Snowfeather purred," That sounds cool, did he lose a life?" The she-cat liked this story, this intrigued her.

Clearwhisker blinked, "Well he got an infection afetr a deep bite and lost a life there, but other than that he was fine. We were worried that the dog might come back, but i knew that a dog like that wouldn't hurt us. So, sillest thing i did, i followed the dog scents.." |

Clearwhisker chuckled, "We'll I was young and naive then, but those dogs were yapping so loud, i think even the cats at camp could've heard it!" |

"Of course," nodded Blackpaw, "I just wasn't sure if you wanted to continue." Blackpaw looked around and scented the air looking for another rabbit. He spotted one around a bush further down the meadow. He slowly stalked up to the bush, looking at the rabbit behind it. If he continued to stalk the rabbit he was afraid it would run away, but he also wasn't sure if he could mimic Mossheart's leap. He thought about it and decided her leap wasn't all that different from climbing from tree to tree as he'd done in the forest. He pretended he was in a tree and leapt around the bush toward the rabbit. His leap wasn't great and he missed the rabbit, startling it, but now he had a better idea of what he was supposed to do. He took off after the rabbit catching up to it and pouncing on top of it before giving the rabbit a killing bite.

Cloudwhisper nodded. " Ok. I'll go find some more prey." She padded off, following a squirrel scent trail. She found its bushy tail and stalked up to it before pouncing. She had hit something as she leapt, and the squirrel shot off. Cloudwhisper flicked her ears as she landed, not bothering to give chase, knowing it had run up a tree. She looked and scented around for more prey, instead. "I'm going to look over there."Said Laurelmist, walking to some brambles."It looks like a good place to find chipmunks." |
