Seedpaw hesitantly stood back, watching Fogstar with uncertainty in her hazel eyes. "Should I make sure the herb stores are full? We have an awful lot of wounded, I can start sending them into the medicine den one at a time and make a start, if you'd like," she offered, peeling her gaze away from her leader so she could look at Owltuft.

Palethroat hovered nervously at the edge of the medicine den, at a loss for what to do. He wanted to help - was desperate too - but he was an awful fighter, he'd spent the whole battle cowering in the corners of camp. "I -" his voice trembled. "I - I can help gather herbs," he offered quietly, as he heard Seedpaw speaking inside.

Fogstar weakly groaned and looked to Owltuft. "Why can't I go to my den? It's safe there? Where's Tigerstripe? Why isn't anyone looking for him?!" He hissed, trying to look around the camp. The leader was delirious, obviously, but he wanted to know his warriors were okay. He had already seen a few where not which had sent him into a dark place in his mind. He was supposed to protect his clan and here he was, wounded beyond a doubt. He let out a low sigh and hung his head low trying to hide his face from the others.

Duckfoot made quick work of the last few rocks that had Tigerstripe pinned, as they were much smaller than the one they had just shifted. The tabby warrior lay among the dust and debris, splayed out awkwardly on his side. His legs were stuck out at odd angles, and even a blind cat would have been able to tell that at least two of them were badly broken. His face was almost unrecognisable underneath all the blood and the massive open wound on his cheek, and his eyes were swollen to the point of being almost closed. But he was breathing, and Duckfoot couldn't comprehend how Tigerstripe had managed to survive such an impact. However, he was quickly shoved aside as Brambleflower flung herself to her brother's side, all but collapsing beside him as she pushed her nose into his fur.

"Tigerstripe! Oh, StarClan!" Brambleflower cried, lurching forwards and pushing past Duckfoot and Goosefoot to reach her brother. She couldn't bring herself to look at his broken body, his bones shattered and his eyes swollen shut, so she just pushed her muzzle into the fur of his neck for a moment, absolutely floored by the overwhelming relief of finding him alive. She began to lap furiously at the open wound on his cheek, grimacing at the dusty metallic taste of blood mixed in with dirt as it coated her tongue. Tigerstripe stirred beneath her, an agonised groan escaping his parted jaws as he tried to move; he probably didn't even know the extent of his own injuries, Brambleflower realised with a pang of anguish.

Seedpaw looked to Palethroat, gratitude flashing in her eyes. "Yes, thank you," she breathed, her voice strained with the effort of remaining semi-composed. Raised voices in the camp drew her attention and she peered around the pale-furred tom; Brambleflower, Duckfoot and Goosefoot hovered by a pile of debris at the camp entrance, and Seedpaw gasped as she recognised the dark tabby pelt of Tigerstripe on the ground by their paws. "T-Tigerstripe-" she stammered out, pointing with her tail in the direction of the body, her eyes wide with fear. Without waiting, Seedpaw whirled around and raced towards the medicine den to get herbs. Her Clanmates needed her help.

A small smile appeared on his face relieved to see Ashpelt. βThings are not looking good can you please take over for right now.βLooking at Fogstar in his delirious state his smile disappeared again. His voice dropping to whisper, he leaned over into the deputy ear,βI'm going to give some herbs to Fogstar to have him out for awhile till things calm down.βHis eyes burned resentment for the tom. Fogstar had truly dug a hole for himself but the real question was; How would the clan react towards him? With a sigh he nudged Fogstar in the direction of his den.

Sanddune agreed, and she looked up, alerted when she heard the yowl. Emberpaw suggested the two go check it out, and Sandune agreed. "I'll follow you," she meowed, standing up to follow Emberpaw. Her heart fell at the idea of them losing yet another cat. The death toll was growing too large.

