The Story --PineClan was a peaceful clan. They lived beside a lazy-rolling river in a pine forest. The cats fished in the river or amongst the nearby pine trees. The river was viewed as a part of life and had never harmed them. A flash-flood has just hit the area and the Pineclan camp. Cats have been swept away and most of the dens have been destroyed now. Our roleplay begins after the flooding as the survivors start to return to the Pineclan camp.~~ Any Important Plot-Lines to Note ~~
Cats who died in the flooding: Blackmoss, Fishfur, Jayleap, Ravenwing

TO JOIN: [Rank] Cats Name - Moons Old - Description - {Players Username}
The Cats of PineclanLeader: Froststar - 38 moons - a dark gray she-cat with a pale gray tail and green eyes. @NOCOHufflepuff
Deputy: Nettlefire- 40 moons - A sleek, short-haired calico tom with yellow eyes and long claws. - SmugGull
Medicine Cat: Spidereye - 57 Moons - Handsome long legged solid black tom with a thin framed body. His pelt is medium length that tends to just stick out in every direction no matter how hard the tom tries to make it lie down. He has deep yellow eyes almost amber in color and on his left eye he has a double pupil defect. Some say he has an acute sense of sight when in actuality he has just normal eyesight. It is also said that because of this defect he is able to see Starclan in broad daylight. Spidereye is a seasoned tom who had first been a warrior, until he had a vision from Starclan calling him to be a medicine cat. At times he can be found sparring with other warriors to help keep his battle skills sharp. He is a wise tom who tends to be snappy towards those who are careless and needy. He loves caring for his clan and finds his role as a medicine cat very powerful... sometimes even more powerful than a clan leader knowing the influence he can have on the clan. Due to the fact that this tom was warrior for a number of moons, he finds it difficult to suppress his personal desires and though he's careful about it, he has been found flirting with the she-cats from time to time. Falconwing Medicine Cat Apprentice: Mothpaw - 12 moons - Mothpaw is a tall, dusty tabby tom with a thick, fluffy pelt that makes him seem a lot larger than he actually is. He has round yellow and a golden-ish sheen to his fur. He's a very laid-back, happy-go-lucky cat who takes life one pawstep at a time and tries to enjoy the ride. He is often scolded for not taking important matters seriously enough, because he prefers to observe everything with a 'glass-half-full' attitude. Mothpaw is an extremely friendly and outgoing cat and is quite the chatterbox when around his friends, of which he has many due to his easy-going and likable personality. However, he struggles with understanding the depth of certain situations and can sometimes be quite insensitive to the suffering of others; he never really knows what to say when others are going through bad times, and often says the wrong thing. owlspots
Warriors: Graywhisker - 45 moons - a light gray tom with amber eyes. The Mindless Opal
Pebblecloud - 21 moons - a silver she-cat with gray tabby stripes and blue eyes. The Mindless Opal
Sheepfur - 37 moons - A rather odd-looking tom with off-white fur in a strange curly texture and green eyes. owlspots
Blackmoss - 39 moons - A large, burly black tom with moss green eyes. owlspots
Firesnap 36 Moons - Taller than average, and very well muscled this large tabby tom tends to stand out. His tabby pelt consists of a deep golden hue that has a hint of orange as a base, with a dark russet thick striped marbled pattern. Wildfire has large paws, strong facial features. His nose is a dark pink with a hint of brown on the top rim, and tall sharply pointed ears with tufts of dark russet tips. The eyes of this tom are a wide almond shape and the iris is a dark yellow almost amber. Firesnap is an all out flirt who has a fun outgoing personality. Always coming up with ways to make a boring task, fun and exciting. He is brave and adventurous, whom oddly has a fear of swimming. This seasoned tom is a very skilled fighter whom loves to spar with friends on his spare time, always wanting to be ready for the next battle. What he lacks in his hunting skills definitely is made up in his fighting skill. He generally has an open mind to things and is easy to talk to, but he isn't one to let anyone get too close. When is comes to very personal