So in a bunch of other animal society novels, magic ends up getting involved. Guardians of Ga'hoole has the whole business with the hagsfiends and the Ember's power, Shark Wars has shar-kata laser duels that mimic an anime, and Seekers has Ujurak the shapeshifting angel.
Warriors, thus far, has remained fairly grounded in terms of powers aside from the Three(the Dark Forest invasion I wouldn't say counts as magic since they have no real powers that they didn't have while alive) and the nine lives. If as the series progresses, more magic shows up, at what point would you say it's gone too far?

maybe some sort of magic that you could see with the naked eye, such as a cat being able to generate lightning or water from their paws i can see it now; the 15th arc of warriors, four kits are chosen by starclan to master the four elements...and drive out sol for good. Firestar's kin breathe fire in this, naturally.

The Three’s powers I’m so glad they’re gone now. Not only did they not fit in with the rest of the world building, but they ended up being totally useless as well

I'd bet on a shape-shifter. Nothing else is quite as likely.

I think they stretched it a bit too far with the Three. Lionblaze never being able to lose a battle probably made him underutilized in The Last Hope as it would've been anticlimactic. Jayfeather is fine as it seems more super shaman ability, but doesn't seem as OP for make things too easily. Dovewing's was weird with the hearing, which is probably why it wasn't utilized the best either. These 2 abilities were also hard to imagine or just seem it's just "there", unlike say Scourge's claws.
So for me, anything overpowered and unnecessary is too much.