Ashpelt tensed, but nodded in response. After all, that was his job; take over when Fogstar could not lead. He gave his leader one last look, then made his way to the tall ledge. Standing at the end of the ledge and looking out on the clearing, Ashpelt's face dropped. There was blood everywhere, and he wasn't sure how much of it was Cedarclan. "Cats of Fogclan!" he yowled, hopefully drawing the attention of his clanmates. "This was a terrible battle, and some... unfortunate information has been shared with us all. Despite what we have lost and what we have learned, we can not let our faith in leadership or in Starclan waver. If Fogstar was not meant to lead, he would not have become leader. I understand how some of you might feel; Fogstar became leader through a terrible act, and for it, we lost many clanmates. But for every life we lost, there is a new one to take its place. There are kits in the nursery, the first kits to be born in Fogclan. The lives lost were not in vain, and so, in this time of confusion, have faith in Fogstar, and myself. This battle will not be forgotten, nor should it be. You're all dismissed." With his speech given, Ashpelt leaped down from the tall ledge and padded towards Gingerstripe, who was still next to Dappleleaf's body.

Fawnstep looked up to Ashpelt when he gave his speech, scoffing at his words. She hurried to the entrance of the cave with Badgerpaw's body, not really feeling like arguing with the deputy. Such a leader, right? Even if Ashpelt is blind, at least he's a good deputy... She sighed and nodded to Shadefang on her way out, heading down the side of the mountain towards the big Cedar tree by the water.

Emberpaw sped up once she saw what caused the commotion. She stopped just a few feet away from her mentor's body, close enough to let herself to be relieved that he was still alive, but it was also close enough to see the extent of the damage. She didn't dare to get any closer, as if doing so would break even the little bit of illusion that everything was fine. She couldn't bring herself to say anything, instead opting to stare at the cats who had actually helped him. Selfishly she backed up a few steps, not wanting to see how injured Tigerstripe was but not wanting to leave entirely. She knew that there were other cats a lot closer to him that she was, he was just her mentor. With that thought came another: was she going to have to change mentors again? Could Tigerstripe still be a warrior after these injuries heal? She barely registered the words from Ashpelt, though catching just enough to understand that he was trying to instill hope in the clan.

Sanddune stared down in horror at the sight of Tigerstripe, frozen in her spot. Fogclan was going through so much, and it was all because the fool that Ravenstar was. Sanddune shook her head, trying to hold back her emotions, and quickly looked towards Emberpaw. The young apprentice looked deep in thought. She rested her tail on Emberpaw's shoulder. "It will be okay," she tried to force a smile, attempting to comfort the younger cat.

Willowpatch watched Ashpelt leap down from the tall ledge. When she had heard Ravenstar's sneering declaration, she had at first not dared to believe it - Fogstar was their leader, he was a good cat chosen by StarClan to lead their Clan. But Fogstar had not denied Ravenstar's accusations. Looking around at the cats in the camp, she wondered just how many of them still supported Fogstar and could proclaim an unwavering loyalty; she could see doubt, anger, resentment, sadness and fear in eyes of every shade. How could Fogstar expect the Clan to trust him now? He had named her a warrior, and for that she was grateful. She would support Fogstar, even if the others didn't.

Snaketooth was still bleeding but he seemed to be better now, the blood drying on his back. With Nightwish's body being carried to the Cedar tree he wanted to go there, but he didn't want to be alone down there...would Robinsong go with him or would she say no? He searched the crowd of cats for her, wondering where she had run off to. The speech Ashpelt had given still rang in his ears too, would he still follow Fogstar? Yes, Fogstar is forever my leader, he let us bring back the cats...even if they died here...at least they died in the battle. He pushed the thought back, continuing on his search for Robinsong.

Brambleflower fastened her teeth into Tigerstripe's scruff, digging her paws into the cave floor as she pulled, wanting to at least get him clear of the rubble. However, she was forced to drop him as the tabby warrior screeched in agony, suddenly wide awake. "Somebody get a medicine cat!" she cried out, panic coursing through her. Perfectly on cue, Seedpaw was beside her with a bundle of herbs in her mouth. The young medicine cat looked terrified, and Brambleflower understood why - even she had never seen injuries like this before, and she was twice Seedpaw's age.

Emberpaw's tail flicked from side to side in response to Sanddune. "I'm sure she would like to hear that as well" She muttered, her tail flicking in the direction of the distraught she-cat. Emberpaw had no idea if this was going to be fine like she was told. Tigerstripe looked like he was in a lot of pain, and if it wasn't for Seedpaw almost immediately being on scene, she probably would have turned tail to run to get Owltuft. Instead she looked around at the rubble, trying to figure out what might still be possible to move without jostling Tigerstripe too much, not that she could tell, there was just too much going on to see what might cause more rubble to fall and what would make it easier for Seedpaw to work. Instead her gaze started to wonder to the other cats who had wondered over, trying to figure out if any of them had an idea on how to safely remove the rubble.