things this tom is impenetrable. He is very loyal to the clan as a whole, but tends to be picky about who he actually likes within the clan. Falconwing Lynxgaze - 22 Moons - Made of medium build with long legs and medium length fur this she-cat always manages to blend right in. Her pelt is full of beautiful brown colors including a rich brownish golden undercoat highlighted with streaks of tan. Around her shoulders, chest, inner thigh, and whisker area is a rich reddish brown color. White only appears around the front of her muzzle and a fuzzy tuft in the middle of her chest. Her thick waa pelt is streaked with thick black tabby markings, her dark cream belly being the only stripeless area found on her body. Her beauty is only enhanced when you gaze into her striking dark green eyes followed by her dark pink nose, both are which lined with black skin. Lynxgaze is generally an easy going she-cat who loves her clan. At times she can be reckless, but it's mostly due to her young age and impulsive decisions. She loves to climb and explore new places, and is always willing to push herself to new limits. Falconwing
Applefoot - 23 moons - Applefoot is a short she-cat with an average build and semi-thick fur that sticks out in tufts on her neck and the sides of her face. She is mostly cream-coloured , with dark ginger, close to russet tabby patches dotting her head, spine and tail. She has ginger paws and a white blaze on her nose. Her eyes are bright green and roundly shaped, giving her a slightly younger appearance. She is an energetic, spunky cat with lots of attitude and lots of enthusiasm. She isn't necessarily a rule-breaker or a rebel, but she is rather hard to rein in. She can often be argumentative and is very stubborn regardless of whether she's in the right or not - she has trouble recognizing when she is wrong. She is a pleasant enough cat to talk to, but loses her patience quite quickly and has a bit of a short fuse where her temper is concerned.owlspots Stonewhisker - 40 moons - Broad shouldered solid gray tom with amber eyes and a white muzzle and underbelly. ~Skyblaze~ Cloudfrost - 25 moons - Pure white tom with startlingly intense green eyes. - ~Skyblaze~ Thornflight - 23 moons - Bracken colored tom with black paws and blue eyes. - ~Skyblaze~ Robinheart - 19 moons - Pretty tortoiseshell and ginger she-cat with amber eyes. - ~Skyblaze~ Apprentices: Icepaw - 7 moons - a black she-cat with ice-blue eyes. Elders: Pigeonfur - 83 moons - a light gray she-cat with green eyes. The Mindless Opal
Ashenwing - 73 moons - An elderly tortoiseshell she-cat with a white face, three white paws, and orange eyes. - SmugGull Heronwing - 93 moons - Heronwing is a large, broad-shouldered solid blue-grey tom with amber eyes and torn ears. In his old age, his impressive strength has diminished, and although he is still a relatively powerful cat he is nowhere near as strong and sturdy on his legs as he used to be. His pelt is marred with countless scars from as many battles, and his fur has begun to thin out from its once thick and sleek state. He often contracts the common cough and can usually be heard wheezing from a mile off, but his stubborn nature will not let him agree to medicine in order to cure it. He is a patient and fatherly cat with an incredible soft spot for kits, and his old age has mellowed him into quite the effective diplomat. He's a logical thinker and tends to read between the lines in order to find solutions for problems rather than assessing the obvious. He is still a surprisingly strong swimmer and would often frequent the shallower parts of the river on the orders of the medicine cat to help with his stiff joints. owlspots Cats Outside the ClanNightclaw - 38 moons - A large black tom with a scarred muzzle, a small white patch of fur on his forehead, and ice blue eyes. [Warrior] Skyrunner - 47 moons - Skyrunner is a stocky light brown tabby she-cat with eyes the color of the sun and widespread paws. Her fur is short and her ears are unusually thin, and her right ear has a nick in it. A scar runs from her left shoulder down to her front left leg, and her nose is a striking pink. Her tail is long and useful. Skyrunner is a very noble soul but has a rebellious streak every here and there under her efficient and courteous mask. She can be aloof at times but is overall a good-humored and level-headed cat. - { UnsightlyHeretic831}

