Hi! My name’s Animalliterature, and I just recently joined the Warriors forums—mostly because I was bored and wanted to waste my time on a new website, but that’s for another discussion. Maybe. Anyway, I’ve been reading Warriors for about two years now and, like the disappointment I am, still haven’t caught up, even though all my friends have and they started a year after me, also inspired by me. Technically I did inspire plenty of people to read Warriors and introduced them to the series, some directly and others indirectly. In total, indirectly and directly, I’ve spurred on a small sum of seven people to read Warriors, and I’ve seen others fall in and out of the fandom frequently. I, however, am quite loyal to whatever fandom I join—for an embarrassing fact, I was an MLP fanatic from the ages of three to eight, and still enjoy particular things about it. But, again, that topic isn’t for today. I love Warriors with all my heart and, though I’ve heard that this site is dying, I joined because I thought it’d be refreshing to meet other fans who are as much of a fanatic as I am—and probably more!
Small details: I’m currently on Shattered Sky and have read a few mangas, specifically the Ravenpaw mangas, Tigerstar & Sasha mangas, and SkyClan mangas, as well as (I think) two super editions, Moth Flight’s Vision and Tall(tail?)’s Something. My favorite Clan is WindClan, favorite group is either The Kin or The Tribe of Rushing Waters, favorite character is Moth Flight, favorite book is The First Battle, and favorite arc is Dawn of the Clans. My least favorites of said list is ThunderClan, Weird Group that Tried to Invade the Mountains, Sol, Tallstar’s Vengeance, and The New Prophecy. I like to toy with theories and AUs of the characters and books, and am a passionate roleplayer! Which, at first, sounds cringey, but I’m not that awkward, I’m just semi-horrible.

Welcome to the forums! Can I ask why Moth Flight is your favourite character? I haven’t read her story so don’t really know what she’s like :3

Thanks! As to why Moth Flight is my favorite character, she’s kind of relatable for me in the sense that she very clearly has anxiety episodes. I wouldn’t want to spoil the book for you, but if you’re not going to read or something like that, I’ll continue—just be warned that the rest is spoilers for Moth Flight’s Vision.
She obviously had anxiety, and that normally makes her relateable for most people, the same with Alderheart. Nearly everyone has at least imagined running away from home, and that is what actually happens with Moth Flight, I believe. I may be wrong with the details, but I do remember that she believed everyone despised her and ran away because of this. She later met Micah and they form a bond. Her actions around Micah can be relateable as well. She was also born in the timeline that the Clans were still being created, and therefore made several mistakes that she didn’t know would happen, such as accidentally overdosing (Rock? I can’t remember his name) with catmint and causing an addiction and having kits with Micah, which StarClan was shown to disapprove of. She tried to multitask and focus on both healing and her kits, but ultimately fails, relating to some mothers, if you replace healing with her job and her kits with her family. She must give them up when StarClan suggests it, and one of her five/four kits are placed in different Clans. Then, when Micah dies, she drags her paws through the stages of grief, another relateable point. When her mother almost dies, she keeps her hopes with StarClan and begins dragging her to the Moonstone to consult or be healed by StarClan, which leads to Wind Runner earning her nine lives and becoming Windstar, the first leader to be given nine lives and to be accepted in the eyes of StarClan. Also, no matter where she is, Moth Flight still cares for her kits, even if they’re in different Clans, and in a bonus scene you can see her helping one of her kits with kitting.
~ End of spoilers ~
All in all, I admire her for her bravery despite obvious panic and relatability.

Aw, that’s really sweet. My fave character, Brackenfur, I love because even if he’s lost so much, he still remains strong and stable.
