The Heartland has no Clans, no traditions, and no code. Mothers and sometimes fathers name their kits whatever may come to mind, usually after something in nature. Names can be a fickle subject, but if it's inspired by something in nature, even if its a humanized name, if it has a nature root, it is allowed. (Examples include Glen, which means forest, or Avis, which is bird in latin.) In this Primal Era, cats do not have prefixes or suffixes, but they do have a thing known as 'titles'. Titles are normally after where a cat is from, such as Windingwood or Broken Heath. Rarely, cats are named after prominent traits or deeds they have performed in their life. (Examples include Forest of the Windingwood, or Caligo of the Cold.) With this in mind, not all cats have or want titles, and they aren't obligated to. Some cats also decide to inherit their parents titles in honor of them.