Froststar picked her way through a pile of branches that created a barrier between the she-cat and where Pineclan's camp had once sat. She had trampled some and shifted others, just enough to create a gap for her to squeeze through. As she pushed through the branches, she sped up, her gray legs carrying her quickly. She stopped as she ran into the camp. Most of the dens had been destroyed or completely swept away. She sniffed at the ground but the water had washed away any scents of her clanmates. She walked towards her den, the rocks had withstood the storm. She leapt on top of the rocks, crouching down as she looked over Pineclan camp.
Icepaw had woken up alone in a log beside the river. She didn't remember falling asleep or getting inside the log. She stood up, stretching out her legs as she looked around. There was another cat on the other end of the log and she padded towards it, sniffing the air. "Fishfur!" She said quickly, nuzzling the sleek pelt of her mother. The black she-cat laid still and the apprentice nudged her again, realizing how cold her mother felt. "Fishfur?" She said softly before letting out a yowl as she realized her mother had passed away. The little apprentice gripped her mother's scruff in her jaws and pulled her out of the log. She looked around, heart sinking as she realized she didn't know where she was.

Sheepfur crouched on his perch above the wreckage, claws tightly gripping the damp bark of the tree branch he had found a hold on. He had been pretty much stuck there since the flood, having only managed to climb to the safety of the tree in the nick of time. He stared down at the camp, watching and waiting, hoping and praying that the others who had made it out would return soon. Pawsteps startled him, and he perked his ears immediately, craning his neck to see who had come back. His heart yowled with joy as he saw Froststar worming her way through the debris. The curly-furred tom stood up straight on the branch. "Froststar!" he yowled, "Are you alright?"
Willowpatch had been separated from Blackmoss when the water had first come bursting through the camp walls. He had pushed his way into the nursery to get her out, but she had lost him in the tide of cats racing to abandon the camp. She could only hope that he had made it to safety as she had done. After following her Clanmates blindly into the forest, she'd found herself by the river, and she had no recollection of what had happened since. She gazed around with wide, terrified blue eyes, every hair on her pelt stood on end. She could smell cats nearby, but she did not know whether they were alive or dead. She forced herself to move in the direction of the smell, legs trembling with every step. After a few moments a strangely placed log came into view, and with it, the figures of two cats: one on the ground, and the other stood above the body of their companion. "Hello!" she cried out, voice high-pitched with desperation. She began to run, hurrying towards the cats, ears flat to her head.
Beepaw poked her head out from the hole in the tree, peering around cautiously. A lot of debris had piled itself up against the trunk, but Beepaw noticed that the build-up might make it a lot easier to descend from the hiding spot she had chosen. She'd been with her mentor, Jaywing, but when the grey tabby tom had shoved her up the trunk of the tree into the old owl's nest, she had looked back down and she could not see him anywhere. On shaky legs she began to make her way down the trunk, using the broken branches and rocks as a pathway down. When she reached the forest floor, she spun around on the spot. She did not know which way camp was - or whatever was left of it. Jaywing had been the only other cat she'd seen since the camp walls broke down; he'd shoved her through the wall itself and led her off into the forest after seeing that the others were all getting out. She crouched where she stood and whimpered.
Pain flashed through his hind leg and Barleypaw awoke with a start. His chest heaved and his skin felt feverishly warm beneath his tabby-and-white pelt. The young tom's head snapped around in every direction, but he did not recognise his surroundings. The last thing he remembered was running after his sister and her mentor, trying to follow them out of the camp, but then the water had come rushing towards him and he had not been fast enough to escape. He was soaked to the skin and trembling, reduced to a skinny, shivering kit. He tried to get to his paws but gasped as his right hind leg jolted with agony. He glanced over his shoulder and paled at the sight of his fur clotted with blood, and the deep gash on his leg oozing with slow-pumping red liquid. I have to get to camp, I have to find someone, he thought desperately, panic seizing his chest. He began to walk, limping heavily, hurting with every step, but he did not stop. I don't want to die out here.

