interested! I love Castle Cats and would be willing to roleplay it as well. So, can we be any Castle Cat character? Because I'm going for Scarlet or Angel.

Cool, and yes. I'm going to claim Conan, Chroma and Gruna Barkle x3

And you're fine with the dice-rolling? I can explain it more if needed.

I sort of know what dice-rolling is, but I can't really remember and I haven't used it.

It isn't too hard. This is what I'll want to do, for certain things I will roll a 20-sided dice. Example, after cats get into a battle, to find out if an enemy has an item we want I'll roll. Even numbers mean yes, odd ones no so there's a 50% chance the enemy either has items or not. Then I'll roll again to see if we get to win the battle or not. Even numbers yes, odd numbers no. I won't do rolling to get individual hits or whatever cause that would be a hassle on this site x3 I'll do rolls for cat battles too and all that even if it's just friendly sparring so things will be fair and people won't squabble over who wins. I have more freetime now so I can keep up just in case things go fast but I doubt it. Basically I roll to find out yes or no for major things like battles, certain quest parts, etc. That way things stay interesting and we don't plow through plots as fast, if any of this makes sense.

And what makes it interesting is that when I roll, we decide how we get to the point of winning, losing, finding items, etc.

Or maybe to determine winning/losing it can be less than ten is a loss, more than ten is a win cause even/odd in that case means we could possibly lose a lot of battles xD

Anyway, that's not a big deal and is actually easy once we start. As for a plot, have you caught up yet? Or are you still not finished with the main quest?

I'm pretty caught up now, this makes sense!

Cool, so now I have another question. About plot, are you caught up with the main quest or? Either way I kinda want to do a different plot, but please suggest any ideas if you have any. Castle Cats has left so much lore on the table and we can do a lot with that.

Yeah. I've played the game and I know most of the quests, so I'm good for now.

Hmm, for now I'm thinking that just interactions would be good until another person or two join, then we would start with a main plot. I'm thinking that Chloe (Pugomancer) is trying to find a way to destroy the Guild like always, but this time is serious and some cats can go on a big quest to figure out what's going on, cause maybe cats are disappearing or being killed, and stop Chloe?
Like I said though, for now we can just do interactions and little quests until another person or two joins in x3

It isn't open to the public yet, but the joining page is up. You can put sheets there rn if you'd like. You don't need to fill out the cs I made if it is a canon cat though, just type a little bit about them and maybe get a little picture if possible. wcrpforums.com/thread/68632/fight-catania-joining-page-wip
