Rate Warrior names -- Tough

ill give it a try. i havent done one of these since the old official forums :,) reasons for each rating would be nice. some of these names are for a fanclan i made where all prefuxes are flower/plant-based, which is why some more out there prefixes like zinia and hibiscus are in there

Amberwing   (Seems like something I've seen several times. So not a bad name, just a bit overused.)
Blossomdust   (Actually like this decent enough! I haven't seen it before.)
Briardusk   (Hum. I find it hard for -dusk to succeed as well/often.)
Carnationdust   (Very long name and hard to say.)
Cloverfall   (Something I'd expect a background character to be named.)
Foxsnout   (Interesting that you used -snout, but both awkward and meh ... not very interesting.)
Hibiscusbloom   (Seems to be just run of the mill name when you ignore the slightly unusual prefix.)
Laurelwing   (Just don't seem that interesting.)
Lotuscloud   (I like this name for some reason.)
Lynxfoot   (Same as above. Might just be because I've never seen Lynx- used before.)
Nettlefang   (9.9% sure this is a name in the books, so I've seen it a fair amount.)
Rosebright   (I like flower names that seem to match.)
Shiverthorn   (I'm not sure why I like this so much. The combo just seems short and sweet and one I haven't seen before.)
Snowsplash   (It just works well together!)
Sundapple   (Kinda boring, all things considered.)
Thistlehawk   (I'm not sure if I've seen this name before, but it sounds like it would be given to a prickly cat, so I like that I can maybe tell a bit of personality.)
Swanfrost   (The visuals I get when I read this is nice.)
Whitewillow   (I really like it. It just has a nice sound to it when said aloud.)
Ziniaspark   (Huuum. -spark isn't something I particularly like very often when paired with a plant.)

another go at it! reasons would be nice, seeing them helped me improve some of the names i had :>

Brightleaf   (Seems like a name that I'd see for a background character in Warriors.)
Chestnuttuft   (A bit long and awkward. Particularly the double 'tt')
Drizzlepelt   (Also a bit awkward. Mostly because Drizzle- is a bit hard to fit with a lot of things.)
Hollowstone   (It's decent, but also a bit bland.)
Hollyhaze   (Kinda like it, but mostly because I like Holly- and I don't see -haze very often.)
Meadowcloud   (Very certainly an already existing name, if memory serves.)
Mistberry   (Hard combo to make, but I like it well enough.)
Nightfall   (Quite frankly, it's clique, but I like it regardless.)
Plumspots   (Eh. Brings up some very eeeeh imagery.)
Ripplefrost   (I think it works well together, since it brings to mind frozen ripples.)
Scorchtooth   (Sounds like capable warrior's name, but also has some lengthy vowels.)
Tulipspeckle   (Similar to Plumspots, really.)
Violetmask   (I don't see -mask used nearly enough to my liking. Also it works decently with Violet- )

Can I have an explanation for the ratings? Thanks! ))

1. Amberwish   (The two parts don't really match very well, so sounds a bit disjointed.)
2. Meadowshine   (I like it well enough. It just doesn't flow as well as I think it could be.)
3. Softstrike   (Sounds awkward and I don't see it being used in the books.)
4. Emberwave   (Two combinations that are really cool.)
5. Fogmask   (I find this to be a very cool combo.)
6. Sparrowfeather   (I've seen this name a lot.)
7. Frostwhisker   (Pretty, albeit a bit long.)
8. Tigergaze   (I've also seen this name a lot and it's a bit generic.)
9. Cloudspots   (Pretty generic and I've seen it a lot.)
10. Brambleberry   (Canonical name, but the combo is odd.)
11. Silvercloud   (I like it and I like the combo.)
12. Gingercloud   (Ginger seems a bit awkward, but otherwise nice.)
13. Silentfang   (I honestly think this is a very fun combo.)
14. Moonpond   (Very pretty name and I don't see -pond vry often.)
15. Rosefur   (Pretty generic, but not bad.)
16. Sunspeck   (Pretty! I like the combo.)
17. Echoheart   (I like the combo, makes sense, and it cool.)
18. Blazetail   (Sounds like generic name that I'd expect to see.)
19. Tinywhisper   (Cute name, but very long combo.)
20. Smokedrop   (Awkward.)
21. Lionstrike   (The combo seems like something I'd see in the book, but is a bit awkward.)

ok so brokensight was originally a rouge named broken, because his parents thought he wasn't fit to be anything since he was blind, but his mate, (doedapple who i forgot to add) convinced him to join a clan and since he was blind his name was brokensight. pretty short history, i know

Angeldusk  ( I don't think Angel- nor the grouping, is particularly fitting.)

Stormcall  ( This is a nice name! I like it a lot.)
Fireflycall(I have two ocs with the prefix firefly!)  ( Pretty name, over all, though I don't care for the -call part so much.)
Shadowspark  ( Pretty name and I think both parts go really well together!)
Thistledawn  ( The combo is very odd, very odd indeed. But I like it a lot anyway.)
Cedarflake   ( Eh. Not a good combo. Either woodchip-ish or cereal-ish.)

Embersmoke  ( I like it! It makes a good combo, but not particularly visually appealing.)