Froststar looked around the camp, hearing the voice of a clanmate she stood up and looked around. Her pale gray tail lifted straight into the air as she caught sight of the curly-furred warrior on his tree. "Sheepfur!" She yowled in response. She sped up, racing across the camp to the base of the tree. She looked up at him, a purr forming in her throat."I'm fine! Don't worry about me, how are you?" She asked softly, she got onto her hind legs, resting her front on the tree trunk. "Can you get down? Are you hurt?
Icepaw looked up as she heard the quick moving pawsteps. She whimpered as she saw the queen running up. "W-Willowpatch," she cried softly, taking a step towards the she-cat before stopping as she looked down at Fishfur's still body. "I-It's my mother, Fishfur..." The apprentice ran to the queen, pressing her face into her fur to find comfort. She stood trembling beside the queen. "I... I don't know where the camp is or how to get home or if Graywhisker is still alive," the apprentice whined softly.

Sheepfur nodded slowly. "I think I'm okay, I don't think I've got any injuries," he paused, checking himself quickly, "but everything happened so fast, Froststar," he mewed fretfully. The curly-furred warrior slowly descended the trunk, wincing as his pawpads scraped the bark on the way down. He gave his leader a quick sniff, checking for the scent of blood or anything else that might be alarming, but he was relieved to find nothing of the sort. "Have you found anybody else? How many of us made it out? I couldn't see the exit because there were so many cats so I climbed up that tree to get away from the water. I saw a couple of cats rip open the walls and escape, though," he informed the she-cat, his tail-tip twitching anxiously. He glanced around at the ruins of their camp. "It's going to take moons to get the camp looking even remotely like it was before."
Willowpatch gasped, immediately tucking the apprentice under her chin and rubbing her cheek along the top of Icepaw's head. "Shh, little one, it's alright," she murmured, curling herself around the little she-cat, "it's all going to be alright. We'll find Greywhisker, and we'll take Fishfur home. I think I know the way from here." The slender queen peered over Icepaw's head at the body of Fishfur, and her heart clenched with sorrow; Fishfur had been incredibly kind and loving, and she had helped Willowpatch through the earliest stages of her pregnancy with reassurance and regular company in the nursery. Rest well in StarClan, dearest Fishfur, she thought. Willowpatch leaned down to give the shivering apprentice a gentle lick between the ears. "Come along, dear," she murmured, "we'll carry her home." She approached Fishfur hesitantly, pressing her muzzle briefly to her cold black fur. "We can search for the others, too - I saw your denmates escape with Jaywing, and I'm certain everybody made it out of camp." She began to lift Fishfur's body from one side, motioning for Icepaw to help her.

(I was gonna mention. Rainpaw and Pebblecloud are from the same litter but Rainpaw was held back -- I haven't decided if it's injury or he was going to be a medicine cat or if he left Pineclan for a period.)
Froststar watched Sheepfur carefully and nervously as he descended from his tree. She leaned into him for a moment, giving him a quick once-over. She stepped back once she was sure the tom was fine. "I haven't found anyone yet, I barely found the camp at first. The water washed away borders and landmarks," she commented softly as she looked around the camp. "Pineclan may want to leave the camp," her heart seized up at the idea of leaving their home. "It may be best for us to move further away from the river... Or to new territory." She sat down with a sigh. "Most of the prey will have drowned and who knows if any of the herbs survived."
Icepaw sniffled softly as the queen comforted her. "T-Thank you, Willowpatch," the black apprentice said softly. She glanced up at the sky for a moment, hoping Fishfur could see her. Help Graywhisker make it home safely, Fishfur. "At least Fishfur is with Batkit and Dewkit," the apprentice said softly, her brothers who had been born weak. She padded to her mother's body. She helped lift the former queen, glancing at Willowpatch. "What about Blackmoss, did he escape with you?" She asked softly, wanting to know the tom was safe and waiting for them back at camp.

