Badgerfall looked around hoping to go back with more prey.
He caught scent of a pigeon. Hmm... I'm not very good at hunting birds, but I it's better than returning with only a rabbit. He thinks sternly, stalking around to find the pigeon.

"Thanks Rosepaw but I think she's coming out right now." Rainheart said, giving a smile to the orange apprentice before turning her attention to Snowpaw. "Hi Snowpaw!" She said, giving a warm smile. "I hope you got some good sleep. Today I was thinking of reviewing basic fighting moves and perhaps learn a new one. If you're hungry you're welcome to eat first."

Snowpaw nodded," I'll eat something real quick then we can practice." She stretched then padded to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a small mouse. She placed it down a few mousetails from the pile and quickly ate it before looking at her mentor," I'm ready."

"Alright, then we'll head out." Rainheart mewed. They soon arrived at the training clearing and the fluffy white and black she-cat spun around on her paws to face her apprentice. "What I'd like you to do first is show me your technique on some moves. First, I want you to rear up onto your hind legs and do a few slashes and then immediately do a duck and twist." She instructed.

Robinfeather finished her prey before standing up and licking her lips. She sniffed the air then looked around looking for her apprentice, Moonpaw.

Moonpaw stood up from her nest in the apprentice's den, stretching each of her legs out. Excitement coursed through her at the thought of the day ahead. She wondered what Robinfeather had planned for today. The silver apprentice walked out into the open and spotted her mentor not too far away. Moonpaw dashed over, nearly tripping over herself in the process. "Hi Robinfeather!" She said. "How are you doing?"

Robinfeather turned, noticing Moonpaw. "Moonpaw!" She exclaimed, "there you are!" She answered with a purr. "I wanted to do something different today, were going to do some battle training today" she smiled, looking down at her apprentice.

"That sounds good to me!" Moonpaw chirped, beginning to dance on her paws. She loved battle training, it was always fun and an important aspect of clan life. "Are you gonna teach me a new move?"

"We'll see" Robinfeather smiled, the deputy began to think about some moves. there are a few moves i havent taught Moonpaw yet, but im not sure if shes ready yet, some of them are quite hard to complete.

"Alright." She replied. Even if they just ended up reviewing for their session it would be just as good. "I've been practicing a few moves that you've shown me in my free time and I think they're pretty good." Moonpaw boasted. Realizing she was acting boastful she quickly dipped her head down in embarrassment to smooth a tuff of fur. "Sorry." She apologized.

"Ok!" She mewed, following behind her mentor. Moonpaw watched as Robinfeather lead the way and thought how cool it was to have the clan deputy as her mentor. And how hard she'd have to work in order to show how great a warrior she would be one day.

As Robinfeather lead Moonpaw out of camp, the thick amount of trees and bushes left into a large area. "Right" Robinfeather meowed as she padded into the wide area. "Lets see what you can remember" she waved her tail.

Fireblaze trotted across the area, leaving his apprentice to catch her own prey. He soon spotted a sparrow and crouched down and slowly crept up towards it. Once close to it, he lept forward and brought it down, bringing his teeth to its neck. He then caught another bird that had been close. Sastified with what he had caught, he made his way back towards the meeting area. He saw Cloudwhisper sitting in the area and he waved his tail in greeting, mouth to full to talk. He set his catch next to her and looked admiringly at what she caught. "Looks like you had good hunting." He commented. Cloudwhisper nodded at Fireblaze. "Indeed. It looks like you had good hunting, too, Fireblaze." Dawnpaw had hunted a robin that she had caught purely on luck. She went back the way she came, unburying her prey as she padded back to the clearing. She noticed most of the patrol back and dipped her head after placing her prey down. It seemed to her that everyone had good hunting today. |

Snowpaw nodded and reared up, slashing the air a couple of times. Her tail was close to the ground has she slashed. She then went to duck and twist but lost balance and fell to the ground.

(Hey all! ) Fireblaze watched as the rest of his patrol entered the clearing. "I think we have enough for now." He announced. "Let's head back now." The dark ginger tom picked up his prey and headed back towards camp.

She then dropped down to her belly and rolled to the side and stumbled clumsily to her paws before moving her jaws open and closed to an imaginary enemy. Panting slightly, she looked to Robinfeather. Rainheart watched as Snowpaw finished the moves she had asked. She noticed her form had been slightly off but knew it wouldn't be hard to fix. "A good attempt Snowpaw!" She called out, trotting up to her. "Your form was a bit off on both moves though. When you crouch, make sure to keep your weight evenly balanced like this." Rainheart demonstrated and stood back up. "Why don't you try both moves again?"

Spottedpaw padded over to Streamstar," do you think you could help me gather some herbs?" She flicked her ears, hoping that Streamstar would help her.
Snowpaw nodded and balanced herself, hoping to get the move right. She tried again, keeping her balance this time.