Sanddune nodded, yet couldn't push herself forward quite yet to try to console the other cats. She lifted her head in a sudden wave of determination. "I'm not sure how, but I think with more cats we can carefully move some of that rubble out of the way, so we can get him out," she meowed to Emberpaw. She made her way over to where Brambleflower was. "I think if we somehow cleared some of the rubble, we can get him out of there," she suggested. "We're going to help him," her meow was softer. On the inside, her heart was racing with anxiety, but she knew she had to hold hope, for her former clanmate.

"Do you- Do you know the extent of his injuries?" Seedpaw asked, glancing up at Brambleflower. The queen, her eyes filled with horror and anguish, whispered something about broken legs. Seedpaw looked back down at Tigerstripe's body, and her gaze was immediately drawn to his legs that stuck out at unnatural angles. She hesitantly reached out and pressed her paw gently against his hind leg, and the dark tabby warrior's pained whimpers turned into an ear-splitting howl of agony. Seedpaw snatched her paw back, fur bristling with alarm, but quickly managed to compose herself. She felt more than a little nervous without Owltuft by her side, guiding her, but she knew that she had to work fast if she wanted to save Tigerstripe. "I need the area cleared, make sure nobody comes over here," she instructed, "and I need sticks - strong ones, I need them to make splints for his legs. His hind legs are broken, and his forelegs are badly bruised." She cursed inwardly, lashing her tail as she realised that they had used the cobweb they had brought with them on Fogstar's wounds. "Someone look for some cobweb!"

Palethroat rushed off as soon as Seedpaw spoke β fallen logs were usually filled with cobwebs (and cobwebs meant spiders). There were multiple not far from camp. "Follow me!" he called to Sweetmaple.
Jayleap fell into step behind him. "Where β"
"Fallen logs," Palethroat told him.

Sweetmaple followed Palethroat quickening her pace to keep up with the cream coloured tom "I think theres a couple logs near the flowing stream" she remarked "we will have to hurry"
As the three cats ran, she got a good look at the two of them, Jayleap was long and lean and she probably would have thought he was handsome if he wasn't so thin and snarly.
Palethroat was another case, he seemed to be shy and cowardly based on her first impressions but he bore the scars of a cat who got into fights far to often.

Snaketooth didn't say anything at first, instead he buried his head into her neck, taking in her scent. She was safe, she was okay. At least he still had her in the camp, that's one positive thing to look forward to. "Yes, I'm..physically okay. Emotionally? To be quiet honest, Robinsong, I'm not well. For once in my life, I'm willing to admit I'm not emotionally well. Nightwish is dead but it's not just him..B-Brambleflower...Badgerpaw..they're all gone. We should have done something. I should have killed Ravenstar the moment I saw him across that river, or when I saw him attack Fogstar all those moons ago." He sighed, there was no point in living in what ifs but he wanted to, he wanted to imagine what life would have been life if Ravenstar had just been killed sooner. Before he brought all this death and destruction to their camp.

Duckfoot spun on his haunches and raced after Palethroat. While they were looking for cobwebs, he wanted to look for some sticks that would be strong enough to bind against Tigerstripe's legs as Seedpaw had instructed. He knew that the young medicine cat's apprentice was trying her hardest to remain calm and positive, but Duckfoot couldn't shake the niggling feeling that she was running on false hope; would Tigerstripe ever be a warrior again after sustaining such horrible injuries? His hind legs were completely shattered, for StarClan's sake - if he ever walked again, Duckfoot didn't know how he'd ever keep up with the rest of the Clan.

(i did make a post with pondwhisker asking to join the patrol but i'll type it again in case you missed it)
Pondwhisker slowly padded over to Berryfur and Hawkwing. "If you're going on patrol," he began, his voice soft and hesitant, "would it be alright if I came along?" He didn't want to intrude, and if they told him 'no' then he would immediately leave and not press the matter further, but he didn't want to stay in camp with everything that was going on - he had to clear his head so he could think straight.