Sheepfur watched his leader with wide, sorrowful eyes. "We can rebuild," he mewed hopefully, his chest tightening at Froststar's words. He did not want to leave his home, PineClan had taken him in when he had been abandoned as a young kit, and they had raised him as one of their own. But as he gazed around at the ruins of their camp, he realised with a pang of despair that they might have no other choice; the flood had devastated their home and it had likely taken the lives of some of the cats he called his friends and family. He sighed, tail drooping. "But you're probably right, Froststar...this could happen again, and it could be worse than it was this time," the curly-furred tom murmured. He lifted his head and met his leader's eyes, a newfound determination flashing in the sage-coloured depths. "We have to find our Clanmates. PineClan has to be whole again."
Willowpatch bowed her head at Icepaw's words, shifting her shoulders to distribute Fishfur's weight more evenly across them; she wanted to be gentle with her friend. "I...I don't know," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper, "I lost him as we were leaving the camp, one minute he was there and the next...he just wasn't." Her blue eyes swam with sorrow and worry. "Blackmoss is so strong, he always says that nothing will ever take him away from me and our kits - I'm just...worried." She sighed and began to walk, padding slowly to ensure that Icepaw could keep up. "We have always relied on the river, and yet look at what it has done to us," her voice was soft yet grave as she spoke, her eyes glassy.

Froststar looked over the destroyed camp, sighing softly as she pressed against Sheepfur for a moment. "Yes. We must find PineClan and regain our strength," she began padding towards the center of the camp, where the Fresh-Kill pile had once sat and looked around. The Leader's Den and the High Rock stood tall. The bushes and log that had formed other dens were long gone now and her heart sank. They wouldn't even have much shelter during the night. "Where do we even begin, Sheepfur? Find our clanmates or set up nests for those who may be injured?"
Icepaw was careful as she padded beside the queen. She didn't want the queen to get hurt or drop her mother's body. "I'm sure he will be fine," she mewed softly. "He's out looking for you right now or he's padding around camp, worrying himself about you." She said, glancing at the queen. "It's like a friend has betrayed us," she said softly. "F-Fishfur taught me to swim in the river when I was a kit... I never thought... I still don't believe the river has hurt us."

Sheepfur thought for a moment, furrowing his brow. "I think we should wait here for a while, and try to clear out at least some of the debris between us. The others will begin to return now that the floodwater has gone down and the rain has stopped, so maybe it's best if we stay here until at least a few of our Clanmates come home," he offered, "because that way they won't return to an empty camp." With a jolt of something akin to panic he remembered that this was his leader he was addressing. "Of course," he mewed hastily, "the final decision is yours, Froststar." He tried to recall the last moments of the walls breaking down, and in his mind he counted the cats he saw escape, attempting to put names to the tails retreating through the entrance. "I think I saw Blackmoss escape through the tunnel, but I can't recall seeing Willowpatch at all. The apprentices all got out - a couple of them went through the wall at the back of the camp with some warriors. Fishfur, Greywhisker, Skyrunner..." he frowned, the cogs in his head working hard to figure out where everyone might have gone. "I suppose some of them could've gone upriver, where the water is shallower, or deeper into the forest so the floodwater wouldn't reach them," he suggested.
Willowpatch heaved a sigh, her long tail drooping and trailing the moist grass. "I do hope you're right, little one," she murmured, "the Clan has already suffered an irreplaceable loss." Her heart ached with the weight of Fishfur's body balanced on her shoulders; if returning Icepaw to her father wasn't her primary concern, she would've wept a second flood. "Nature is a fickle thing, sweet one - we cannot predict its course or its intentions, we can only brace ourselves for whatever it may place in our path," the queen mewed solemnly, her eyes dark. She tasted the air, hoping to pick up any trace of their Clanmates, but it seemed that the water had washed away all distinguishable scents: prey, border and cat. "The others will be at camp waiting for us, I know it. And Greywhisker will be there too," she assured the still-shaken apprentice, offering her a kind glance.

