I loved how hectic it was. All the new names, places, and danger was great. Also it was written very well, the characters seem like they have real personality. I also liked seeing how the βgroupsβ slowly evolve more into the Clans and seeing how different cats grew to become leaders of their own groups that would form the Clans we know.
I am all for a continuation of DOTC, the Erinβs should finish the current arc and wherever they are going with this story, then go back to DOTC. And after that, move the main story along again.

Gosh, I would.... love if they did that! I want to see how the Clans evolved all the way up to Into The Wild. Novellas are not enough, even thought they are wonderful, I want whole arcs, it'd be great!

I love DotC. To be honest, when I first read it I lost interest halfway through the series but when I picked it back up I fell in love. I liked seeing how the clans were created and I loved all of the characters. I really want to see a continuation of the series, I especially want to see what made the clans change and become enemies.
Overall, I say it's my second favorite series. It's really different and interesting from the main storyline.

I really liked it, except Thunder and Clear Sky. Like assaholic bitch father like assaholic bitch son.

I like to think of Clear Sky as an alcoholic dead beat dad, it just makes sense to me but I like both characters.

I love p much all of it, the storyline and the characters are super good (except Clear Sky is annoying a lot). Some of the relationships were rushed but most were cute (with the exception of SkyxStorm, which was rushed and not even good). There are boring parts, especially in TST, TFB, and PoS, but overall it's great

I've been really into DotC lately, but I'll try and keep this short and simple.
I hated Clear Sky more than I ever did Tigerstar, Brokenstar, even Scourge. He's been the best villain since Tigerstar I, until they made him OOC for the last 3 books. That was when the series fell apart, when Clear Sky turned 360 degrees, OOC. Books #4 and #6 had poor execution, with One-Eye and Slash both being cardboard villains, and having no coordination/foreshadow to back up their roles, except for their associations with Star Flower.
With that being said, for me, DotC was better than AVoS. It was even better than OotS, and the First Battle was written a lot better than the one in TLH. The portrayal of battles resembled TPB; speaking of TPB, Gray Wing is, most likely, the best-written narrator since Fireheart, in his pre-leader days. Unlike AVoS, although there were many background characters, it was easier to keep track of them, since they all had their own personalities and unique names (the style, fitting in more with the Ancients than the Tribe of Rushing Water).