Her beauty is only enhanced when you gaze into her striking dark green eyes followed by her dark pink nose, both are which lined with black skin. Lynxgaze is generally an easy going she-cat who loves her clan. At times she can be reckless, but it's mostly due to her young age and impulsive decisions. She loves to climb and explore new places, and is always willing to push herself to new limits. {Falconwing}

I'm going to make a couple more cats so the Clan is a bit larger until some more people join! ^^
[Elder] Heronwing - 93 moons - Heronwing is a large, broad-shouldered solid blue-grey tom with amber eyes and torn ears. In his old age, his impressive strength has diminished, and although he is still a relatively powerful cat he is nowhere near as strong and sturdy on his legs as he used to be. His pelt is marred with countless scars from as many battles, and his fur has begun to thin out from its once thick and sleek state. He often contracts the common cough and can usually be heard wheezing from a mile off, but his stubborn nature will not let him agree to medicine in order to cure it. He is a patient and fatherly cat with an incredible soft spot for kits, and his old age has mellowed him into quite the effective diplomat. He's a logical thinker and tends to read between the lines in order to find solutions for problems rather than assessing the obvious. He is still a surprisingly strong swimmer and would often frequent the shallower parts of the river on the orders of the medicine cat to help with his stiff joints. - owlspots
[Medicine Cat's Apprentice] Mothpaw - 12 moons - Mothpaw is a tall, dusty tabby tom with a thick, fluffy pelt that makes him seem a lot larger than he actually is. - owlspots
[Warrior] Applefoot - 23 moons - Applefoot is a short she-cat with an average build and semi-thick fur that sticks out in tufts on her neck and the sides of her face. She is mostly cream-coloured, with dark ginger, close to russet tabby patches dotting her head, spine and tail. She can often be argumentative and is very stubborn regardless of whether she's in the right or not - she has trouble recognising when she is wrong. She is a pleasant enough cat to talk to, but loses her patience quite quickly and has a bit of a short fuse where her temper is concerned. - owlspots

Froststar nodded. "I agree, Sheepfur. Once cats have made their way back we can send out search parties," the leader mewed softly. Her blue eyes took in the camp, trying to decide where they would even start or if any debris could be used to create temporary dens for PineClan to shelter under. "Well. Let's get our camp cleared out... Try to make nests in the Leader's den... If any cats return injured sick, or when Willowpatch returns, they will sleep in the den. It's warm and protected... The rest of us..." Her eyes wandered the camp again. "Will shelter in the open or in makeshift dens." The gray she-cat leaned down, sniffing at some branches lying on the ground. She lifted a paw, nudging the wood. "Some of the branches may be useful for dens."
Icepaw lowered her head, walking in solemn silence beside Willowpatch. She thought of clanmates, wondering if she would see any of them again. The elders that had told her stories. Would Pigeonfur and Heronwing be waiting for them? Or were the elders too old to escape the raging waters? She prayed to Starclan that Spidereye and Mothpaw would be at camp as well, ready to treat the injured... If they had any herbs left in their stores or the ability to find any herbs in the forest. She raised her gaze, her blue eyes meeting Willowpatch's blue eyes. "Thank you," she murmured softly.

Sheepfur nodded briskly, pricking his ears. "If we move the larger branches and sticks out of the way, we can put them to one side and reuse those for the dens, but the smaller ones probably won't be of much use," he observed, already sniffing at the pile of debris cluttering the roots of the tree he had been perched in previously. He clasped his teeth around the end of a relatively decent-sized branch and yanked hard, dislodging it from the pile. He turned back to Froststar for a moment, curiosity sparking in his chest. "Do you think the rest of the Clan will be up to move the entire camp? Where would we go?" he asked through the wood in his mouth, voice rather muffled.
Willowpatch brushed Icepaw's flank soothingly with her tail. "Any time, sweet one," she mewed gently. As she kept walking, the wet undergrowth dragging against her fur, she could've sworn she heard voices from nearby. She pricked her ears and looked around intently, but it was like they disappeared almost as soon as they'd floated their way on the wind. She was certain they were nearing the camp - or at least, she hoped so. The landscape around them had been completely decimated by the floodwater, and much of the territory was almost entirely unrecognisable from what she'd seen since they left the riverbank. She almost cried with joy upon glimpsing the torn remains of the camp walls through the ruined foliage ahead, still rather far away yet so, so close. "Icepaw, we're home!" she whispered, her eyes shining with tears of both relief and sorrow.
Heronwing snarled, yanking his hindquarters free of the river and onto dry land. The old blue-furred tom looked around through slanted eyes, scanning his surroundings. "Pigeonfur!" he yowled, his voice hoarse with age and exhaustion, "Pigeonfur, where are you?" He could've sworn she had been right beside him before he'd fallen into the river, and now the grey she-cat was nowhere to be seen. He shook his thinning fur free of as much water as he could shed and began to make his way downstream in the direction they'd come from; maybe she was further along the shore than where he'd washed up? "Is anyone out there? Come help an old fleabag out, would ya?" he called, praying to StarClan that at least someone would answer his call.
Applefoot banged her paws against the rock that had trapped her beneath the roots of one of the trees surrounding the camp. "Is anybody out there?" she called, her breathing heavy and ragged with panic, "I'm stuck!" She took a moment to catch her breath before backing up in the tiny space she had to move and charging at the rock, slamming into it with her shoulder. The rock still wouldn't budge.

Fur still on end Spidereyes pelt looked as if he had been struck by lightning. He had recieved a vision of the flash flood just before it happened, but the medicine cat already knew that some cats didnt make it. His claws ached from having been gripping the pine trees trunk for so low. The water finally receded back into the rivers bank and the black tom began to make his way down. Once on the soggy forest floor the tom looked at the destruction that came from the powerful wave. Trying his best to shake himself free of shock, the medicine cat then began to rush back towards the clans camp knowing that there might be cats who need his attention. As his long legs carried him swiftly in the correct direction Spidereye kept his senses alert in search of clan members, more specifically his own apprentice Mothpaw.

Lynxgaze lay awkwardly, tangled within a pile of debris. The once beautiful young she-cat, now unconscious fur matted and plastered full of mud, leaves, and tiny twigs. The poor warrior had been unable to escape the wave of water that had swept her up and slammed her into a tree truck knocking her unconscious. ((If someone wants to find and save her that'd be awesome))

Firesnap was doing his best to make it back to camp his front left paw held up against his chest. The large tom had injured it in his desperate attempt to escape the flood waters. Now he was following the river back to the clans camp hoping that the rest of his clan was still alive. Just as he had managed to make it over a pile of sticks and leaves he could hear the familiar voice of Heronwing calling out. "Over here!", the warrior quickly called out as he quickened hid pace and made gus way towards his clanmate. His heart felt so good to lay eyes on a clanmate, happy to see the other tom, his drenched tail waved. "Are you okay?"

Froststar followed in his pawsteps and gripped a branch in her jaws, dragging it towards where the camp had once been. Her eyes glanced at Sheepfur, staying silent until she had dropped the branch against where the barrier had once sat. "I don't know. I hope that once they realize the destruction may have taken away our herbs and prey they will be open to moving." She padded towards another pile of debris. "Upstream maybe? I'm sure the forest continues for quite some distance."
Icepaw kept her head lowered as they padded. She was scared she would look up and see the still body of another clanmate. Once Willowpatch spoke they were home, she looked up. Seeing the remains of their camp ahead but a bounce in her step. "At least there are some remains of our camp." It was a sign of hope. PineClan still had a home, at least.
Rainpaw and Pebblecloud had found each other before the flooding had started. As the water washed them downstream, clinging onto each other and trying to keep their heads above the water. Now the littermates were padding back up the river. Pebblecloud's tail drooped and dragged on the ground. Her silver pelt covered in mud. Rainpaw kept his ears perked, trying to listen for any cats in help. He opened his mouth, tasting the air of scents when he caught the faint scent of Lynxgaze.
The dark gray tom sped up, hurrying to follow the scent. He stopped when he saw she-cat's body within the debris. He carefully began to pull on the debris, trying to untangle Lynxgaze. As he worked on freeing the she-cat, unsure if she was alive or not, Pebblecloud went in search of moss to soak to try and wake the she-cat.
Finally, Rainpaw was able to grip her scruff and pull her out of the debris. He carefully set her body down, laying her on her side while he lapped at her ears and face, trying to wake her.

Finally reaching the wreckage of what used to be the clans camp Spidereye was so grateful to Starclan to see that some of his clanmates had already returned. Rushing forwards he gave a greeting meow and headed straight for Froststar. "Are you okay?" He questioned looking at her and then looking around them. "Is this everyone so far?"

Pulled from the darkness by the soothing lapping of someone's tongue rasping over her face Lynxgaze took in a deep breath. She could feel life returning to her body as she no longer took shallow breaths, but full and deep ones. Her eyes slowly blinked open, but not all the way, she still felt so weak. Her whole body ached as if she had been hit by a monster. To her surpirse it was Rainpaw who had brought her back to the waking world, "Rain..paw..?", she questioned everything in her mind still felt quite fuzzy.

Sheepfur nodded, dropping his branch beside Froststar's and returning to the base of the tree to grab another. He hauled it towards the wall and stacked it with the others. "I hope so, because we won't be able to survive without food or herbs," he fretted, eyes misted with faint worry. He looked up into the forest upstream, gaze fixed on a spot beyond the trees that was far out of his sight or imagination. "I wonder what it's like out there, where we've never even been before. We might have to move really far away..." His head snapped round as a new voice reached his ears, and he almost yowled with delight as he spotted Spidereye rushing into the camp. "Spidereye!" he greeted gleefully, waving his tail at the medicine cat, "You made it!"
Willowpatch purred with eager yet bittersweet delight. "I bet Froststar is waiting for us," she told Icepaw, exchanging a glance with the young black she-cat, "and lots of our Clanmates have already returned." The camp was getting closer now, it seemed like she could almost reach out and touch the broken walls even if they were still a little ways off. Anticipation pricking her paws with every step she took, she pushed on determinedly. The entrance, she noted, was completely ruined by both the water and the sheer impact of the PineClan cats after they had set upon it in their frenzy to escape. They finally reached it, and suddenly everything became so much heavier: her body, Fishfur, her sadness, they became crippling weights that seized her breath from her chest. Her stomach ached, either her kits or something else, and as she emerged into the camp her legs gave way beneath her and she collapsed beside the body of Fishfur.
Heronwing glanced over his shoulder, stopping in his tracks. Had someone answered? He could've sworn he heard a voice. He squinted, and was soon able to make out the shape of Firesnap emerging from the grass, drenched to the bone and holding his forepaw close to his chest as though he was wounded. "Kid, you have no idea how happy I am to see you," he grunted with a rusty, rumbling purr, making his way over to the younger tom, "have you seen Pigeonfur anywhere? Could've sworn she was with me, I saw her on the riverbank but then the dirt gave way and I fell in and washed up here." He shook out his fur as a shudder ran up his spine. The elderly tom's chest seized and something tightened around his lungs, and he collapsed into a coughing fit, breath wheezing between each short burst.
Barleypaw soon found himself back at camp despite his bleeding leg slowing him down considerably. The back wall seemed like it was mostly still standing, with a few holes here and there. He could see the hole torn from the inside where he, his sister Beepaw and some others had escaped; there were at least four different colours of fur snagged on the branches. Who else got out? He shouldered his way into the camp, eyes wide and frantic as a large part of him was convinced that nobody would be there when he returned. He almost crumbled with relief when his eyes fell on Froststar, Spidereye and Sheepfur gathered at the other end of the camp. "F-Froststar," he began, his voice shaking as he approached, "I-I think I really hurt my leg."
Beepaw gazed around with round, scared eyes. She had no idea where she was, or how to get back to camp, or where her mentor and her brother had gone, or if anybody else was nearby. "H-Hello," she called out in a whimper, "is anybody t-there?"
Applefoot slumped against the rock that she had been trying so hard to push out of the way. Nobody was out there, it seemed, and that meant that she was stuck beneath the roots of the tree.
Mothpaw could've sworn he'd seen that stump before. He felt like he was going around in circles: everything looked the same and he never seemed to find anything new. All the scents had been washed away so he didn't know where the borders or even any of his herb patches were so he knew where he was going. He hadn't seen another soul in what felt like forever, or even heard anybody's voice.
